NOVICE 520M Even
start. Shortly after the start SUPER
PASS was momentarily hampered.
Entering the 1st turn KEALOAH checked off the heels of
DAHOMEY WINDSONG and collided with AFTER GLOW causing this greyhound to fall
and take no further competitive part in the event. As a result, KEALOAH also lost significant
ground. Entering the top turn THUNDER
OF FIRE was hampered. The
greyhound AFTER GLOW underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found. The
greyhound PEPPER BEACH underwent a post-race veterinary examination, was
found to have suffered an injury to the near side pin, and was stood down for
a period of 10 days. |

GRADE 520M HONEY HORNEY and NAMROD were best to begin while SAMANTHA
BENZ was slowly away. PRATER’S ACE
began awkwardly. In the front straight
PRATER’S ACE and MJOLINER were checked.
Approaching the 1st turn FLYING TWISTER and HONEY HORNET
came together causing HONEY HORNET to lose ground. Entering the 1st turn MJOLINER
checked off heels and collided with PRATER’S ACE and both greyhounds lost
ground. In the 1st turn ARE
YOU THERE shifted out and collided with HONEY HORNET and SAMANTHA BENZ
causing HONEY HORNET and ARE YOU THERE to become severely unbalanced and lose
significant ground. |

TREMBATH TYRE REPAIRS 5th GRADE 431M ON THE WALL
was best to begin while GALLANT EXPLORER and LIGHTNING WHITE were marginally
slow. In the 1st turn
LIGHTNING WHITE, MAYWYN IF LUCKY and YOU JANE all bumped causing YOU JANE to
become unbalanced. The greyhound
YOU JANE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have
suffered an injury to the off side hip and was stood down for a period of 14
days. |

5th GRADE 431M REIYN CHAAI was marginally slow to begin. At the start CHOC LATTE CLOUD, SPRING
REFALL, BAZINGA BENZ and MADAM LOOPSY all collided and became unbalanced
causing BAZINGA BENZ and SPRING RECALL to lose ground. In the 1st turn MADAM LOOPSY,
GITCHA ROSES and SOCIAL collided causing MADAM LOOPSY and GITCHA ROSES to
lose ground and GUN DANCER and REIYN CHAAI that were racing in proximity to
be checked. Entering the top turn
MADAM LOOPSY, SOCIAL and REIYN CHAAI all checked off heels. |

PET FOOD 5th GRADE 431M COLD HARD TRUTH, PENTADOG and MAYWYN PETTYCASH were slow
to begin. In the 1st turn
PENTADOG and COLD HARD TRUTH collided while MAYWYN PETTYCASH checked off
heels. Shortly after, INVERGARRY LADY
checked off heels and collided with SPRING AUDREY and ISSY COOL causing these
2 greyhounds to become severely unbalanced and lose ground. DODGY DANCER and MAYWYN PETTYCASH that were
racing in proximity were also inconvenienced.
MAYWYN PETTYCASH and DODGY DANCER were wide in the back straight. DODGY DANCER was wide in the home straight. The greyhound ISSY COOL underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

C2C CONSTRUCTOINS 4/5th GRADE 520M MURBAH GOLD was best to begin while FLASH VENTURE began
awkwardly. Shortly after the start
STANKY LEG was tightened and momentarily hampered. In the 1st turn LOVED UP and
SPLENDIFEROUS came together. Leaving
the 1st turn SPLENDIFEROUS improved onto the heels of LOVED UP and
both greyhounds were checked and lost ground with FLASH VENTURE that was
following, also inconvenienced. In the
top turn SIZEABLE was tightened and SPLENDIFEROUS that was following was
inconvenienced. Entering the home
straight SIZEABLE, SPLENDIFEROUS and LOVED UP raced tight. |

5th GRADE FINAL 520M PRATER’S PROMISE and FABRIQUE were best to begin while
ROAD SCHOLAR was slow. Shortly after
the start KIKEM ZEST and ROAD SCHOLAR were tightened and momentarily
hampered. In the front straight ONE
DOLLAR and SALUDOS were checked and lost ground. Leaving the 1st turn SALUDOS and
ONE DOLLAR collided and both lost ground. |

GRAND PRIX FINAL 732M DREAM BLASTER and ABBY NORMAL were
best to begin while MY BOY BRODIE was slow.
Shortly after the start ABBY NORMAL shifted in colliding with LOVELACE
and DREAM BLASTER. In the 1st
turn FLASH ROSE checked off heels and collided with LOVELACE. KIKEM STORMY that was following was
hampered as a result. Through the 1st
turn MY BOY BRODIE improved onto the hindquarters of KIKEM STORMY and both
greyhounds were checked and lost ground.

SURGEON 5th GRADE 431M SPRING LAUREN and SHEZA RULER were best to begin. In the 1st turn DOUBLE SWATZA
and LITTLE LUCY collided causing LITTLE LUCY to lose ground. KAAN PAKMAK and ORANGE THUNDER were wide in
the back straight. In the top turn
ORANGE THUNDER was momentarily hampered. The greyhound LITTLE LUCY underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side hock and
was stood down for a period of 6 weeks. |

5th GRADE 431M GIFTED ANGEL was best to begin while RORY THE RACER and
COSMIC DENLYN were marginally slow. In
the 1st turn general tightening resulted in interference to all
runners with MAGIC BENZ, SPRING NAKANO and NO SHOW JONES all losing
ground. Passing the catching pen
GIFTED ANGEL was tightened and momentarily hampered. Over the concluding stages RORY THE RACER marred
the running of ORPHAN ANNIE. The greyhound SPRING NAKANO underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards advised trainer Mr. G Moore that the greyhound
RORY THE RACER would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st
offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 431m all tracks. |
