start. Leaving the front straight
PHANTOM HOUDINI was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. SHEZA JEWEL which was trialling was checked
as a consequence. Leaving the back
straight SHEZA JEWEL was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Shortly after GLAWY HYPERACT
was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. In the front straight during the latter
stages of the race PHANTOM HOUDINI and MARETTO collided. |

SKY RACING MAIDEN 431M Even start with the exception of VALERIE MERLE which was
marginally slow to begin with MR. MICKEY and MR. RALPH were both slow to
begin. Through the 1st turn
DESERT CHILD and CHAIN SMOKER collided on a number of occasions. Approaching the turn into the back straight
DESERT CHILD was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Leaving the back straight ZAZU’S HEADACHE
was tightened for racing room and momentarily hampered. Rounding the turn into the front straight
CHAIN SMOKER and CATCH ME KEITH collided. |

NOVICE 520M Even
start. Shortly after the start PHANTOM
HENRY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Leaving the front straight PHANOM PETE was
tightened for racing room, checked, shifted out and collided with MR.
BELVEDERE which then shifted out and made heavy contact with the hindquarters
of NINPIN resulting in MR. BELVEDERE and NINPIN to be checked and lose
ground. Entering the back straight MR
BELVEDERE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. The greyhound
NINPIN underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have
suffered an injury to the near side pin and was stood down for a period of 7
days. |

TREMBATH TYRE REPAIRS NOVICE 431M Even start.
Shortly after the start HANNAH JAY JAY and EDGY collided. Shortly after WERINA LIGHTNING was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the 1st turn EDGY,
WHITE EAGLE and HOT AN CHIP all collided resulting in all greyhounds to be
checked and lose ground. Entering the
back straight HOT AN CHIPS shifted in and collided with WHITE EAGLE which in
turn shifted in and collided with EDGY resulting in EDGY and WHITE EAGLE to
be severely checked and lose considerable ground and HOT AN CHIPS to be
severely checked, fell and took no further part in the race. WERINA LIGHTNING which was trailling was
checked as a consequence and raced wide.
Entering the front straight SNOW GIRL checked across the heels of
HANNAH JAY JAY and raced wide. The greyhound HOT AN CHIPS underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound EDGY underwent a post race veterinarian
examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound WHITE EAGLE underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

after the start PENTADOG and GITCHA ROSES collided. Through the 1st turn LIMITLESS
was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. |

O’REILLY PET FOOD 5th GRADE 431M SNOZZSTA was best to begin. Through the 1st turn LIL MISS
PINKY, SPRING AUDREY, BINTANG LAURIE and LITE ME UP were all tightened for
racing room, checked and lost ground.
Shortly after SPRING LAURIE and WARPIG collided. In the back straight LIL MISS PINKY and
SPRING AUDREY collided on a number of occasions. The greyhound WARPIG underwent a post race veterinarian
examination and no apparent injuries were found. When questioned over the performance
trainer Mr. C Williams reported that he had trialled the greyhound over the
431m and was satisfied that it would run out the distance however, after
suffering some interference in the early part of the race he was of the view
the greyhound tired over the concluding stages. It would be his intention to limit WARPIG’s
racing in the near future to the 331m at Albion Park. |

Approaching the 1st turn KNEW YOU WOULD was tightened for
racing room, checked and lost ground.
MASTER CORSAIR which was trailing was checked as a consequence. Through the 1st turn COOKIE NO
CREAM, HEART FELT CLOUD and SECOND GEAR were all tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. Leaving the
back straight HEART FELT CLOUD and SECOND GEAR were both tightened for racing
room, checked and lost ground. |

ground. Rounding the turn out of the
front straight NATURAL LAD and BURRUM STARSKY collided resulting in both
greyhounds to be checked. |
