MAIDEN 520M GALWAY
HYPERACT was best to begin. Shortly
after the start GALWAY ALICE clipped heels and was hampered. In the 1st turn ZAZU’S HEADACHE
and GALWAY HYPERACT bumped resulting in GALWAY HYPERACT to lose ground. Rounding the turn into the back straight
ZAZU’S HEADACHE and PHANTOM HOUDINI bumped.
In the back straight TOPAZ TAN got onto the hindquarters of ZAZU’S
HEADACHE resulting in ZAZU’S HEADACHE to be hampered. At the same time GALWAY HYPERACT and GALWAY
ALICE ran wide. In the home straight
GALWAY HYPERACT ran wide. |

WAREHOUSE NOVICE 431M WINGMAN HUTCH was best to begin with CHAIN SMOKER
slow. Shortly after the start MR.
BELLISSIMO and CHAIN SMOKER collided resulting in both greyhounds to be
hampered. Rounding the turn into the
back straight TERRANORA clipped heels and was hampered. In the back straight BELLA CETTE ran
wide. In the top turn TERRANORA was
tightened for racing room and lost ground.
Leaving the top turn MR. BELLISSIMO was tightened for racing room and
lost ground. In the home straight MR.
BELLISSIMO ran wide. |

GOLDEN VIEW GREYHOUND COMPLEX 5th GRADE 431M Even start
with PAN YOKO and FANCY FREEL slow. In
the 1st turn SECOND GEAR and SIVAMET bumped resulting in both
greyhounds to be hampered. Rounding
the turn into the back straight SIVAMET clipped heels and was hampered. In the top turn SPRING DESTINY was
tightened for racing room and lost ground.
Entering the home straight SPRING DESTINY and THIS TIME MADDIE bumped
resulting in both greyhounds to be hampered.
Approaching the finishing line SPRING DESTINY, FANCY FREEL and SIVAMET
collided resulting in all greyhounds to be hampered. The greyhound
SPRING DESTINY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent
injuries were found. Stewards questioned
trainer Mr. C Byers regarding the performance of the greyhound where he
stated that the greyhound was coming back from a significant injury of the
stopper bone and its was up 1.4kgs in weight.
The greyhound had been trialling well up the straight but had not been
around the circle and he did not support the greyhound. |

GJ WALSH & CO 5th GRADE 520M Even start with MAGIC SWIFTLY slow. Entering the 1st turn SAMANTHA
BENZ and COSMIC DENLYN collided resulting in both greyhounds to be
hampered. In the front straight on the
1st occasion MAGIC SWIFTLY was wide. In the 1st turn MAGIC SWIFTLY
was wide. In the front and back
straights MAGIC SWIFTLY ran wide. |

PET FOOD 5th GRADE 630M Even start.
Leaving the 1st turn SHAKEY START and FLYING TWISTER bumped
resulting in both greyhounds to be hampered.
In the front straight on the 1st occasion PORT LISA and
AUSSIE DIAMOND collided resulting in AUSSIE DIAMOND to lose ground. In the top turn SPRING SHANAE was tightened
for racing room and lost ground.
Rounding the turn into the home straight FLYING TWISTER and SHAKEY
START collided resulting in FLYING TWISTER to lose ground. Approaching the finishing line PORT LISA
and COSMIC YESSAM collided resulting in both greyhounds to be hampered. The greyhound FLYING TWISTER underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound ABBY NORMAL underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
side wrist and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

Shortly after the start NATURAL LAD and AVAMAY collided resulting in
both greyhounds to be hampered.
Entering the 1st turn NATURAL LAD and CHEVALEIR NUIT
collided resulting in NATURAL LAD to lose ground. In the 1st turn CHEVALEIR NUIT
and NAMROD bumped. Rounding the turn
into the back straight AVAMAY and SIZEABLE collided resulting in SIZEABLE to
lose ground. In the back straight
NAMROD and NATURAL LAD collided resulting in both greyhounds to be hampered. The greyhound NATURAL LAD underwent a post-race
veterinarY examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

520M GO LASSIE GO was best to begin. Shortly after the start PRATER’S ACE and
HEART FELT CLOUD slipped on the mat and both lost ground. Rounding the turn into the back straight OH
GOLLY GOSH and ALPHA CHAOS bumped resulting in OH GOLLY GOSH to run wide and
lose ground. In the home straight
HEART FELT CLOUD and NASH TATO collided resulted in both greyhounds to be
hampered. |

BIG BAD BOB, PRATER’S PROMISE and SMYPATHETIC collided resulting in all
greyhounds to lose ground. Rounding
the turn into the back straight PRATER’S PROMISE was tightened for racing
room and lost ground. Entering the
turn into the home straight PRECIOUS SAL, BIG BAD BOB and MORAYFIELD SWIFT
collided resulting in PRECIOUS SAL and MORAYFIELD SWIFT to lose ground. In the home straight SYMPATHETIC and SCIPIO
AFRICANUS bumped resulting in both greyhounds to be hampered. The greyhound PRECIOUS SAL underwent a
post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

GRADE 431M Even start.
Shortly after the start LIMITLESS, MIGHTY NIMROD, SPRING MYSTERY and
PENTADOG all collided and were hampered.
In the 1st turn KNEW YOU WOULD, LIMITLESS, MIGHTY NIMROD,
SPRING MYSTERY and PENTADOG collided and all greyhounds lost ground at
differing degrees. Entering the back
straight LIGHTNING WHITE clipped off the heels of SPRING ELLIE and was
momentarily hampered. In the home
straight LIGHTNING WHITE was wide. The greyhound LIMITLESS underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

5th GRADE 431M Even start with SHAKEY RANDLE and DAISY RUMBLE slow. Shortly after the start DAISY RUMBLE was
tightened for racing room and lost ground.
In the 1st turn OPTIMYSTIC, SAIL SURFER and SPRING LAUREN
collided resulting in SPRING LAUREN to shift out and check SPRING RECALL
resulting in all greyhounds to lose ground.
In the top turn NOIRE CHERIE clipped heels shifted out colliding with
SHAKEY RANDLE resulting in both greyhounds to lose ground. Rounding the turn into the home straight
SPRING LAUREN shifted out forcing DAISY RUMBLE and NOIRE CHERIE wide and all
greyhounds lost ground. In the back
and front straight DAISY RUMBLE was wide. |
