NOVICE 431M Even
start. Shortly after the start SPRING
LOYAL and LAZZA MANAZZA collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked
and lose ground. Through the 1st
turn SPRING LOYAL, LAZZA MANAZZA and SHINTARO STAR raced tight resulting in
all greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.
Shortly after HANNAH JAY JAY and WHITE EAGLE
were tightened for racing room and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight
HANNAH JAY JAY was tightened for racing room and
lost ground. SHINTARO STAR which was trailling was checked as a consequence. Entering the front straight HANNAH JAY JAY and SHINTARO STAR collided. The
greyhound HANNAH JAY JAY underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent
injuries were found. |

GRADE 431M Even start with the exception of CAPTAIN’S KNOCK which
was marginally slow to begin. Shortly
after the start CAPTAIN LOUIE, READY CETTE and ALPHA ZEPHYR raced tight
resulting in all greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. Through the 1st turn READY CETTE
and ALPHA ZEPHYR collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose
ground. Entering the front straight
INTERACTION and CAPTAIN’S KNOCK collided resulting in both greyhounds to be
checked. |

CLINT’S CARAVAN WAREHOUSE 5th GRADE 431M The greyhound
AUNTY FREDA underwent a pre race veterinarian
examination as the greyhound had raced at Ipswich on 28 July 2017 and no
apparent injuries were found and passed fit to start. Even start
with the exception of SECOND GEAR and AUNTY FREDA which were both slow to
begin. Through the 1st turn
SPRING HOUDINI was tightened for racing room and lost ground. AUNTY FREDA which was trailing was checked
as a consequence and lost ground.
Leaving the back straight SPRING HOUDINI improved onto the heels of
COSADO SUN and lost ground. |

4/5th GRADE 520M Even start.
Rounding the turn out of the front straight CHEVALEIR NUIT and MISS
MINAJ collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose
ground. PRATER’S PROMISE shifted out
in the run to the finish which hampered the running of MAGIC HORNET. MAGIC HORNET which was racing to the
outside was checked as a consequence and lost ground. The greyhound MAGIC HORNET underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have
suffered an injury to the near fore stopper pad and was stood down for a
period of 14 days. |

GOLDEN
VIEW GREYHOUND COMPLEX 4/5th GRADE 520M Even start.
Approaching the turn into the front straight on the 1st
occasion SKY BOND and AUSSIE DIAMOND collided resulting in both greyhounds to
be checked and lose ground. PEPPER
BEACH commenced to give ground leaving the back straight to finish a
considerable distance from the remainder of the field. The greyhound PEPPER BEACH underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent
injuries were found. Stewards advised
trainer Ms. A O’Reilly that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 71
Unsatisfactory Performance and must perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial
630m all tracks prior to nominating. |

GJ WALSH & CO 5th GRADE 520M Even start. Shortly after the start AVAMAY and MUSTANG
NOVA collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose
ground. Rounding the turn out of the
front straight DAHOMEY WINDSONG and BUTTON PUSHER collided resulting in both
greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. |

GRADE 431M Even start with the exception of COLD HARD TRUTH which
was slow to begin. Shortly after the
start LIGHTNING WHITE was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Through the 1st turn KAMILAROI
DUK was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight
SNOZZSTA was tightened for racing room and lost ground. In the front straight during the run to the
finish SNOZZSTA and KAMALAROI DUK collided. The greyhound KAMILAROI DUK underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent
injuries were found. |

HARRIS GOLD SOV FINAL 0 – 4 WINS 630M Even start. Approaching the turn into the front
straight on the 1st occasion DIAMOND ROBYNE and SAY GOOD DAY
collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. FLYING TWISTER and MURSLEOW were both
checked as a result of this incident and lost ground. Entering the front straight on the 1st
occasion DIAMOND ROBYNE and SAY GOOD DAY collided resulting in both greyhounds
to be checked and lose ground. Leaving
the front straight DIAMOND ROBYNE made heavy contact with the hindquarters of
SORRENTO resulting in both greyhounds to be severely checked and lose
considerable ground. Entering the
front straight during the run to the finish PHANTOM HENRY turned its head
outwards in the direction of ARE YOU THERE which was racing to its outside. The greyhound SORRENTO underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have
suffered an injury to the off side hip and was stood down for a period of 10
days. Stewards advised trainer Mr. P
O’Reilly that the greyhound PHANTOM HENRY would be charged under Rule 69 (A)
Failing to Pursue, 2nd offence, 3 months plus a satisfactory
stewards’ trial 630m all tracks. |

GRADE 520M SNOW RUNNER and OH GOLLY GOSH were best to begin. Shortly after the start SPRING SHANAE and
LOVED UP were tightened for racing room and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the front straight
SPRING QUARTET and SAMANATHA BENZ collided resulting in SAMANATHA BENZ to be
checked and lose ground. OH GOLLY GOSH
raced wide rounding the turn into the front straight. |

marginally slow to begin. Shortly
after the start SPRING COMMAND and HOLLY KNOCKS collided resulting in both
greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.
Through the 1st turn BENTAXLE was tightened for racing room
and lost ground. Entering the back
straight SHAKEY RANDLE and BUD’S DELIGHT collided resulting in BUD’S DELIGHT
to be checked and lose ground.
Rounding the turn out of the back straight SIRIUS STAR improved onto
the heels of SHAKEY RANDLE and was checked as a consequence losing
ground. CINDY CEE raced wide entering
the front straight. |
