MINNIE MAYWYN performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of
431m in a time of 26.05 and is now cleared all tracks. The track was
turned 50mm on Monday 7 August 2017. |

MAIDEN HEAT 1 431M Even
start with ILLAWONG COWGIRL and KIMARI MARIA marginally slow. Shortly after the start KIMARI MARIA and
ILLAWONG COWGIRL bumped. In the 1st
turn VELOCITY MARLINA, KIMARI MARIA and ILLAWONG COWGIRL collided resulting
in all greyhounds to be hampered. At
the same time BLACK KOALA and ALIRYAH’S GIRL collided resulting ALIRYAH’S
GIRL to lose ground. Rounding the turn
into the back straight ALIRYAH’S GIRL shifted out colliding with ILLAWONG
COWGIRL resulting in both greyhounds to lose ground. Entering the back straight KIMARI MARLINA
shifted out colliding with ALIRYAH’S GIRL resulting in ALIRYAH’S GIRL to lose
ground. Approaching the finishing line
ALIRYAH’S GIRL and KIMARI MARIA bumped.
In the front straight ALIRYAH’S GIRL and KIMARI MARIA were wide. |

Shortly after the start FROSTY BLACK JAY and SUB collided resulting in
FROSTY BLACK JAY to lose ground. In
the top turn JET BLACK STAR was tightened for racing room and lost
ground. Entering the front straight
MR. LEO shifted out colliding with SUB resulting in both greyhounds to be
hampered. In the front and back
straight FROSTY BLACK JAY was wide. |

ALPHA 390 FINANCE MAIDEN FINAL 431M TECHNO’S
GLORY and PRINCESS IVY were best with HOME LUCK and OWN GOAL marginally
slow. Shortly after the start TOPAZ
TAN and MALLEE BULL bumped. In the 1st
turn OWN GOAL, TECHNO’S GLORY and BLUE GIRL BLUE collided resulting in
TECHNO’S GLORY and BLUE GIRL BLUE to lose ground. Rounding the turn into the back straight
MALLEE BULL and TOPAZ TAN bumped resulting in MALLEE BULL to lose
ground. In the back straight TECHNO’S
GLORY was wide. In the top turn TOPAZ
TAN clipped heels and lost ground.
Entering the home straight TOPAZ TAN and HOME LUCK collided on
numerous occasions with HOME LUCK turning its head outwards making muzzle
contact with TOPAZ TAN. Stewards
advised trainer Mr. R Greensil that the greyhound HOME LUCK would be charged
under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory
stewards’ trial 431m all tracks. |

5th GRADE 431M WILDASH PEBBLES was best to begin with MR. BELLISSIMO
slow. Shortly after the start GAS UP
ISA and BLAZE ROSE HI bumped. In the
back straight WILDASH PEBBLES was wide.
In the top turn AUNTY FREDA and GAS UP ISA collided resulting in both
greyhounds to be hampered. In the
front straight ELOISE and WERINA LIGHTNING were wide. |

TYRE REPAIRS NOVICE 431M SECRETIVE INTENT and ALONSO BENZ were best to begin. Shortly after the start I’VE GOT CENTS,
THUNDER OF FIRE, ROSDUE AVALON, GOLD LINER and WHITE EAGLE collided resulting
in GOLD LINER and ROSDUE AVALON to lose ground. Rounding the turn into the back straight
I’VE GOT CENTS and WHITE EAGLE bumped forcing WHITE EAGLE to be marginally
hampered. Entering the turn into the
home straight WHITE EAGLE and ROSDUE AVALON collided resulting in both
greyhounds to be hampered. |

SAINT marginally slow. Rounding the
turn into the back straight GUNLEE ROCKER and ENZO JAZZ were both tightened
for racing room and lost ground. Entering the back straight GUNLEE ROCKER
clipped heels, shifted out and lost ground.
In the back straight PRATER’S SAINT was wide. In the top turn GUNLEE ROCKER was tightened
for racing room and lost ground. In
the front straight PRATER’S SAINT and SNOW GIRL were wide. Approaching the finishing line PARIS QUEEN
and PRATER’S SAINT bumped. |

of EDGE OF FOREVER resulting in ANOTHER NORRIS to lose ground. |

MISS PINKY marginally slow. Shortly
after the start LOGAN CITY and LIL MISS PINKY bumped resulting in both
greyhounds to be hampered. Rounding
the turn into the back straight BAZINGA BENZ and LOGAN CITY bumped resulting
in BAZINGA BENZ to lose ground. In the
back straight LIL MISS PINKY was wide.
In the top turn ON TIGHT LINES and SPRING SHELLEY collided forcing ON
TIGHT LINES out with THROTTLE ON, which was checked as a result. Entering the turn into the home straight
THROTTLE ON clipped the heels of LIL MISS PINKY resulting in LIL MISS PINKY
to run wide. In the front straight LIL
MISS PINKY was wide., |

slow. In the 1st turn
NOTHING ELSE clipped the heels of PRATER’S PROMISE resulting in NOTHING ELSE
to lose ground. Rounding the turn into
the back straight VELOCITY CLOVER, PRATER’S PROMISE and NOTHING ELSE collided
resulting in PRATER’S PROMISE and NOTHING ELSE to lose ground with SPOT ROSE
HI trailing was checked as a result. Ms K.Hoggan reported on Wednesday 9th to stewards that GOLD RAINS had
suffered an injury to the near side fibula and both front feet. |

5th GRADE 431M FANCY BENZ was best to begin with LIGHTNING LARICO
marginally slow. Shortly after the
start ARE YOU THERE and BUD’S DELIGHT bumped forcing ARE YOU THERE wide to
lose ground. In the 1st
turn ME HAPPY clipped heels and lost ground.
Entering the front straight NINA ROSE HI, LIGHTNING LARICO and BUD’S
DELIGHT collided resulting in LIGHTNING LARICO to fall and give no further
competitive part in the race with NINA ROSE HI and BUD’S DELIGHT to lose
ground. The greyhound NINA ROSE HI underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound LIGHTNING LARICO underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |
