The greyhound HOME LUCK performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.98 and is now cleared all tracks.

ALISSA’S ANGEL and ZABDON MCGREGOR were best to begin.  Shortly after the start LOCH ME UP and MR. MICKEY collided and both greyhounds lost ground.  In the 1st turn FARMOR IMPACT, ZABDON MCGREGOR and GOOD DAZE AHEAD all bumped causing all greyhounds to be hampered.  Entering the back straight MR. MICKEY clipped heels and shifted out and lost ground.  In the front straight REEF AND BEEF and LOCH ME UP were both wide.

SKY RACING NOVICE 431M

HOT was best to begin.  Shortly after the start ARFA SHOW OFF, SUPER SCOOTER and LIL’S ROSE collided causing SUPER SCOOTER and ARFA SHOW OFF to lose ground.  Leaving the 1st turn SURF CATCHER clipped heels and was hampered.  Entering the back straight ARFA SHOW OFF was tightened for racing room and hampered.  In the back straight SUPER SCOOTER was wide.  In the front straight BONDI GIRL shifted out and clipped heels and was hampered.

Even start with MR. RALPH slow.  In the 1st turn SURFBOARD and RUMBLING JAKE bumped causing SURFBOARD to be hampered.  Entering the back straight MR. RALPH was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Entering the top turn MR. RALPH and ROI LEAR KAHN collided causing MR. RALPH to lose ground.  Entering the home straight FASCINATE JACOB and RINGBARK MASON bumped causing both greyhounds to be hampered.

Even start with HERACLES and PORT LISA marginally slow.  In the 1st turn SAY GOOD DAY shifted out and collided with HERACLES causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  In the front straight on the 2nd occasion AUSSIE DIAMOND and SAY GOOD DAY collided causing both greyhounds to be hampered.

CLINT’S CARAVAN WAREHOUSE 5th GRADE HEAT 1 431M

Even start with ONE IN SIX marginally slow.  In the 1st turn BENTAXLE and ONE IN SIX bumped causing ONE IN SIX to be hampered.  Leaving the 1st turn CHIPS AHOY was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Entering the back straight KAPPA NU shifted out forcing BENTAXLE wide causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  Entering the top turn KAPPA NU and BENTAXLE collided causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  Entering the front straight COMMUNITY and CHIPS AHOY collided causing COMMUNITY to lose ground.  In the home straight BELVEDERE BABE and KAPPA NU were wide.

 

The greyhound COMMUNITY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near side wrist and was stood down for a period of 21 days.

 

The greyhound KAPPA NU underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 6 weeks.

GOLDEN VIEW GREYHOUND COMPLEX 5th GRADE HEWAT 2 431M

MAYWYN PROMISES and NEVER A DOUBT were best to begin.  In the 1st turn WITHCOTT FLYER was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Entering the back straight WITHCOTT FLYER and DORREGO collided causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  In the front and back straight MAYWYN PROMISES was wide.

Even start.  Shortly after the start DONNY’S BEACH and FARAHMAC collided causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  In the 1st turn DONNY’S BEACH got onto the heels of PRATER’S SAINT causing DONNY’S BEACH to lose ground.  Leaving the top turn PRATER’S SAINT and KNEW YOU WOULD collided causing both greyhounds to be hampered.

 

The greyhound KNEW YOU WOULD underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

GALLON and SAIL SURFER were best to begin with GIFTED ANGEL marginally slow.  Leaving the 1st turn DOLLY’S WALLY and DE ZOOYA bumped causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  Entering the back straight SAIL SURFER was tightened for racing room and hampered.

GENTABLUE PET FOOD 5th GRADE HEAT 3 431M

SHEZA RULER was best to begin with LORD LACHLAN marginally slow.  Leaving the 1st turn HONEY HORNEY and FARMOR AT LAST bumped causing FARMOR AT LAST to lose ground.  Entering the back straight LORD LACHLAN commenced to give ground in open running.  Leaving the top turn LITE ME UP and HONEY HORNET collided causing HONEY HORNET to lose ground.

 

The greyhound LORD LACHLAN underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side hock and was stood down for a period of 8 weeks.

BEC’S DIAMOND and ROSDUE SPRITE were best to begin.  Shortly after the start BEC’S DIAMOND and LADY CORSAIR collided causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  In the 1st turn LADY CORSAIR and GLOBAL DEEJAY collided causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  Leaving the top turn GLOBAL DEEJAY was tightened for racing room and lost ground.
