Stewards Trial 1 – 431m The greyhound SHEZ
ROCKING performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 431m in a
time of 25.55. |

MAIDEN 520M BLAZING,
MONLEE and NOVEMBER FLYER were best to begin.
Shortly after the start INOUNO and SIXTEEN WINX collided. Rounding the turn out of the front straight
MONLEE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. In the back straight BLAZING and INOUNO
collided. Approaching the turn into
the front straight BURNING shifted out, turned its head and made muzzle
contact with NOVEMBER FLYER resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and
lose ground. Stewards
advised trainer Mr. M Emery that the greyhound BURNING would be charged under
Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory
stewards’ trial 520m all tracks. |

SKY RACING 5th
GRADE 431M The start of this race was delayed when STAR RISE proved
difficult to box. STAR RISE will be
given 1 more chance to be boxed in the required manner. Even start with the exception of DOLLAR AND CENT which
was marginally slow to begin. Shortly
after the start DROP SHORT was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Through the 1st
turn LIL MISS PINKY and TITLE collided resulting in TITLE to be checked and
lose ground. WILDASH WILLOW which was
trailling was checked as a consequence and lost ground. Entering the back straight LIL MISS PINKY
and DOLLAR AND CENT collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and
lose ground. LIL MISS PINKY raced wide
in the front straight. |

CITY COUNTRY FOOD SERVICE 5th GRADE 520M Even start
with the exception of MR. RALPH which was slow to begin. Shortly after the start DAISY RUMBLE was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the front straight
SWIFT ENFORCER and CRAZY BEE LADY collided resulting in both greyhounds to be
checked and lose ground. At the same
time BROOKE JEALOUS, FLEXI DAY and MR. RALPH all collided resulting in all
greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.
Leaving the back straight CRAZY BEE LADY improved onto the heels of
SWIFT ENFORCER resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. The greyhound
SWIFT ENFORCER underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found
to have suffered an injury to the near side hip and was stood down for a
period of 10 days. |

5th GRADE 630M Even start.
Approaching the turn into the front straight on the 1st
occasion SPRING SHANAE and SKY BOND were both tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. |

CARAVAN WAREHOUSE 5th GRADE 520M Even start with the exception of CASEY WHISPER which was
slow to begin. Approaching the turn
into the back straight ALLPA MAMA and ORBIT THE SUN collided resulting in
both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight
ORBIT THE SUN checked across the heels of ALLPA MAMA and lost ground. Entering the front straight CASEY WHISPER
and KODA BEAR collided. |

GOLDEN VIEW WAREHOUSE 5th GRADE 520M Even start.
Shortly after the start NATURAL LAD, BANY ROSE, MO STRADAMUS, BIG
PRINCE, FLASH GEE and MINSTREL MAN were all tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. Rounding the
turn out of the front straight BANY ROSE shifted in and made contact with the
running rail and was checked as a consequence. Shortly after NASH TATO and WOOLOOGA
collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. BIG PRINCE which was trailing was checked
as a consequence and lost ground.
Entering the back straight BANY ROSE and MO STRADAMUS collided
resulting in BANY ROSE to be severely checked, fell and took no further part
in the race. In the back straight NASH
TATO was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. In the front straight during the run to the
finish NATURAL LAD checked across the heels of MINSTREL MAN. The greyhound BANY ROSE underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
hind leg and was stood down for a period of 5 days. |

WILDASH DIVA was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. ME HAPPY which was trailling was checked as
a consequence and lost ground.
Approaching the turn into the front straight HOPEFUL MISS was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. MAGIC SWIFTLY raced wide rounding the turn
into the front straight. |
