start. Shortly after the start LOCH ME
UP and SIMMSY’S NINERON bumped causing both greyhounds to be hampered. In the back straight NOVEMBER FLYER and
FRIENDZ bumped. Rounding the turn into
the home straight NOVEMBER FLYER clipped heels and was hampered. |

SKY RACING NOVICE 520M Even start with MR. RALPH and INOUNO marginally
slow. Approaching the 1st
turn IRISH SPICE and WERINA LIGHTNING collided causing both greyhounds to run
wide and be hampered. Entering the
turn into the back straight INOUNO clipped heels and lost ground. In the top turn GALWAY CHEETA was tightened
for racing room and lost ground. In
the front straight GALWAY CHEETA and INOUNO were wide. The greyhound MR. RALPH underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near hind toe and
was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

CITY COUNTRY FOOD SERVICE 5th GRADE 431M Even start with MAGIC SWIFTLY
slow. In the 1st turn SHUNT
MAN was tightened for
racing room and lost ground. Rounding
the turn into the back straight MIDNIGHT DASHER and BIG WINSTON collided
causing MIDNIGHT DASHER to lose ground.
In the back straight MAGIC SWIFTLY was wide. In the front straight MAGIC SWIFTLY was
wide. The greyhound
MIDNIGHT DASHER underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to
have suffered an injury to the off side shoulder and was stood down for a
period of 10 days. |

5th GRADE 630M CHAMPAGNE SALLY was best to begin. Shortly after the start PHANTOM HOUDINI and
SPRING SHANAE were tightened for racing room and lost ground. Approaching the 1st turn
SORRENTO and SKY BOND collided causing both greyhounds to be hampered. Rounding the turn out of the front straight
on the 1st occasion SKY BOND ran wide. In the top turn ZIVA’S LASS and PHANTOM
HOUDINI bumped causing ZIVA’S LASS to be hampered. The greyhound SKY BOND underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near hind hip and
was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

TYRE REPAIRS 4/5th GRADE 431M Even start.
Shortly after the start CUZZY BROMAC and INVERGARRY LADY bumped
causing INVERGARRY LADY to be hampered.
In the 1st turn GALA SHOW and BLOZA bumped with ONE DOLLAR
being checked as a result causing all greyhounds to be hampered. Entering the back straight GALA SHOW commenced
to give ground in open running. In the
front straight BLOZA was wide. The greyhound GALA SHOW underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off hind back
muscle and was stood down for a period of 28 days. |

O’REILLY PET FOOD 5th GRADE HEAT 1 520M The weather was downgraded to ‘Showery’. Even start with MRS POLETTI slipping on the matting and
was hampered. In the 1st
turn DISCO DOLLY, MRS POLETTI, MAYWYNS NOISE and FLEXI DAY collided causing
FLEXI DAY to run wide and all greyhounds to lose ground. Rounding the turn into the back straight
DISCO DOLLY was tightened for racing room and lost ground. |

5th GRADE HEAT 2 520M The start of this race was delayed by 3 minutes due to
mechanical issues with starting boxes.
All greyhounds were removed from the boxes and were vet inspected and
were cleared to race. Even start with MINSTREL MAN marginally slow. In the 1st turn SMACK DAB got
onto the hindquarters of HESPERIDES causing SMACK DAB to run wide and check
FLYING TWISTER. Both greyhounds lost
ground. Rounding the turn into the
back straight MINSTREL MAN clipped heels and lost ground causing SIRUS STAR
to lose ground. Entering the home straight
HESPERIDEES got onto the hindquarters of LIGHTNING LARICO causing both
greyhounds to be hampered. The greyhound MINSTREL MAN underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound SIRIUS STAR underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

CONSTRUCTIONS 3/4th GRADE 520M Even start with PAUA TO LAUNCH and
OUTBACK SUNSHINE slow. In the 1st
turn ARE YOU THERE, OUTBACK SUNSHINE and WILLY DO collided causing all
greyhounds to run wide with WILLY DO to be hampered, OUTBACK SUNSHINE and ARE
YOU THERE to lose ground. In the front
straight on the 2nd occasion ARE YOU THERE was wide. The greyhound ARE YOU THERE underwent
a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

SURGEON 5th GRADE 431M NOIRE CHERIE was best to begin with SUDOKU DOLL
slow. Rounding the 1st turn
MRS. KASH, SHEZA RULER, BUD’S DELIGHT and SHEZ ROCKING collided causing BUD’S
DELIGHT and SHEZA RULER to lose ground.
In the front straight HOPEFUL MISS turned its head outwards making
muzzle contact with HEARTLAND FLYER.
Approaching the finishing line HEARTLAND FLYER, SHEZ ROCKING and
HOPEFUL MISS bumped. Stewards advised trainer Mr. G Joyce that the greyhound
HOPEFUL MISS would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence,
28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 431m all tracks. |

marginally slow. In the 1st
turn FOXY BE GOOD and SHAKY RANDLE were both tightened for racing room and
hampered. Rounding the 1st
turn VILCABAMBA and FOXY BE GOOD both collided causing them both to lose
ground. Rounding the turn into the
home stretch JACOBY RAIDER clipped heels and lost ground. |
