YOU WILL performed a satisfactory 6 month and weight trial over the distance
of 431m in a time of 25.81 and at a weight of 29.6 kg. |

MAIDEN 520M MONLEE
was best to begin. Shortly after the
start NOVEMBER FLYER was tightened and momentarily hampered. In the front straight CALYPSO BAY shifted
out and collided with ALPHA PHOEBE and both greyhounds became
unbalanced. Shortly after, CALYPSO BAY
was tightened and lost ground.
Entering the 1st turn general tightening resulted in
interference to all greyhounds excluding NOVEMBER FLYER and MONLEE. As a result, ORBIT THE MOON, ALPHA HEMERA
and CALYPSO BAY lost significant ground. |

SKY RACING NOVICE 431M TAZI BE GOOD was best to begin while RED JUMPER was
slow. Shortly after the start GALWAY
HYPERACT, BROTHER TREVOR and SLIP MY MIND collided and were unbalanced. Leaving the 1st turn RED JUMPER
and GALWAY HYPERACT were checked and lost ground. The greyhound RED JUMPER underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

CITY COUNTRY FOOD SERVICE 5th GRADE 630M PORT LISA and
DONNY’S BEACH began well. In the 1st
turn PHANTOM PETE was hampered.
Entering the bottom turn PHANTOM PETE and PORT LISA came
together. In the back straight PHANTOM
PETE marred the running of PORT LISA.
Leaving the back straight CHANTILLY BEAUTY was checked and became
unbalanced. In the home straight
PHANTOM PETE turned its head towards PORT LISA that was racing to its inside. The greyhound
PHANTOM PETE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent
injuries were found. Stewards advised
trainer Ms. A. O’Reilly that the greyhound would be suspended under Rule 69
Marring, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial
630m, all tracks. |

5th GRADE 520M BLOZA was best to begin.
In the front straight GALLON, MR. BELVEDERE and ALLPA MAMA collided
and were unbalanced. Approaching the 1st
turn MR. BELVEDERE, ALLPA MAMA, FLYING TWISTER and SIZEABLE collided and lost
ground. In the top turn MR. BELVEDERE
checked off heels and SIZEABLE that was following was hampered as a result. |

TYRE REPAIRS 5th GRADE 431M PARTY EVERY DAY was slow to begin. Shortly after the start DODGY DANCER, NOIRE
CHERIE, WILDASH WANDERER and IT’S DYLLAN came together and were
unbalanced. Shortly after, DOLLAR AND
CENT, DODGY DANCER, WILDASH WANDERER and IT’S DYLLAN collided and all greyhounds
lost ground. DODGY DANCER was wide in
the back and home straights. |

O’REILLY PET FOOD 4/5th GRADE 431M THIS TIME MADDIE was best to begin. In the 1st turn JOHN’S LAST, WHO
DAT GUN, GOLD SHERONA and ICONIC BEACH all collided and were unbalanced. ICONIC BEACH and GOLD SHERONA lost ground
as a result and PAN YOKO and BLACK AMEX that were following were inconvenienced. |

5th GRADE FINAL 520M SMACK DAB was declared a late scratching at 7:05pm on
Veterinarian’s advice, due to a laceration to the greyhound’s mouth. Even start.
Shortly after the start LIGHTNING LARICO was tightened and momentarily
hampered. In the 1st turn
BIG PRINCE, SIRIUS STAR and WOOLOOGA raced tight and lost ground. In the top turn BIG PRINCE checked off
heels and collided with LIGHTNING LARICO and both greyhounds lost ground. |

CONSTRUCTIONS 3/4th GRADE 520M MAYWYN’S COPY, PAUA TO LAUNCH and
KNOCKER KNOCK were slow to begin.
Shortly after the start MAYWYN’S COPY and PAUA TO LAUNCH collided as
did SLAYER RETURN, DU HAST, ONE DOLLAR and BINTANG LAURIE and all greyhounds
were unbalanced. Approaching the 1st
turn SLAYER RETURN shifted in tightening ARE YOU THERE which lost
ground. MAYWYN’S COPY that was following
was inconvenienced. In the back
straight MAYWYN’S COPY and ARE YOU THERE were wide. In the home straight BINTANG LAURIE,
KNOCKER KNOCK and ONE DOLLAR were tightened as PAUA TO LAUNCH shifted in. The greyhound SLAYER RETURN underwent
a post-race veterinary examination, was found to have suffered an injury to
the off hind back muscle, and was stood down for a period of 21 days. |

SURGEON 5th GRADE 431M The start of this event was delayed as stewards held for
an interstate event. SUDOKU DOLL was slow to begin. Shortly after the start ORPHAN ANNIE and
STAR RISE came together causing STAR RISE to become unbalanced. In the 1st turn KIA BE GOOD and
STAR RISE collided as did SHAKEY RANDLE, ORPHAN ANNIE and SHE’S ALL BLONDE
with SHE’S ALL BLONDE losing ground as a result. Leaving the 1st turn STAR RISE
and KIA BE GOOD came together. |

5th GRADE 431M SHEZA RULER was best to begin while MRS. KASH was
slow. In the 1st turn
general tightening resulted in interference to all runners excluding SHEZA
RULER. As a result of this incident FANCY
FREEL and MRS. KASH lost ground. In the top turn PARIS QUEEN was momentarily
hampered. Entering the home straight
PARIS QUEEN checked off heels and was unbalanced. |
