MAIDEN 520M Even
start with the exception of LOCH ME UP which was marginally slow to
begin. Approaching the turn out of the
front straight FROSTY BLACK JAY was tightened for racing room and momentarily
hampered. Rounding the turn out of the
front straight ALPHA RHEA, ALPHA PHOEBE and MONLEE raced tight resulting in
all greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. |

SKY RACING NOVICE 431M Even start with the exception of EYE LINER ROSE which was
marginally slow to begin. Through the
1st turn EYE LINER ROSE was tightened for racing room, checked and
lost ground. WILDASH PEBBLES and GOOD
DAZE AHEAD raced wide in the back straight.
Rounding the turn into the front straight WILDASH PEBBLES and GOOD
DAZE AHEAD collided. WILDASH PEBBLES
gave ground in the front straight to finish a considerable distance from the
remainder of the field. The greyhound WILDASH PEBBLES underwent a post race veterinarian
examination revealed that the greyhound had cramped, Stewards advised trainer
Mr. D Single that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 71 Unsatisfactory
Performance and must perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial 431m all tracks
prior to nominating. |

CITY COUNTRY FOOD SERVICE 5th GRADE 431M INVERGARRY
LADY and BOGIE TEEJAY were best to begin.
Through the 1st turn INVERGARRY LADY was tightened for
racing room, checked and lost ground.
Approaching the turn into the back straight BRIGHT SATELLITE shifted
in and contacted the running rail and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the back
straight SAIL SURFER was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. At the same time BRIGHT
SATELLITE shifted in and contacted the rail and lost ground. INVERGARRY LADY which was trailing was
checked as a consequence and lost ground.
Rounding the turn into the front straight BOGIE TEEJAY was tightened
for racing room, shifted out and collided with SHUNT MAN. Entering the front straight WHAT A MESS and
BOGIE TEEJAY collided. Shortly after
WHAT A MESS improved onto the hindquarters of BONKNOCKA PRINCE resulting in
BONKNOCKA PRINCE to be checked and lose ground. The greyhound
BONKNOCKA PRINCE underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. The greyhound
BRIGHT SATELLITE underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found
to have suffered an injury to the near side pi n and was stood down for a period
of 10 days. |

4/5th GRADE 630M Even start with the exception of SPRING SHANAE and REFUND
REQUIRED which were both marginally slow to begin. Approaching the turn into the front
straight on the 1st occasion LOZZA’S TROUBLE was tightened for
racing room, checked and lost ground. ALLPA MAMA, DAB LIVY DAV and MINNIE
MARTINI which were all racing to its outside were checked as a consequence
and lost ground. In the front straight
on the 1st occasion REFUND REQUIRED and MINNIE MARTINI
collided. Rounding the turn out of the
front straight LOZZA’S TROUBLE shifted out which hampered the running of
REFUND REQUIRED. Shortly after REFUND
REQUIRED and ALLPA MAMA collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked
and lose ground. The greyhound SPRING SHANAE underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

CARAVAN WAREHOUSE 5th GRADE 520M Even start.
Shortly after the start FLEXI DAY stumbled on the mat and shifted out
which hampered the running of SWEET KARMAR.
Rounding the turn out of the front straight GALLON and SWEET KARMAR
collided resulting in SWEET KARMAR to be checked and lose ground. FLYING TWISTER which was trailing was
checked as a consequence and lost ground. |

GOLDEN VIEW GREYHOUND COMPLEX 5th GRADE 520M Even start.
Shortly after the start TWIN GALAXY slipped on the mat, shifted out
and collided with MISS BECKY SAM resulting in MISS BECKY SAM to be checked
and lose ground. In the front straight
on the 1st occasion ARE YOU THERE was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. Rounding the
turn out of the front straight JOHN’S LAST shifted out which hampered the
running of GADSBY’S ROAD. Rounding the
turn into the front straight LIGHTINING LARICO shifted out and collided with
GADSBY’S ROAD resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose
ground. Shortly upon straightening
MISS BECKY SAM shifted out and turned its head and marred the running of
LIGHTNING LARICO. Stewards advised trainer Mr. D Clarson that the greyhound
MISS BECKY SAM would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st
offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks. |

Through the 1st turn CAPRA ROSS was tightened for racing
room, checked and lost ground. ZHICHAO
LEE which was trailing was checked as a consequence and lost ground. Leaving the back straight THIS TIME MADDIE
was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. The greyhound THIS TIME MADDIE underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

ground. DU HAST which was trailing was
checked as a consequence and lost ground.
Shortly after ADHARA STEEL and DOLLAR AND CENT collided resulting in
both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. |

GRADE 431M Even start.
Shortly after the start MISS PIGGY, DO THAT PHOEBEE, SHE’S ALL BLONDE
and STEP BACK LASS raced tight resulting in all greyhounds to be checked and
lose ground. Through the 1st
turn FARMOR PERHAPS and WILDASH CECIL collided. Approaching the turn into the back straight
NOIRE CHERIE, FARMOR PERHAPS and WILDASH CECIL raced tight resulting in all
greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.
Entering the back straight FARMOR PERHAPS shifted out which hampered
the running of WILDASH CECIL. In the
back straight NOIRE CHERIE was tightened for racing room and momentarily
hampered. Leaving the back straight
STEP BACK LASS was tightened for racing room, checked and shifted out and
collided with WILDASH CECIL resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and
lose ground. Rounding the turn into
the front straight NOIRE CHERIE and SHE’S ALL BLONDE collided on a number of
occasions. FARMOR PERHAPS raced wide
rounding the turn into the front straight as did WILDASH CECIL. |

BUTTON PUSHER which were both marginally slow to begin. Through the 1st turn WILDASH
DIVA, PARIS QUEEN, SWIFT ENFORCER and BUTTON PUSHER were all tightened for
racing room, checked and lost ground.
COMPLETE CONTROL which was trailing was checked as a consequence and
lost ground. BUTTON PUSHER raced wide
rounding the turn into the front straight. |
