MAIDEN 431M MAYWYN’S
NOMAD and PITTSBURGH PHIL were best to begin.
REACTOR was checked at the start by GRU which began awkwardly. Shortly after the start GRU and TIP TOP
TEMPO were both hampered as a result of LOVE THE LOOK and MAYWYN’S NOMAD
colliding. On the 1st turn
GRU and TIP TOP TEMPO collided on a number of occasions as did LOVE THE LOOK
and PITTSBURGH PHIL. TIP
TOP TEMPO underwent a post race veterinary examination, was found to have
suffered an injury to the chest muscle and was stood down for a period of 14
days. |

SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT
2 431M GALWAY BLUEBIRD and MAYWYN OFTEN were slow to begin. Entering the first turn EXPECT LESS and
GALWAY BLUEBIRD collided. On the first
turn SNOWBALL CREED and HAD BETTER DAZE collided and shortly after SNOWBALL
CREED, EXPECT LESS, HAD BETTER DAZE, GALWAY BLUEBIRD, MAYWYN OFTEN, ARREBA
and SATIN LUSTRE were all tightened for room resulting in HAD BETTER DAZE,
GALWAY BLUEBIRD, MAYWYN OFTEN and ARREBA all being severely checked. |

ALPHA 390 FINANCE MAIDEN HEAT 3 431M EMMY and BLUE
GIRL BLUE were best to begin. FANCY A
BOHERNA was slow out. Entering the first
turn BLUE GIRL BLUE and CLASSY CASSIE collided resulting in TOWN HALL TULLY
being checked. Entering the home
straight ILLAWONG COWGIRL collided with FANCY A BOHERNA on a number of
occasions resulting in FANCY A BOHERNA becoming unbalanced and losing ground
approaching the winning post. |

5th GRADE 431M VIKING WHITE and MR RALPH were both slow to begin. TEFLON FLYER and BLACK KOALA bumped at the
start. Approaching the first turn
GALWAY CHEETA and ALFONSO collided resulting in GALWAY CHEETA becoming
unbalanced and ALFONSO being checked losing ground. In the back straight HOT and OUTLAW ANNIE
bumped on a number of occasions. On
the final turn BLACK KOALA collided with HOT resulting in HOT being checked. |

TYRE REPAIRS NOVICE 431M BAILEY BE GOOD was slow to begin. THIS IS LEGIT, VELOCITY RADINKA, WILDASH
TOM and GITCHA HUMMIN’ were all checked at the start. Approaching the first turn VELOCITY RADINKA
collided with RED JUMPER. Shortly
after WILDASH TOM collided with GITCHA HUMMIN’ causing GITCHA HUMMIN’ to lose
ground. |

O’REILLY PET FOOD 5th GRADE 520M ROI LEAR KAHN was best to begin. ACTUALIZE was tightened shortly after the
start. Leaving the front straight and
rounding the first turn ROI LEAR KAHN collided with HARBOUR DRIVE on a number
of occasions resulting in HARBOUR DRIVE becoming unbalanced. On the final turn HARBOUR DRIVE was
hampered by MAYWYN’S COPY which shifted wider. SNOW GIRL underwent a post race veterinary examination
and no apparent injuries were found. |

4/5th GRADE 431M SKIP TO IT underwent a post race veterinary examination
and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards
advised trainer’s representative Mr W. Shelton that the greyhound would be
charged under Rule 69 (A) Failing to Pursue, 1st offence, 28 days
plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 431m all tracks. CALIMERO underwent a post race veterinary examination, was
found to have suffered an injury to the off hind back muscle and was stood
down for a period of 6 weeks. |

CONSTRUCTIONS 3/4th GRADE 431M Even start. Entering the first turn RUNAWAY KITTY, ROAD
CAM, VIKING BUDDY, TITLE, THAT HOUDINI and FARAHMAC all came together and
were checked to varying degrees. Leaving
the back straight TITLE checked off the heels of RUNAWAY KITTY. Shortly after FARAHMAC improved onto the
heels of RUNAWAY KITTY and fell causing RUNAWAY KITTY and THAT HOUDINI to be
severely checked. THAT HOUDINI failed
to take any further competitive part in the event. In the run to the finish TITLE and ROAD CAM
collided inconveniencing VIKING BUDDY which was trailing. RUNAWAY KITTY underwent a post race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. FARAHMAC underwent a post race
veterinary examination, was found to have suffered an injury to the off fore
stopper pad and was stood down for a period of 7 days. THAT HOUDINI underwent a post race
veterinary examination, was found to have suffered an injury to the back and
was stood down for a period of 14 days. |

SURGEON 5th GRADE 431M BROTHER TREVOR was slow to begin. KNOCKA NOVA began awkwardly. Leaving the back straight RAGNAR LOTHBROK
checked off the heels of KNOCKA NOVA.
On the final turn SURE SHOT checked off the heels of KIA BE GOOD. Turning into the home straight RAGNAR LOTHBROK
collided with SURE SHOT. KNOCKA NOVA was found to have cramped after the event. A
subsequent veterinary examination revealed no apparent injuries. |

5th GRADE 431M PYRE underwent a pre race veterinary examination and was
found to have suffered kennel stress.
PYRE was subsequently declared a late scratching at 7.55pm and was
stood down for a period of 7 days. Even start. On the
first turn HENSAP JUSTINE, SWARAVSKI and WHITE EAGLE collided resulting in
SWARAVSKI and WHITE EAGLE being checked.
Turning into the back straight BLUEBERRY ROAD checked across the heels
of BARNEY BE GOOD. Approaching the
winning post BLUEBERRY ROAD checked off the heels of SCAR‘S BROTHER. |
