SKY RACING
MAIDEN 431M Even
start with the exception of ATTILA who was very slow to begin. Approaching the 1st turn WILDASH
KAMILARO and FAKE NEWS raced tight and bumped. Through the 1st turn FROSTY
BLACK JAY and SECRET KEPT raced tight and bumped. Approaching the back straight WILDASH
KAMILARO checked off the heels of FROSTY SKY causing both greyhounds to be
checked. Approaching the top turn FROSTY BLACK JAY checked off the heels of
FROSTY SKY become unbalanced and checked SECRET KEPT who was trailing, who
then collided with ATTILA and FAKE
NEWS causing all greyhounds involved to lose considerable ground. FROSTY
BLACK JAY raced wide down the home straight. The
greyhound SECRET KEPT underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. The
greyhound ATTILA underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

NOVICE 431M BLACK KOALA and BAILEY BE GOOD were best to begin. HOME LUCK and RED JUMPER were marginally slow. BLACK KOALA, ELOISE, ENZO JAZZ, ARFA SHOW
OFF and WAYCOL BILL came together and checked through the 1st
turn. Leaving the 1st turn
ENZO JAZZ was tightened for racing room.
Entering the back straight ARFA SHOW OFF and HOME LUCK checked off
heels. Shortly after ELOISE shifted
out causing ENZO JAZZ to race wide.
Leaving the turn into the home straight HOME LUCK shifted out and
checked RED JUMPER The greyhound ENZO JAZZ underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. Considering the greyhound’s actions WAYCOL BILL and how
it was boxed it is now deemed ‘hard to box’. |

IPSWICH SPRINT HEAT 1 431M DODGY DANCER
and LIGHTNING WHITE were best to begin.
GALLEON, ROAD TO FLAME and HESA REBEL were marginally slow. LITTLE FONZIE and ROAD TO FLAME raced tight
and bumped through the 1st turn. Leaving the 1st turn
DAVID LYNDAN and LIGHTNING WHITE bumped causing HESA REBEL who was trailing
to race wide around those greyhounds. In the back straight ROAD TO FLAME was
tightened for racing room and hampered.
DODGY DANCER and HESA REBEL raced wide down the back straight and into
the top turn. |

IPSWICH SPRINT HEAT 2 431M FLAPPING GUMS was best to begin. PRATER’S RECRUIT and COSMO BILL were
marginally slow. Through the 1st
turn SOCIAL and FLAPPING GUMS raced tight and checked with FLAPPING GUMS
losing ground and stumbling. ROAD CAM
and DIAMOND WINX who were trailing were inconvenienced, checked and lost
ground as a result. FLAPPING GUMS
raced wide down the back straight. Approaching the top turn SOCIAL checked
off the heels of ROAD CAM and checked FLAPPING GUMS causing both greyhounds
to lose ground as a result. MINSTREL MAN shifted out and raced wide at the
top turn. SOCIAL shifted out and
bumped FLAPPING GUMS rounding the turn into the home straight. The greyhound MINSTREL MAN underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound MINSTREL MAN underwent a 2nd
post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury
to the off fore leg and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

SPRINT HEAT 3 431M Even start with the exception of BINERAY BOY and PRINCESS
EMALYS who were marginally slow.
Approaching the 1st turn BINERAY BOY, PRINCESS EMALYS,
WILDASH WILDBOY and TITLE raced tight and checked. Shortly after BINERAY BOY hit the running
rail and lost significant ground.
WILDASH WILDBOY and TITLE raced tight and bumped on a number of
occasions down the front straight. The greyhound BINERAY BOY underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
fore leg and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

IPSWICH SPRINT HEAT 4 431M SPARE CASH and HOOP DREAMS were best to begin with LEST
WE marginally slow. Shortly after the
start GET SHORTY, CORY’S DIAMOND, FARMOR CHIPS, ZABDON LAMBO and HOOP DREAMS
came together and checked with all greyhounds losing ground. Approaching the top turn FARMOR CHIPS was
tightened for racing room and hampered. The greyhound HOOP DREAMS underwent a post race veterinarian
examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near hind leg and
was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

LAST and FLYAWAY BARB stumbled immediately after the start. Approaching the 1st turn MOVIE
FEVER, JOHN’S LAST and TOPAZ TAN raced tight and checked with all greyhounds
losing ground, especially MOVIE FEVER who lost considerable ground. PRATER’S SAINT raced wide through the 1st
turn. JOHN’S LAST and FLYAWAY BARB
raced tight and bumped just prior to the finish. The greyhound MOVER FEVER underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
hind leg and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

RACING 5th GRADE 431M Even start with the exception of
DORREGO and SPRING LOYAL who were marginally slow. Through the 1st turn ME HAPPY
and SPRING SHELLEY raced tight and checked.
LOVED UP who was trailing was inconvenienced as a result and lost
significant ground. Approaching the
top turn LITE ME UP shifted in and hampered DORREGO who stumbled and checked
SPRING LOYAL who was trailing causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Through the turn into the home straight ME
HAPPY was tightened for racing room, hampered and stumbled as a result losing
ground and dropping out of the race. The greyhound ME HAPPY underwent a
post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury
to the near side hip and was stood down for a period of 28 days. |

SERVICE 5th GRADE 431M SPRING ROY was best to begin. BROTHER TREVOR was marginally slow. FARMOR PERHAPS and SAIL SURFER raced tight
and checked through the 1st turn. In the back straight BROTHER
TREVOR, SURE SHOT and ALISSA’S ANGEL raced tight and checked causing ALISSA’S
ANGEL to lose ground. |

5th GRADE 431M WHITE EAGLE was best to begin. SHEZA RULER was slow. BENTAXLE raced wide through the 1st
turn and down the back straight.
Approaching the top turn SCAR’S BROTHER, WHITE EAGLE and SAMANTHA BENZ
raced tight causing WHITE EAGLE to be checked and lose ground. BIG DIPPA checked off the heels of ASICLAO
through the turn into the home straight and lost ground. SHEZA RULER who was following was hampered
as a result. The greyhound SHEZA RULER underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |
