MAIDEN 431M FROSTY
VANE and SHOW ME JAKEY were best to begin.
Shortly after the start HAD BETTER DAZE, BLAZIN’ BLUE, BIRR and FANCY
A BOHERNA were all checked. In the 1st
turn general tightening resulting in interference to all runners excluding
FROSTY VANE and SHOW ME JAKEY and runners were checked to varying
degrees. Leaving the 1st
turn HAD BETTER DAZE was tightened and forced to shift out onto the running
of BONITA DE KAHN causing this greyhound to become unbalanced. FANCY A BOHERNA that was racing to the
outside was inconvenienced as a result. |

4/5th GRADE 520M SWIFT ENFORCER was best to begin while CASEY WHISPER was
slow. At the start GALLON contacted
the heels of THUNDER FURY causing this greyhound to become unbalanced. Approaching the winning post on the 1st
occasion THUNDER FURY and NATURAL LAD came together and were unbalanced. Shortly after, THUNDER FURY and COSMIC
DENLYN collided. GALLON checked off
heels entering the 1st turn.
Entering the home straight NATURAL LAD contacted the heels of THUNDER
FURY and both greyhounds were unbalanced. The greyhound THUNDER FURY underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

IPSWICH CUP HEAT 1 520M PHANTOM HENRY
was best to begin. In the front
straight WINDY GIRL shifted in causing MAURICE MINOR, CAPRA ROSS and ANOTHER
NORRIS to be tightened and to lose ground.
Entering the 1st turn PHANTOM HENRY and SUPER SOOK collided
and PHANTOM HENRY lost ground. WINDY
GIRL that was following was inconvenienced.
Leaving the 1st turn PHANTOM HENRY shifted in and collided
with MAURICE MINOR causing MAURICE MINOR to lose ground. The greyhound
MAURICE MINOR underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent
injuries were found. The greyhound
PHANTOM HENRY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent
injuries were found. |

IPSWICH CUP HEAT 2 520M BIKINI CLOUD and SHOT CLOCK were best to begin. Shortly after the start MAGIC HORNET
shifted out causing INNAMINCKA and SHOT CLOCK to be tightened. Approaching the 1st turn MAGIC
HORNET was tightened for running room and lost ground, with SHOT CLOCK, BIKINI CLOUD and INNAMINCKA
also inconvenienced as a result.
Entering the back straight BIKINI CLOUD and SHOT CLOCK collided. Entering the top turn GADSBY’S ROAD and
SNUG came together and were unbalanced.
In the top turn MAGIC HORNET was tightened. |

CUP HEAT 3 520M GO LASSIE GO was best to begin. Shortly after the start GELANTIPY GOLD and
SPRING MYSTERY were checked. Entering
the 1st turn ALPAH CHAOS checked off heels and lost ground. Entering the top turn ALPHA CHAOS was
tightened and lost ground. In the home
straight SPRING MYSTERY and MINNIE MARTINI collided and were unbalanced. The greyhound GO LASSIE GO underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. After undergoing a second post-race
veterinary examination, the greyhound was found to have suffered an injury to
the off side hip and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

Shortly after the start SHADOW EDGE and MO STRADAMUS were checked and
became unbalanced. Entering the 1st
turn KEALOAH shifted out causing JALAPENO, SOFT SAND, SHADOW EDGE and SCIPIO
AFRICANUS to be hampered. In the 1st
turn SHADOW EDGE checked off heels and lost ground. |

BIG BAD BOB was marginally slow.
Shortly after the start OFF AND ON was checked. Entering the 1st turn BINTANG
LAURIE was tightened and became unbalanced causing OFF AND ON, BIG BAD BOB
and CYNDIE’S MAGIC that were following to be checked and to lose ground. Leaving the 1st turn OFF AND ON
checked off heels. In the back
straight BIG BAD BOB checked off heels.
In the home straight DREAM BLASTER shifted out hampering CYNDIE’S
MAGIC that was following. |

slow. In the 1st turn
ZHICHAO LEE, WHAT A MESS, LOGAN CITY and FLYING CIRCUS were tightened and
became unbalanced. MILLION DOLLAR that
was following was hampered as a result. |

5th GRADE 431M GOOD DAZE AHEAD was best to begin. JACOBY RAIDER and SHE’S ALL BLONDE were
marginally slow. In the 1st
turn SHE’S ALL BLONDE was checked and lost ground. SHE’S ALL BLONDE continued to lose ground
through the back straight. JACOBY
RAIDER and KIA BE GOOD were hampered in the 1st turn. Entering the back straight GOOD DAZE AHEAD
checked off heels and lost ground. In
the back straight JACOBY RAIDER and BUNDY BUCKS collided. In the back straight FABULOUS KATIE
commenced to give ground and continued to lose ground into the top turn. The greyhound FABULOUS KATIE underwent a post-race veterinary
examination, was found to have suffered an injury to the near hind webbing
and hip, and was stood down for a period of 14 days. The greyhound SHE’S ALL BLONDE underwent a post-race
veterinary examination, was found to have suffered an injury to the both back
muscles, and was stood down for a period of 8 weeks. |
