The greyhound TURN AND BURN performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.11.

BEFORE THE FIRE was best to begin with FREE PRESS slowly away.  Entering the turn out of the home straight NEV’S SHADOW eased for no apparent reason.  On the turn out of the home straight MONLEE and LOCH ME UP collided.  In the back straight LOCH ME UP was wide.  Entering the home straight FREE PRESS and MONLEE collided with GALWAY PANTHER wide.

 

The greyhound NEV’S SHADOW underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the stomach muscles and was stood down for a period of 21 days.

STANKY LEG and ROAD CAM were best to begin with FLYING CIRCUS slowly away.  Soon after the start SOCIAL checked off the heels of ROAD CAM causing ROAD CAM to check FLYING CIRCUS.  Entering the back straight HIPSTER checked off the heels of PRINCESS AMALYS causing HIPSTER to shift out checking APATITE and FLYING CIRCUS.  In the back straight ZHICHAO LEE was wide.  Entering the home straight APATITE and FLYING CIRCUS collided with ZHICHAO LEE wide.

 

The greyhound APATITE underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

SWIFT ENFORCER was best to begin with VEGAS BOY slowly away.  On the turn out of the home straight ALOTA DAGZ and SWIFT LEAH collided.  In the back straight ALOTZ DAGZ was wide.  In the home straight VEGAS BOY and PRATER’S SAINT were wide.

 

The greyhound STRING QUARTET underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near hind webbing and was stood down for a period of 21 days.

Even start.  Soon after the start SHE’S INYA FACE and CELS EXPRESS collided.  Entering the turn out of the home straight CHIPS AHOY and VOLKEY collided.  On the turn out of the home straight FLAPPING GUMS was wide.  In the back straight FLAPPING GUMS was wide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight CHIPS AHOY and FLAPPING GUMS collided.  On the top turn SHE’S INYA FACE and SNOR’S HEIR collided.  Entering the home straight VOLKEY and FLAPPING GUMS collided with CELS EXPRESS wide.

FLASH ROSE and SWEET KARMAR were best to begin with SORRENTO and SMOOTH CLAUDIA slowly away.  Entering the turn out of the back straight on the 1st occasion SMOOTH CLAUDIA checked off the heels of DONNY’S BEACH causing SMOOTH CLAUDIA to drop back sharply.  Entering the home straight on the 1st occasion JACKIE’S LADY and SMOOTH CLAUDIA collided with FLASH ROSE wide in the home straight.  Entering the turn out of the home straight SORRENTO hit the running rail.  On the turn out of the home straight SMOOTH CLAUDIA checked off the heels of SORRENTO causing SMOOTH CLAUDIA to check JACKIE’S LADY.  In the back and home straight FLASH ROSE was wide.

AIM was best to begin GALLEON slowly away.  Soon after the start LITTLE ACH CEE and DODGY DANCER collided and HOPE’S MAGIC crossing checking CHULU CHULULU, COSMO BILL and SPARE CASH.  Entering the back straight CHULU CHULULU checked off the heels of HOPE’S MAGIC causing those 2 greyhounds to drop back sharply.  In the back straight DODGY DANCER was wide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight COSMO BILL checked off the heels of SPARE CASH.  In the home straight DODGY DANCER was wide.

BUNDY BUCKS was best to begin with the remainder evenly away.  Soon after the start BIG DIPPA, SPRING COMMAND and GOTCHA MONEY all collided.  Entering the back straight SPRING COMMAND and MAGIC DINGLE collided causing MAGIC DINGLE to falter.  In the back straight BARNEY’S BOUNTY was wide.  In the home straight SPRING COMMAND was wide.

 

The greyhound MAGIC DINGLE underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side wrist and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
