MAIDEN 431M NITRO
NIC, SPRING REMI and ZABDON MCGREGOR were best to begin. FANCY A BOHERNA, SPRING REMI, ILLAWONG
COWGIRL and ZABDON MCGREGOR raced tight at the 1st turn with
SPRING REMI tightened for racing room and lost ground. FARMOR IMPACT raced wide in the back
straight. Approaching the top turn
ZABDON MCGREGOR shifted out and impeded FANCY A BOHERNA. Shortly after SPRING
REMI shifted out and checked FANCY A BOHERNA causing both greyhounds to lose
ground. HAD BETTER DAZE, NITRO NIC and
FARMOR IMPACT raced wide at the turn into the front straight and in the front
straight. The
greyhound SPRING REEMI underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was
found to have suffered an injury to the off side hip and was stood down for a
period of 10 days. |

SKY RACING NOVICE 431M SNOW GIRL and HOT were best to begin. BLACK KOALA, GRETA’S GIFT and SNOWBALL
CREED were marginally slow. At the 1st
turn SNOW GIRL shifted out and momentarily impeded HOT. Leaving the 1st turn GRETA’S
GIFT shifted out and bumped SNOWBALL CREED with both greyhounds racing
wide. Shortly after HOT shifted out
and momentarily impeded GRETA’S GIFT.
At the top turn NO VISA was tightened for racing room and lost ground
as a result. SNOWBALL CREED raced wide
through the turn into the front straight and in the front straight. |

At the 1st turn SENNI LUCILLE and GIFTED ANGEL raced tight and
checked. Shortly after BENTAXLE and SHAYLOR BART raced tight and checked with
SHAYLOR BART checking onto SENNI LUCILLE which then collided with GIFTED
ANGEL. SHAYLOR BART, SENNI LUCILLE and GIFTED ANGEL lost considerable ground
as a result. Leaving the turn into the front straight SHEZA RULER was momentarily
impeded. The greyhound
SENNI LUCILLE underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was found to
have suffered an injury to the off side wrist and was stood down for a period
of 10 days. |

5th GRADE HEAT 1 431M KYLE THE TANK was best to begin. SECRETIVE INTENT, GOLD LINER and SURE SHOT
raced tight and bumped shortly after the start. Through the 1st turn BRIGHT
SATELLITE and FARMOR PERHAPS raced tight with BRIGHT SATELLITE becoming
momentarily unbalanced. Leaving the 1st
turn SURE SHOT shifted in and impeded GOLD LINER causing it to lose
ground. FARMOR PERHAPS raced wide in
the back straight. Approaching the top
turn SURE SHOT and SPRING POLLY raced tight and checked. |

COUNTRY FOOD SERVICE 5th GRADE HEAT 2 431M PRATER’S RECRUIT was best to begin. GOOD DAZE AHEAD and KNOCKER KNOCK were
marginally slow. The entire field with
the exception of PRATER’S RECRUIT came together and checked at the 1st
turn. Shortly after GOOD DAZE AHEAD,
SPRING SHELLEY, VELOCITY RADINKA and KNOCKER KNOCK came together with SPRING
SHELLEY and VELOCITY RADINKA tightened for racing room, checked and lost
considerable ground. |

4/5th GRADE 520M The start of this race was delayed due to holding for
another event. CYCLONE BARCI was best to begin. FLYING TWISTER was marginally slow. Approaching the 1st turn PHANTOM
HENRY shifted in and bumped PHANTOM PETE then raced wide as a result. Leaving the 1st turn FLYING
TWISTER bumped MAURICE MINOR causing MAURICE MINOR to be momentarily
hampered. Approaching the top turn ROI
LEAR KAHN was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Leaving the turn into the front straight
PRATER’S SAINT shifted out and checked PHANTOM PETE causing both greyhounds
to become unbalanced. |

KAYPAT LODGE 5th
GRADE FINAL 520M WHITE EAGLE and SPRING ROY were best to begin. DOUBLE OAK was slow. In the 1st turn SPRING ROY
shifted in and checked WHITE EAGLE.
SNOWBALL OTTO was impeded as a result.
OUR DELIVERANCE, PAN YOKO and WAYCOL BILL which were trailing were
tightened for racing room as a result with PAN YOKO falling as a consequence
and taking no further competitive part in the race. SPRING BEK was hampered and lost ground as
a result of this contact. SNOWBALL
OTTO and SPRING ROY raced tight at the turn into the front straight with
SNOWBALL OTTO becoming unbalanced as a result. The greyhound OUR DELIVERANCE underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound PAN YOKO underwent a post race veterinarian
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

BEST 8 431M PEBBLE BAY was best to begin. CAPRA ROSS, REIYN CHAAI and ROAD TO FLAME
were marginally slow. Approaching the
1st turn REIYN CHAAI and ROAD TO FLAME raced tight and
checked. Leaving the 1st
turn PEBBLE BAY and PRINCESS EMALYS were tight causing PRINCESS EMALYS to
become momentarily impeded. In the
back straight REIYN CHAAI shifted in and impeded ROAD TO FLAME causing that
greyhound to lose ground. At the top
turn CAPRA ROSS was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. The greyhound ROAD TO FLAME underwent
a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

SURGEON 4th GRADE 431M BLANCETT and GEMMA BENZ were best to begin. SAMANTHA BENZ and ONYA BENZ raced tight and
bumped approaching the 1st turn.
Leaving the 1st turn COLD HARD TRUTH shifted out and
checked TITLE which in turn checked onto ONYA BENZ. SAMANTHA BENZ which was trailing was
hampered as a result. Shortly after
COLD HARD TRUTH stumbled. TITLE and ONYA BENZ who were trialling checked into
COLD HARD TRUTH causing those greyhounds to lose significant ground. In the top turn GALLEON was hampered behind
BLANCHETT and was momentarily unbalanced. |

5th GRADE HEAT 3 431M RED JUMPER, CHIPS AHOYS and BINERAY BOY were best to
begin. Approaching the 1st
turn SALUDOS, MADRE and AFTER GLOW raced tight and checked. Shortly after RED JUMPER, LEST WE and CHIPS
AHOY raced tight with RED JUMPER becoming unbalanced and shifting out
impeding LEST WE and CHIPS AHOY, causing all greyhounds to lose significant
ground. BINERAY BOY which was trailing
checked off heels and lost ground. RED
JUMPER raced wide through the front turn and in the front straight. The greyhound YOU JANE underwent a post race veterinarian
examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near hind foot
and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |
