Stewards Trial 1 – 431m The greyhound UNDER
ADVICE performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 431m in
a time of 26.14 and is now cleared all tracks up to 431m except Brisbane. |

MAIDEN HEAT 1 431M HOSTILE
EMJAY was best to begin with THUG marginally slow. Shortly after the start HOSTILE EMJAY
turned its head inwards but did not make muzzle contact. In the 1st turn THUG and
MULROONEY bumped. In the top turn
HOSTILE EMJAY, GO FOR CHUCK and POWER SERVICE collided causing HOSTILE EMJAY
to hit the running rail and GO FOR CHUCK and HOSTILE EMJAY to lose
ground. Leaving the top turn HOSTILE
EMJY and THUG bumped causing THUG to lose ground. Entering the home straight HAY ROSALIE and
GO FOR CHUCK bumped causing both greyhounds to be hampered. The
greyhound HOSTILE EMJAY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found. Stewards
advised trainer Mr. W Nicholls that the greyhound would be charged under Rule
69 (A) Failing to Pursue, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory
stewards’ trial 431m all tracks. |

SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT
2 431M SPRING GARY was best to begin. Shortly after the start LOVE THE LOOK and
LOWOOD DUK collided causing both greyhounds to lose ground. In the 1st turn FARMOR IMPACT
and BOSSY MISS BELLA bumped causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Leaving the 1st turn CHIPPIES
clipped heels, fell giving no further competitive part in the race. Entering the front straight BOSSY MISS
BELLA and HAY HAZ bumped. In the front
straight FARMOR IMPACT was wide. The greyhound CHIPPIES underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

MAIDEN FINAL 431M MAYWYN OFTEN
was best to begin with KAY CEE SAZIA marginally slow. Shortly after the start ZAHARA DYE, RUBEUS,
SPRING REINA and KAY CEE SAZIA all raced tight causing all greyhounds to be
hampered. Leaving the 1st
turn FORGOT MY MOUSE clipped heels, shifted out and lost ground. Rounding the turn into the back straight
KAY CEE SAZIA and RUBEUS collided causing KAY CEE SAZIA to fall and give no
further competitive part in this race.
In the home straight ZAHARA DYE was wide. The greyhound
KAY CEE SAZIA underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent
injuries were found. |

ALPHA 390 FINANCE NOVICE 431M LITTLE DOTTY TOO and HALL PASS were best to begin. Shortly after the start GRETA’S GIFT and
BLAZIN’ CRUSHER all raced tight causing all greyhounds to lose ground. Leaving the 1st turn HOT and
VIENNA CALLING collided causing VIENNA CALLING to lose ground. In the back straight GRETA’S GIFT was
wide. In the front straight BLAZIN’
CRUSHER was wide. |

GRADE 431M This race was delayed due to BURNING OAK boxing
manners. This greyhound was
subsequently made ‘hard to box’. GOLD SHEEN was best to begin. In the 1st turn BURNING OAK,
BUNDY BUCKS, NEW ABODE and KISSING CARTER all collided causing NEW ABODE and
KISSING CARTER to lose ground. |

JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS 5th GRADE HEAT 1 520M Even start with FRIENDZ slow to begin. In the 1st turn WHAT A MESS and
FRIENDZ collided causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Entering the turn into the back straight
PHANTOM HENRY clipped heels, shifted out and lost ground. Rounding the turn into the home straight
CHIPS AHOY and FRIENDZ bumped on numerous occasions causing both greyhounds
to lose ground. The greyhound FRIENDZ underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

5th GRADE HEAT 2 520M LIGHTNING WHITE and PHANTOM PETE were best to begin with
CHANTILLY BEAUTY and MR. RALPH marginally slow. Shortly after the start PHANTOM PETE and
FLYING TWISTER bumped with both greyhounds being hampered. Rounding the 1st turn FLYING
TWISTER and LOVED UP bumped causing both greyhounds to be hampered. Entering the back straight LIGHTNING WHITE
got onto the hindquarters of LOVED UP causing both greyhounds to lose
ground. In the back straight PHANTOM
PETE and FLYING TWISTER were wide. In
the top turn LOVED UP was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Approaching the finishing line PHANTOM PETE
and FLYING TWISTER collided. |

LITTLE FONZIE collided causing both greyhounds to be hampered. In the 1st turn FERNVALE RUBY
and AIM colliding causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Rounding the turn into the back straight
FERNVALE RUBY and AIM collided causing both greyhounds to run wide and lose
ground. In the home straight AIM
clipped heels and was hampered. |

veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |
