Stewards Trial 1 – 431m The greyhound
MULGOWIE YOWIE performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of
431m in a time of 26.05 and is now cleared all tracks except Brisbane. |

MAIDEN 431M CAKES
ALL ROUND was best to begin with SECRET KEPT marginally slow. Shortly after the start TECHNO’S GLORY and
SECRET KEPT bumped causing both greyhounds to be hampered. Rounding the turn out of the back straight
SECRET KEPT and TECHNO’S GLORY collided causing TECHNO’S GLORY to lose
ground. In the front straight CAKES
ALL ROUND and ZABDON MCGREGOR bumped. The
greyhound TECHNO’S GLORY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was
found to have suffered an injury to the back and was stood down for a period
of 10 days. |

SKY RACING NOVICE 431M Even start. In the
1st turn HAPPY MAIL, SMALL JEWEL, ENZO JAZZ and SNOWBALL CREED
collided HAPPY MAIL to be hampered and SMALL JEWEL to fall and give no
competitive part in the race. In the
back straight RUMBLING JAKE was wide.
Rounding the turn into the home straight ENZO JAZZ and BRASS ROAD
bumped. In the front straight BRASS
ROAD and HAPPY MAIL bumped. The greyhound SMALL JEWEL underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

into the front straight BELLA CETTE collided with the running rail and lost
ground. The greyhound

4/5th GRADE 520M Even start with SHUNT MAN marginally slow. In the 1st turn MAYWYN REWARDS
clipped heels, shifted out and lost ground.
At the same time RIO LEAR KAHN and HAVANA BLACK collided both running
wide and losing ground. Leaving the
top turn MAYWYN OPALS and SHUNT MAN collided causing MAYWYN OPALS to lose
ground. In the back straight MAYWYN
REWARDS was wide. |

COUNTRY FOOD SERVICE 4/5th GRADE HEAT 1 431M OUTBACK STORM was best to begin. Rounding the turn into the back straight
MAYWYN EMERALDS and COSMIC DENLYN bumped causing MAYWYN EMERALDS to lose
ground with GOOD DAZE AHEAD being checked as a result. In the home straight GOOD DAZE AHEAD and
IT’S ABOUT TIME were both wide. |

4/5th GRADE HEAT 2 431M Even start. In the
1st turn SONNY GEORGE, COSADO SUN and ONYA BENZ collided causing
ONYA BENZ and COSADO SUN to lose ground.
Approaching the top turn BINERAY BOY and COSADO SUN collided causing
both greyhounds to lose ground. The greyhound BINERAY BOY underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
fore flexor tendon and was stood down for a period of 14 days. |

TRUCK PARTS EXPRESS 4/5th
GRADE HEAT 3 431M Even start. In the
1st turn MAYWYN PROMISES, BURNING OAK, SHAVASANA, YOU SLIPPY GYPSY
and GOLD SHEEN all raced tight causing BURNING OAK to lose ground and the
remainder of greyhounds to be hampered.
Entering the back straight GOLD SHEEN and YOU SLIPPY GYPSY collided
causing GOLD SHEEN to lose ground. In
the front straight MAYWYN PROMISES was wide. The greyhound GOLD SHEEN underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

5th GRADE FINAL 431M Even start with FARMOR PERHAPS
marginally slow. In the 1st
turn BARNEY’S BOUNTY, KYLE THE TANK, SALUDOS and SECRETIVE INTENT collided
causing all greyhounds to lose ground.
In the top turn SECRETIVE INTENT and PRATER’S RECRUIT collided causing
both greyhounds to lose ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight
SECRETITIVE INTENT and KYLE THE TANK bumped on numerous occasions causing
both greyhounds to lose ground.
Approaching the finishing line PRATER’S RECRUIT clipped heels and
shifted in and lost ground. |

COFFEE AT RONI’S 4/5th
GRADE HEAT 4 431M BOGIE TEEJAY was best to begin with SAMANTHA BENZ and
GOLD LINER marginally slow. Rounding
the turn into the back straight SAMANTHA BENZ got onto the heels of MAKE
TODAY COUNT causing both greyhounds to lose ground. |

5th GRADE 431M Even start. In the
1st turn GIFTED ANGEL was tightened for racing room and lost
ground. In the back straight SHEZA
RULER stumbled and lost ground which resulted in BENTAXLE and SHAYLOR CLEDUS
to be checked and both greyhounds lost ground. Entering the front straight BENTAXLE and
SHAYLOR BART bumped causing both greyhounds to be hampered. The greyhound SHEZA RULER underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 28 days. |
