MAIDEN 431M SIN
CITY KITTY was best to begin with LOWOOD DUK slow. Shortly after the start RINGBARK LANA and
ROSDUE LEON bumped. In the 1st
turn RINGBARK LANA, ROSDUE LEON and RING HIM were all tightened for racing
room and hampered. Entering the back
straight RINGBARK LANA and RING HIM collided causing both greyhounds to lose
significant ground. Leaving the top
turn LOWWOD DUK got onto the heels of MINNIE BLUE causing MINNIE BLUE to lose
ground. Rounding the turn out of the
home straight MINNIE BLUE shifted out colliding with LOWOOD DUK causing both
greyhounds to lose ground. The
greyhound RINGBARK LANA underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was
found to have suffered an injury to the off side pin and was stood down for a
period of 14 days. |

SKY RACING MAIDEN 520M This race was delayed due to a severe thunderstorm and
now all races have gone back 1 timeslot. Even start with FREE PRESS marginally slow. Approaching the 1st turn FULL OF
TRICKS and BAD DAN FRANKIE bumped causing BAD DAN FRANKIE to run wide and
lose ground. Rounding the turn into
the back straight FREE PRESS was tightened for racing room and lost
ground. Entering the back straight
MONLEE was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Approaching the finishing line JOHN PRINCE
turned its head inwards making muzzle contact to REACTOR. Stewards advised trainer Ms. C Pollard that the greyhound
JOHN PRINCE would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence,
28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks. |

5th GRADE 520M Even start
with MRS POLETTI marginally slow. In
the 1st turn MYONA MORPHEUS and MRS POLETTI collided resulting in
LIGHTNING LARICO and PRATER’S SAINT to be checked and causing both greyhounds
to lose ground. |

TREMBATH TYRE REPAIRS BEST 8 431M Even start with HEZA SIZE UP marginally slow. In the 1st turn PEBBLE BAY and
REIYN CHAAI bumped causing REIYN CHAAI to lose ground. Rounding the turn into the back straight
HEZA SIDE UP got onto the hindquarters of RUN KAY RUN causing RUN KAY RUN to
lose ground. In the top turn LIGHTNING
WHITE and PEBBLE BAY collided causing PEBBLE BAY to lose ground. LIGHTNING WHITE was declared ‘hard to box’. The greyhound RUN KAY RUN underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
hind leg and was stood down for a period of 5 days. |

GRADE 630M Even start. In the
1st turn SHE’S INYA FACE and ZIVA’S LASS collided resulting in
PHANTOM HENRY, PHANTOM PETE and PHANTOM HOUDINI all to be checked and all
greyhounds to lose ground. In the
front straight PHANTOM PETE turned its head inwards making muzzle contact
with PORT LISA causing PORT LISA to collide with the running rail and lose
ground. The greyhound PORT LISA underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound SHE’S INYA FACE underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards advised trainer Ms. A O’Reilly that the
greyhound PHANTOM PETE would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 2nd
offence, 3 months plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 630m all tracks. |

to begin with ARABIAN GO DANI marginally slow. In the 1st turn OKA’S ANGEL
clipped heels, shifted out and collided with WHAT A MESS causing both
greyhounds to lose ground. Entering
the back straight ARABIAN GO DANI clipped heels and lost ground. In the top turn FLYING CIRCUS was tightened
for racing room and lost ground. |

and OWN GOAL were tightened for racing room and lost ground.
In the 1st turn CATCH ME KEITH and OWN GOAL collided
causing both greyhounds to lose ground.
Rounding the turn into the home straight COMPLETE CONTROL and CATCH ME
KEITH collided resulting in WISH YOU WILL to be checked and all greyhounds to
lose ground. |
