MAIDEN HEAT 1 431M ROSDUE
LIVE WIRE was slow to begin. Shortly
after the start ROSDUE LIVE WIRE, KRANKY, MONTRACHET, SIN CITY KITTY and
VELOCITY DELFINA collided resulting in all greyhounds being checked to
varying degrees. On the first turn
MONTRACHET checked off heels and collided with SIN CITY KITTY and VELOCITY
DELFINA resulting in all 3 greyhounds being severely checked. MONTRACHET
underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were
found. BULLET
PASS underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries
were found. |

SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT
2 431M LA QUINTA was best to begin while ATTILA and SECRET KEPT
were slow out. Shortly after the start
EBONNIE and ILLAWONG COWGIRL bumped.
Entering the home straight EBONNIE and LA QUINTA collided causing LA
QUINTA to become unbalanced, shift out and bump BLAZIN’ BLUE. |

MAIDEN FINAL 431M POWER SERVICE
was best to begin. On the first turn
GO FOR CHUCK and SPRING JENNY collided causing SPRING JENNY to become
unbalanced and collide with BOSSY MISS BELLA which then resulted in both greyhounds
being checked and losing ground.
Entering the back straight BOSSY MISS BELLA improved onto the heels of
GO FOR CHUCK and was checked. In the
home straight POWER SERVICE checked across the heels of SPRING GARY. SPRING JENNY
underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were

ALPHA 390 FINANCE NOVICE 431M MR RALPH was slow to begin. Shortly after the start ELOISE, MADIES,
MIDNIGHT TO ONE, LITTLE DOTTY TOO and ZAZU’S HEADACHE all came together and
raced tight into the first turn.
Entering the back straight ELOISE was severely checked. On the final turn LITTLE DOTTY TOO checked
off the heels of BALLINDERRY GIRL.
Shortly after ELOISE checked across the heels of LITTLE DOTTY TOO. ELOISE underwent a post race veterinary examination and
no apparent injuries were found. |

NOVICE 431M MY GLORIOUS GAL was best to begin. Shortly after the start GRETA’S GIFT, HOME
LUCK and MAYWYN’S NOMAD came together and bumped. Approaching the first turn BAILEY BE GOOD
and NEXT collided. On the first turn
GRETA’S GIFT, HOME LUCK, MAYWYN’S NOMAD, THUNDER OF FIRE, BAILEY BE GOOD and
NEXT collided resulting in GRETA’S GIFT, HOME LUCK and BAILEY BE GOOD being
checked and MAYWYN’S NOMAD being severely checked. MAYWYN’S NOMAD underwent a post race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

KAYPAT LODGE 4/5th GRADE 431M YOU JANE and WAYCOL BILL were slow to begin. On the first turn general tightening
resulted in BLANCHETT, WAYCOL BILL, COME TOGETHER and VIKING BUDDY all being
checked and BOGIE TEJAY being severely checked. In the back straight
BLANCHETT checked across the heels of WAYCOL BILL. BOGIE TEEJAY underwent a post race veterinary examination
and no apparent injuries were found. |

5th GRADE FINAL 520M Even start.
BONKNOCKA LASS and LOVED UP were tightened shortly after. Leaving the front straight on the first
occasion BONKNOCKA LASS, WHAT A MESS, HERACLES, LIGHTNING WHITE and FLYING
TWISTER raced tight and collided, resulting in all greyhounds being severely
checked. In the home straight
approaching the winning post BONKNOCKA LASS shifted out hampering LOVED UP. FLYING TWISTER underwent a post race veterinary
examination, was found to have suffered an injury to the near side hip and
was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

GREG
STERNBERG VET SURGEON BEST 8 431M OUTBACK SUNSHINE and WILDASH WILDBOY
were marginally slow to begin. LITTLE
ACH CEE and ROAD TO FLAME raced tight into the first turn. On the first turn SECOND GEAR, COOL VANE,
LITTLE ACH CEE, ROAD TO FLAME, SOCIAL and CHULU CHULULU collided causing all
greyhounds except for CHULU CHULULU to be checked and also checking OUTBACK
SUNSHINE and WILDASH WILBOY which were trailing. In the back straight SOCIAL checked off the
heels of LITTLE ACH CEE and blundered. |

5th GRADE 431M SPRING LOYAL was slow to begin. After the start THOMAS ROSE HI and KISSING
CARTER bumped on a number of occasions racing into the first turn. On the first turn KIA BE GOOD, THOMAS ROSE
HI, KISSING CARTER, LITE ME UP and VIKING RED came together resulting in
THOMAS ROSE HI, KISSING CARTER and LITE ME UP being checked and also checking
SPRING LOYAL which was trailing. In
the back straight LITE ME UP checked across the heels of SPRING LOYAL. LITE ME UP underwent a post race veterinary examination, was
found to have suffered an injury to the near fore toe and was stood down for
a period of 14 days. |

GRADE 431M JESS ROSE HI was best to begin while DAD’S THE WORD was
slow out. On the first turn GIFTED
PINES, VALKYRIE CANDY and KYLE THE TANK collided resulting in GIFTED PINES
and VALKYRIE CANDY being checked and also checking DAD’S THE WORD which was
trailing. DAD’S THE WORD underwent a post race veterinary
examination, was found to have suffered an injury to the off side wrist and was
stood down for a period of 10 days. |
