Stewards Trial 1 – 431m The greyhound
VELOCITY LINDER performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of
431m in a time of 25.32 and is now cleared all track except Brisbane. |

MAIDEN 431M Even
start with the exception of SPRING IVAN which was marginally slow. At the 1st turn FROSTY BLACK JAY
and FROSTY VANE raced tight and checked, SPRING IVAN who was trailing was
hampered and raced wide as a result. Shortly after SPRING IVAN checked off
the heels of FANCY A BOHERNA and lost ground. Leaving the top turn GALWAY
BLUEBIRD checked off the heels of SPRING SAL causing it to stumble and become
unbalanced. FANCY A BOHERNA who was
trailing collided into GALWAY BLUEBIRD causing both greyhounds to lose
considerable ground. The
greyhound FANCY A BOHERNA underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

SKY RACING NOVICE 431M ARFA SHOW OFF was best to begin. Shortly after the start all greyhounds with
the exception of FARMOR IN TUNE and ARFA SHOW OFF came together and checked
causing all other greyhounds to lose ground to differing degrees. Leaving the 1st turn SNOWBALL
CREED checked off the rear of GALWAY EAGLE, ZAHARA DYE who was trailing
collided into SNOWBALL CREED which in turn checked DODGE ME causing all
greyhounds to lose considerable ground.
Leaving the turn into the front straight ZAHARA DYE was impeded and
checked off the heels of DODGE ME then raced wide as a result. |

GREYHOUND-DATA.COM 5th GRADE 431M ONYA BENZ and
FLASHING FERGO were both marginally slow to begin. Shortly after the start FLEXI DAY, SNOW
RUNNER and SHAYLOR BART came together and were tightened for racing room. Leaving the 1st turn WITHCOTT
FLYER checked off the heels of ONYA BENZ and lost ground as a result. Shortly after SNOW RUNNER began to yield
ground and took no further competitive part in the race. Approaching the top turn SHAYLOR BART was
momentarily impeded behind WITHCOTT FLYER. The greyhound
SNOW RUNNER underwent a post race veterinarian
examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off hind back
muscle and was stood down for a period of 21 days. |

5th GRADE HEAT 1 431M MADIES and WHITE EAGLE were both best to begin. SPRING POLLY was marginally slow. At the 1st turn GOOD DAZE AHEAD,
COSMIC REX and MADIES came together and checked with COSMIC REX and MADIES
losing ground. Shortly after COSMIC
DENLYN checked off the heels of GOOD DAZE AHEAD and lost ground. Leaving the 1st turn COSMIC REX
and MADIES raced tight and checked on occasion. Leaving the turn into the front straight
COSMIC REX was impeded by GOOD DAZE AHEAD causing it to race wide as a
result. |

CITY
COUNTRY FOOD SERVICE 5th GRADE HEAWT 2 431M CHIPS AHOY was best to begin. GRAND ANGEL was marginally slow. Shortly after the start IT’S ABOUT TIME
checked into SNOW GIRL, who in turn checked onto MUSTANG NOVA. Leaving the 1st turn RATHNAIT
was tightened for racing room and lost ground. MUSTANG NOVA raced wide in the back
straight and into the top turn. IT’S
ABOUT TIME and GRAND ANGEL raced tight through the turn into the front
straight causing GRAND ANGEL to be momentarily impeded and lose ground. |

4/5th GRADE 520M Even start with the exception of RUMBLING JAKE and PORT
LISA who were slow to begin.
Approaching the turn out of the front straight SWEET KARMAR, GIFTED
ANGEL and MAYWYN’S COPY raced tight causing GIFTED ANGEL to become unbalanced
and lose ground. Approaching the turn
into the back straight MAYYWN’S COPY and GIFTED ANGEL checked. SWEET KARMAR and WOOLOOGA raced tight
leaving the turn into the front straight. |

JUST GREYHOUND PHOTOS
4/5th GRADE FINAL 431M Even start with the exception of BOGIE TEJAY which was
marginally slow. At the 1st
turn SNOWBALL OTTO and SWARAVSKI came together and checked. Leaving the 1st turn BOGIE TEJAY
stumbled and became unbalanced SURE SHOT who was trailing collided with BOGIE
TEJAY causing both greyhounds to be severely checked and lose any further
competitive chance in the race.
Approaching the top turn SNOWBALL OTTO was momentarily impeded behind
FARAHMAC and shifted out. FARAHMAC and
SNOWBALL OTTO raced tight over the concluding stages of the race, bumping on
occasion. |

GRADE 431M AIM, SOCIAL and COOL VANE were all
best to begin. Approaching the 1st
turn GEMMA BENZ, PEBBLE BAY, SPRING ELLIE and SPRING MYSTERY raced tight and
checked with SPRING ELLIE losing ground.
Leaving the 1st turn ROSDUE SPRITE was tightened for racing
room and lost ground. Approaching the
top turn SPRING MYSTERY and ROSDUE SPRITE raced tight and checked causing
both greyhounds to lose ground.
Leaving the turn into the home straight GEMMA BENZ was hampered and
stumbled as a result. |

GRADE HEAT 3 431M Even start with the exception of MADRE who was slow to
begin and BRONCO BOY who was extremely slow to begin. At the 1st turn FARMOR IN TIME
and SPRING SHELLEY came together and checked causing SPRING SHELLEY to become
unbalanced and lose ground. Leaving the
1st turn FARMOR IN TIME shifted out and impeded HOT. In the front straight SPRING SHELLEY was
momentarily impeded behind MADRE. |

5th GRADE HEAT 4 431M Even start with the exception of SPRING LOYAL and
CAWBOURNE BIGRED which were both slow.
In the 1st turn FLYING CIRCUS shifted out and checked RED
JUMPER who then collided with AERONA causing both greyhounds to lose
ground. IN the back straight FLYING
CIRCUS checked off the heels of SPRING ERNIE causing both greyhounds to
become unbalanced and lose ground. The greyhound AERONA underwent a post
race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |
