MAIDEN 431M Even
start with the exception of MR. LEO and ROSDUE LEON which were both
marginally slow to begin. On the 1st
turn LOCH ME UP, MR. LEO, RUBEUS, FULL OF TRICKS and ROSDUE LEON were all
tightened for racing room and checked to varying degrees. Entering the back straight MR. LEO checked
off heels and lost ground. Leaving the
back straight ROSDUE LEON was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Entering the front straight
LOCH ME UP and ROSDUE LEON collided resulting in LOCH ME UP to be severely
checked and lost considerable ground and ROSDUE LEON to be severely checked
and fall taking no further part in the race. The
greyhound LOCH ME UP underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. The
greyhound ROSDUE LEON underwent a post race veterinarian examination and was
found to have suffered an injury to the off side shoulder and was stood down
for a period of 10 days. |

SKY RACING MAIDEN 520M Even start.
Shortly after the start MANACLES and MONLEE collided. Shortly after FREE PRESS was tightened for
racing room, checked and lost ground.
Rounding the turn out of the front straight SPING THAT WHEEL was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground and shortly after collided
with MISS WILDWEST resulting in MISS WILDWEST to be severely checked and fall
taking no further part in the race and SPIN THAT WHEEL losing considerable
ground. MANACLES which was racing to
its outside was checked as a result of this incident and lost ground. The greyhound SPIN THAT WHEEL underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound MISS WILDWEST underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

NOVICE 520M ELOISE and
THUNDER OF FIRE were best to begin.
Shortly after the start GALWAY ALICE and PHANTOM HOUDINI
collided. Rounding the turn out of the
front straight GALWAY ALICE and PHANTOM HOUDINI collided. Entering the front straight PHANTOM HOUDINI
improved onto the heels of GALWAY ALICE and was momentarily hampered. |

TRUCK PARTS EXPRESS 5th GRADE 520M Even start with the exception of CELS EXPRESS which was
slow to begin. Rounding the turn out
of the front straight ZOU BISOU BISOU collided with DISCO DOLLY resulting in
DISCO DOLLY to be checked and lose ground.
DUDE PERFECT which was trailing was checked as a consequence and lost
ground. Rounding the turn into the
front straight PORT LISA and FROSTY AJAY collided resulting in both
greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.
In the front straight in the run to the finish FROSTY AJAY turned its
head outwards and eased. The greyhound CELS EXPRESS underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
side shoulder and was stood down for a period of 10 days. Stewards advised trainer Mr. R Attard that the greyhound
FROSTY AJAY would be charged under Rule 69 (B) Failing to Pursue with injury,
1st offence, 10 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all
tracks. The greyhound underwent a post
race veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the
near side wrist and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

Shortly after the start PRATER’S SAINT was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. Shortly after
LOGAN COUNTY and NAUGHTY JESS collided.
Through the 1st turn LOVED UP and YOU SLIPPY GYPSY
collided. Approaching the turn into
the back straight WILDASH WANDERER was tightened for racing room, checked,
shifted out and collided with LOVED UP which in turn shifted out and collided
with YOU SLIPPY GYPSY resulting in all greyhounds to be checked and lose
ground. |

COFFEE AT RONI’S 5th GRADE 431M Even start with the exception of LIL MISS PINKY which was
marginally slow to begin. Through the 1st turn ELING FEELING, THROTTLE
ON and ON THE RIZE were all tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Approaching the turn into the
back straight SAMANTHA BENZ and WILDASH DIVA collided resulting in WILDASH
DIVA to be checked and lose ground.

straight. |

Through the 1st turn NEW ABODE and PAN YOKO collided
resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. Entering the back straight AGRO’S THUNDER
was tightened for racing room, checked, shifted out and collided with ROAD CAM
resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. Leaving the back straight ROAD CAM checked
across heels and lost ground. |

RACING 4/5th GRADE 520M Even start with the exception of VEGAS
BOY and REBELLIOUS MAN which were both slow to begin. In the front straight on the 1st
occasion NINPIN shifted in which checked the running of NATURAL LAD causing
that greyhound to be checked and lose ground.
Shortly after NATURAL LAD and WHAT A MESS collided resulting in both
greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.
Approaching the turn into the back straight DONNY’S BEACH improved
onto the heels of BINTANG LAURIE and lost ground. Entering the back straight DONNY’S BEACH
was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. At the same time VEGAS BOY was tightened
for racing room, checked and lost ground. |

5th GRADE 431M ICONIC BEACH was best to begin. OUTBACK SUNSHINE was slow to begin. Shortly after the start BURNING OAK and
REGAL TRAV were both tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Through the 1st turn REGAL TRAV
and SENNI LUCILLE were tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. BURNING OAK, YOU JANE and
OUTBACK SUNSHINE which were trailing were all checked as a consequence and
lost ground. Entering the back
straight SENNI LUCILLE shifted out
which carried YOU JANE out onto OUTBACK SUNSHINE resulting in all greyhounds to
be checked and lose ground. |

5th GRADE 431M Even start with the exception of FONIC THUNDER and BIG
DIPPA which were both marginally slow to begin. Approaching the 1st turn TAZI BE
GOOD shifted out which hampered the running of NOIRE CHERIE and SPRING
BEK. On the 1st turn LAZZA
MANAZZA was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. At the same time FONIC THUNDER was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. The greyhound LAZZA MANAZZA underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |
