The greyhound STALKING MOON performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.74.

SPIN THAT WHEEL was best to begin with SONIC DUK slow.  Shortly after the start LAURASH ACTION, ROSDUE LEON, MAGIC OPULENCE and LOCH ME UP bumped.  In the 1st turn ROSDUE LEON, SONIC DUK and LOCH ME UP collided causing all greyhounds to be hampered.  Entering the front straight MAGIC OPULENCE clipped heels, shifted out and lost ground.

SKY RACING NOVICE 431M

The greyhound HOT underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found and passed fit to start.

 

HOT and SHOW ME JAKEY were best to begin with THANKING PETER marginally slow.  Leaving the 1st turn HOT was tightened for racing room causing THANKING PETER, FONIC THUNDER and MAYWYN OFTEN to be checked resulting in THANKING PETER and FONIC THUNDER to lose ground.  Leaving the top turn BIG HUEY was tightened for racing room and hampered.  In the back straight THANKING PETER and FONIC THUNDER were wide.

 

The greyhound THANKING PETER underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Even start with MISS WILDWEST best to begin.  Shortly after the start FROSTY BLACK JAY and GALWAY PANTHER were tightened for racing room causing GALWAY PANTHER to lose ground.  Approaching the 1st turn DIAMOND WINX shifted out colliding with MANACLES causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  Rounding the turn into the front straight GALWAY PANTHER clipped heels and lost ground.  In the back straight GALWAY PANTHER was wide.  In the front straight GALWAY PANTHER and FROSTY BLACK JAY were wide.

 

The greyhound GALWAY PANTHER underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

KAYPAT LODGE NOVICE 520M

Even start with MR. RALPH and GALWAY ALICE marginally slow.  Approaching the 1st turn HACIENDA hit the running rail and was hampered.  In the 1st turn SNOWBALL CREED shifted out and ran wide.  At the same time GALWAY ALICE clipped the heels of BRITTANY TALKS causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  Rounding the turn into the home straight WAZZA QUEEN and EBONNIE collided causing both greyhounds to be hampered.

 

The greyhound HACIENDA underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Even start with VEGAS BOY slow.  Shortly after the start SHAKEY SHOW was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Approaching the 1st turn SHAKEY SHOW hit the running rail, became unbalanced and lost ground.  In the back straight MAYWYN REWARDS was wide.  Entering the front straight LITTLE DOTTY TOO and SHE’S INYA FACE collided causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  In the front straight KNOCKA NOVA turned its head inwards making muzzle contact with LITTLE DOTTY TOO.

 

The greyhound SHAKEY SHOW underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Stewards advised trainer Mr. M Pearce that the greyhound KNOCKA NOVA would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks.

KEALOAH was best to begin with CELS EXPRESS marginally slow.  Approaching the 1st turn SCORCHING LUCY hit the running rail, shifted out checking SECRETIVE INTENT causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight SCORCHING LUCY and SECRETIVE INTENT collided causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  In the top turn SCORCHING LUCY was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  In the front straight MAYWYN OPALS raced wide.

 

The greyhound SCORCHING LUCY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

BOGIE TEEJAY was best to begin with TIM AND NIEL marginally slow.  Approaching the 1st turn ZHICHAO LEE was tightened for racing room and hampered.  In the 1st turn VOLKEY and CAPTAIN LOUIE collided causing TIM AND NIEL to be checked and TIM AND NIEL and VOLKEY lost ground.  In the back straight DOLLY’S WALLY and ZHICHAO LEE were wide.

 

The greyhound ZHICHAO LEE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

ELEGANT DUK was best to begin with LIL MISS PINKY marginally slow.  Shortly after the start CORYKODI and ELLY BYE BYE collided causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  In the 1st turn ROSDUE SPRITE and BIG SHOW HAWKO bumped.  At the same time ELLY BYE BYE and CORYKODI bumped.  In the back straight GALLON and LIL MISS PINKY were wide.  Approaching the top turn ROSDUE SPRITE and ELEGANT DUK collided causing GALLON and BIG SHOW HAWKO to be checked causing BIG SHOW HAWKO, ELEGANT DUK and GALLON to all lost ground.  Entering the home straight GALLON clipped the heels of LIL MISS PINKY causing both greyhounds to shift out and lose ground.

The greyhound WHAT A MESS underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Even start with SHAKEY RANDLE marginally slow.  In the 1st turn all greyhounds except GOTCHA MONEY collided causing all greyhounds to lose ground to differing degrees.  Rounding the turn into the back straight SHAKEY RANDLE, WHAT A MESS and KIA BE GOOD collided on numerous occasions causing all greyhounds to lose ground.
