start. Shortly after the start,
COCONUT LASS and WILLY TOULA collide, resulting in COCONUT LASS to be checked
and lose ground. Shortly after,
MANACLES, COCONUT LASS and LAYBACK LENNY race tight, resulting in all
greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.
Through the first turn, MANACLES, COCONUT LASS, LAYBACK LENNY,
IMPATIENT KID and KID SUNRISE all race tight, resulting in all greyhounds to
be checked and lose ground. In the
back straight, MINNIE BLUE and KID SUNRISE collide, resulting in both
greyhounds to be checked and to lose ground.

was best to begin. GALWAY ALICE and
STALKING MOON were marginally slow to begin.
Through the first turn, HYPO SHOW was tightened for race room, checked
and lost ground. GALWAY ALICE, WERINA
LIGHTNING and STALKING MOON, which were all trailing, were checked as a
consequence and lost ground. WERINA
LIGHTNING raced wide for the majority of the event. |

MIXED 3/4 520M Even start.
Leaving the front straight, DREAM BLASTER was tightened for race room,
shifted in and contacted the running rail and was checked as a
consequence. Shortly after it shifted
out collided heavily with PRATER’S SAINT and OH GOLLY GOSH, resulting in all
greyhounds to be checked, with PRATER’S SAING and OH GOLLY GOSH to lose
considerable ground. The greyhound DREAM BLASTER underwent a post race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound
PRATER’S SAINT underwent a post race veterinary examination and found to have
suffered an injury to the near side hip and was stood down for a period of 10
days. |

YOUNG GUNS IPS HEAT 1 520M Even start, with the exception of RED JUMPER which was
marginally slow to begin. Entering the
back straight, GLORIA’S CHOICE and SMALL JEWEL collide, resulting in SMALL
JEWEL to be checked and lose ground.
RED JUMPER, STANKEY LEG and GOOD DAZE AHEAD, which were all trailing,
were checked as a consequence with SMALL JEWEL losing considerable
ground. Leaving the back straight, STANKEY
LEG was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. GOOD DAZE AHEAD raced wide around the turn
into the front straight. The greyhound SMALL JEWEL underwent a post race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

of HIPSTER and DORREGO which were both marginally slow to begin. Through the first turn, HIPSTER and
THROTTLE ON collided, resulting in THROTTLE ON to be checked and lose
ground. DORREGO, which was trailing,
was checked as a consequence and lost ground.
Shortly after, DORREGO and SHOW ME JAKEY collide, resulting in both
greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.

PARTS EXPRESS 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 520M Even start, with the exception of SHADOW EDGE and MR RALPH which were
both marginally slow to begin.
Approaching the turn, out of the front straight, SHADOW EDGE was
tightened for race room and momentarily hampered. Rounding the turn out of the front
straight, SHADOW EDGE and SPORTFAN collided on a number of occasions,
resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. Approaching the turn into the front
straight, SHADOW EDGE was tightened for race room, checked and lost
ground. |

MIXED 4/5 431M Even start.
Shortly after the start, all runners with the exception of CAKE IT ON
and SECOND GEAR, raced tight resulting in BAZINGA BENZ to be severely
checked, fell, and took no further competitive part in the race. Approaching the turn into the front
straight, DOLLY’S WALLY was tightened for race room, checked and lost ground.
The greyhound BAZINGA BENZ underwent a post race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |
