Even start, with the exception of KID SUNRISE which was marginally slow to begin.  General tightening at the 1st turn, resulted in both CRUZ RAMIREZ and KID SUNRISE to check off heels and lose ground.  Approaching the turn into the back straight, MAGIC MALT was tightened for racing room, stumbled and shifted out.  KID SUNRISE, which was trailing, checked off the heels of MAGIC MALT and lost ground.  MINNIE BLUE, DRIVES ME CRAZY and MAGIC MALT raced wide at the turn into the front straight, and for the remainder of the race thereafter.

SIN CITY KITTY, BROTHER DESY, TURBO ROY and QUINTUS MAXIMUS came together and checked immediately after the start.  Leaving the turn into the back straight, SIN CITY KITTY improved onto the hindquarters of QUINTUS MAXIMUS, causing both greyhounds to lose significant ground. BROTHER DESY was also inconvenienced as a result of this contact and lost considerable ground.  Shortly after, BONITA DE KAHN was tightened for racing room and lost ground

SULZANTI @ STUD NOVICE 520M

HAYZE PURPLE was best to begin.  HERE TO THERE was very slow.  In the back straight, COOLAZAR and HERE TO THERE checked, causing COOLAZAR to lose ground.  IMPATIENT KID raced wide at the top turn and through the turn into the back straight. ASPEN VALLEY raced wide through the turn into the back straight and for the remainder of the race thereafter.

 

The greyhound COOLAZAR underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off hock and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

GARRARD’S HORSE & HOUND NOVICE 520M

Even start, with the exception of THIS IS LEGIT which was marginally slow to begin.  The entire field, apart from VIENNA CALLING and SNOWBALL CREED, raced tight and checked at the 1st turn, with all losing ground to varying degrees.  Approaching the top turn, BRASS ROAD was tightened for racing room, stumbled and lost ground.  Leaving the turn into the front straight, NIVEK RETSERROF shifted out and checked into DORIE’S PICK, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.

GLEN GALLON @ STUD 5th GRADE 520M

VIKING BUDDY was best to begin.  KANDAHAR PRINCE and RED VEE were both marginally slow.  At the 1st turn, RED VEE was tightened for racing room and brushed the running rail.  Shortly after, IRISH SPICE was tightened for racing room, became unbalanced and bumped into SPRING REINA.  Leaving the turn into the back straight, LUCKMAN checked off heels.  SPRING REINA, which was trailing, was impeded and lost ground.  Approaching the top turn, IRISH SPICE was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  SPRING REINA, which was trailing, was impeded as a result.

SKY RACING 0 – 3 WINS 600M

Even start.  Shortly after the start, LOGAN CITY checked off heels and shifted to the inside.  Approaching the 1st turn, FLYING SOVEREIGN checked off heels and lost ground.  Shortly after, PRATER’S SAINT, HOME LUCK and MR. RALPH raced tight and checked, resulting in PRATER’S SAINT and HOME LUCK to lose considerable ground.  PRATER’S SAINT raced wide into the front straight and for the remainder of the race thereafter. PRATER’S SAINT and HOME LUCK raced tight and bumped on occasion over the concluding stages of the race.

UBET – THE NEW TAB 5th GRADE FINAL 520M

GIFTED ANGEL was best to begin.  REACTOR was marginally slow.  At the 1st turn, GET SHORTY and SNOWBALL OTTO checked.  REACTOR, which was trailing collided into those greyhounds and fell as a consequence, taking no further competitive part in the race thereafter.  ALLPA MAMA, was also inconvenienced as a result of this contact, and lost ground.  Approaching the top turn, ALLPA MAMA checked off heels.

 

The greyhound GET SHORTY underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the near pin and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

 

The greyhound REACTOR underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound SNOWBALL OTTO underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

BRISGREYS.COM 3/4th GRADE 520M

STAR RISE was best to begin.  SECOND GEAR was marginally slow.  Leaving the 1st turn, general tightening resulted in STAR RISE checking off heels and losing ground.  Shortly after, SECOND GEAR was tightened for racing room and fell as a consequence, taking no further competitive part in the race thereafter.  TEE BE GOOD was inconvenienced as a result of this and lost ground.  FERNVALE RUBY and ROAD TO FLAME raced tight and bumped at the turn into the front straight.

 

The greyhound SECOND GEAR underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the off side wrist and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

The greyhound TEE BE GOOD underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

GLENREAGH SKUD and SPRING LOTTIE were both best to begin.  At the 1st turn, VIKING WHITE and GOOD GOLLY OLLY checked, causing GOOD GOLLY OLLY to shift out.  At the same time, WILDASH WAUCHOPE and SPRING LOTTIE checked, which caused interference to MONDELLA, HAD BETTER DAZE and GOLDEN STORM, causing all those greyhounds to lose ground to varying degrees.  Leaving the turn into the back straight, SPRING LOTTIE checked off heels and lost ground.  VIKING WHITE, which was trailing, checked off the heels of SPRING LOTTIE and lost ground as a result.  MONDELLA and HAD BETTER DAZE, which were trailing those greyhounds, were impeded and shifted wide as a result.  VIKING WHITE raced wide at the top turn, and continued to race wide for the remainder of the race thereafter.

TIPPING.BRISGREYS.COM 5th GRADE 520M

SIMPLY MAGIC was best to begin, GLENREAGH IKARA was slow. At the 1st turn BAILEY BE GOOD was tightened for racing room, checked off heels, then shifted out checking into CAWBOURNE BIGRED, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Leaving the turn into the back straight GLENREAGH IKARA checked off heels and lost considerable ground as a result. BAILEY BE GOOD raced wide in the back straight. BAILEY BE GOOD raced wide at the turn into the front straight and for the remainder of the race thereafter.

 

 

 

The greyhound BAILEY BE GOOD underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
