satisfactory stewards’ trial, over a distance of 431m, in a time of
25.54
and is now cleared to race all tracks.

MAIDEN – 431M Even
start, with the exception of KAY CEE SAZIA which was marginally slow to
begin. Shortly after the start, MY GAL
SAL, IT’S A CHARM and REX RYDER all raced tight, resulting in all greyhounds
to be checked and to lose ground.
Through the 1st turn, MY GAL SAL and REX RYDER collide,
resulting in MY GAL SAL to be checked and to lose ground. Shortly after, MY GAL SAL and IT’S A CHARM
collide, resulting in both greyhounds to be severely checked and to lose
considerable ground. In the back
straight, KAY CEE SAZIA and REX RYDER collide on a number of occasions,
resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and to lose ground. Approaching the turn into to the front
straight, IMPATIENT KID and LITTLE LUCK collide, resulting in LITTLE LUCK to
be checked and to lose ground.
Rounding the turn into the front straight, KAY CEE SAZIA checked off
heels and raced wide. MY GAL SAL,
which was trailing, was checked as a consequence and raced wide. The
greyhound IT’S A CHARM underwent a post race veterinary examination and was
found to have an injury to near side wrist and was stood down for a period of
14 days. |

SKY RACING
MAIDEN HEAT 1 – 520M NIKKI NETTLE was best to begin. Shortly after the start, LOOK AT ME shifted
out and checked across the heels of JACKSON STORM and lost ground as a
consequence. Rounding the turn out of
the front straight, MADAM KARMAR and JACKSON STORM collide, resulting in both
greyhounds to be checked and to lose ground.
LOOK AT ME, which was trailing, was checked as a consequence and raced
wide. Shortly after, MISS MAMIE and
RED HOT SPUR collide, resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and to lose
ground. JACKSON STORM and LOOK AT ME,
which were trailing, were both checked as consequence and lost ground. Entering the back straight, JACKSON STORM
and RED HOT SPUR collided on a number of occasions, resulting in both
greyhounds to be checked and to lose ground.
LOOK AT ME raced wide at various stages of the race. Entering the front straight, LADYLIKE GRACE
and JACKSON STORM collide, resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and to
lose ground. The greyhound MADAM KARMAR underwent a post race
veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the near hind toe
and was stood down for a period of 28 days |

SPIES was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the front
straight, BUTTERFLY IS SHE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Shortly after, BONITA DE KAHN
and DOUBLE SPUR raced wide.
Approaching the turn into the front straight, DOUBLE SPUR and GRU
collide, resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and to lose ground. Entering the front straight, BUTTERFLY IS
SHE and EARS UP collide. |

marginally slow to begin, and APOLLO’S WARRIOR which was slow to begin. Shortly after the start, BROKEN YOKE and
STEALTH KARMAR collide. Rounding the
turn out of the front straight, MY BOUQUET was tightened for racing room, checked
and lost ground. Leaving the back
straight, APOLLO’S WARRIOR was tightened for racing room momentarily
hampered. |

NOVICE – 431M Even start, with the exception
of MALUTKI and BLACK RUSKY, which were marginally slow to begin. LILLY PILLY LASS slipped on the mat,
shortly after the start, and was slow to begin. Through the 1st turn, KICKER
CREW and MALUTKI collide, resulting in MALUTKI to be checked and to lose
considerable ground. Shortly after,
KICKER CREW and WILLY TOULA collide, resulting in both greyhounds to be
checked and to lose ground. Entering
the back straight, BLACK RUSKY was tightened for racing room, checked and
lost ground. MALUTKI, which was
trailing, was checked as a consequence and lost ground. |

COFFEE AT RONI’S MIXED 4/5 – 431M Even start, with the exception of REGAL WAZ which was
slow to begin. Approaching the turn
into the back straight, PRINCESS EMALYS was tightened for racing room, checked
and lost ground. ELLY BYE BYE, DAY
TIME FRIEND and ZHICHAO LEE, which were racing to the outside of PRINCESS
EMALYS, were all checked as a result of this incident and lost ground. In the back straight, PRINCESS EMALYS and
BLUMENTRIT collide, resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and to lose
ground. Approaching the turn into the
front straight, REGAL WAZ checked across heels and lost ground. |

5TH GRADE HEAT 1 – 520M Even start.
Shortly after the start, DAISY DREAMS and IZY GOLD collide, resulting
in both greyhounds to be checked and to lose ground. Approaching the turn out of the front straight,
NASH TATO was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the front
straight, ELLA GRACIA checked off heels and raced wide, VOLKEY and IZY GOLD
were both checked as a result of this incident and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the front
straight, ROI LEAR KAHN was tightened for racing room, checked, fell and took
no further competitive part in the race. The greyhound NASH TATO underwent a
post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the near
side pin and was stood down for a period of 10 days. The greyhound ROI LEAR KAHN underwent
a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the
near hind webbing and was stood down for a period of 21 days. |

GRADE HEAT 2 – 520M VELOCITY
LINDER was best to begin. Shortly
after the start, BONKNOCKA LASS, MYONA MORPHEUS and BAD NEIGHBOUR were all
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the front
straight, CORY’S DIAMOND shifted out and collided with MR MICKEY resulting in
that greyhound to be severely checked and to lose considerable ground. Approaching the turn into the front
straight, BAD NEIGHBOUR improved onto the heels of SMALL JEWEL, resulting in
both greyhounds to be checked and to lose ground. |

5TH GRADE (1) – 431M Even start. Shortly after the start, BURNING OAK was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Through the 1st turn, BURNING
OAK and LITE ME UP collide, resulting in LITE ME UP to be checked and to lose
ground. Entering the back straight,
REGAL TRAV was tightened for racing room, checked, shifted out and lost
ground. DORREGO, which was racing to
its outside, was checked as a consequence and lost ground. Leaving the back straight, BURNING OAK |

5TH GRADE (2) – 431M Even start.
Through the 1st turn, BENTAXLE commenced to give ground and
retired from the event. Leaving the
back straight, BROTHER TREVOR was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Shortly after, BROTHER TREVOR
contacted the heels of MJOLINER, resulting in that greyhound to be checked
and to lose ground. Rounding the turn
into the front straight, MR. RALPH turned his head inwards toward the
direction of KIA BE GOOD and lost ground.
In the front straight, MR. RALPH shifted in, turning its head and made
muzzle contact with KIA BE GOOD, effectively marring that greyhounds running
and causing it to lose ground. The greyhound BENTAXLE underwent a post race veterinary
examination and was found to have an injury to the near side hip and was stood
down for a period of 21 days. Stewards’ advised trainer, Mr Kerry Ollerton, that the
greyhound MR. RALPH would be charged under Rule 69, Marring 1st
Offence, 28 days and must perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial, 431m all
tracks. . |
