MAIDEN – 431M Even
start. In the 1st turn, all
greyhounds except ASPEN VALLEY and BELLA’S SPECIAL collided, causing all
greyhounds to lose ground at differing degrees. Rounding the turn into the back straight,
FARMOR EFFECTED and LYNNY’S HONEY bumped, causing all greyhounds to lose
ground. Entering the back straight,
BLUE GIRL BLUE, ZABDON VEYRON, FARMOR EFFECTED, SPRING RUBY and BONNY DOON
BLAZE collided, causing all greyhounds to be hampered. Leaving the top turn, LYNNY’S HONEY shifted
out, checking FARMOR EFFECTED and BLUE GIRL BLUE, causing all greyhounds to
lose ground. |

431M PETITE FORM was best to begin, with ZABDON ZINGER
slow. In the 1st turn,
FANCY A BOHERNA clipped heels and was hampered. Entering the back straight, ROSDUE LIVE
WIRE and ZABDON ZINGER collided, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Rounding the turn into the home straight,
FANCY A BOHERNA clipped heels, shifted out and lost ground. |

marginally slow. In the 1st
turn HAZE PURPLE clipped heels and was hampered, at the same time, SPRING
SAL, VIENNA CALLING and WILLY TOULA collided, causing SPRING COLLEEN and
TURBO ROY to be checked, resulting in SPRING COLLEEN and TURBO ROY to lose
ground. The greyhound HAZE PURPLE underwent a post-race veterinary examination
and no apparent injuries were found. |

TRUCK PARTS EXPRESS NOVICE (2) – 431M Even start with SNOW GIRL best to begin. Shortly after the start, VELOCITY DEFINA
and SWINGIN’ NANNY collided, causing both greyhounds to be hampered. In the 1st turn, BONNY DOON GEE,
SWINGIN’ NANNY, ZABDON CHARLIE and SNOW GIRL collided, causing BRAYSTONES
BEACH to be checked, resulting in BRAYSTONES BEACH, SWINGIN’ NANNY and ZABDON
CHARLIE to lose ground. Rounding the
turn into the back straight, UMBREON was tightened for racing room and
hampered. Entering the top turn,
VELOCITY DELFINA and SWINGIN’ NANNY bumped. Entering the turn into the front straight,
UMBREON clipped heels and was hampered. |

MIXED 4/5 GRADE HEAT 1 – 431M BLACK KOALA and BARNEY’S BOUNTY were best to begin. Shortly after the start, JUST LIKE YAZZA
and DOUBLE OAK bumped. In the 1st
turn, DOUBLE OAK and WHEATACRE bumped, causing WHEATACRE to be hampered. Rounding the turn into the back straight,
WHEATACRE and JUST LIKE YAZZA collided, causing WHEATACRE to lose
ground. In the top turn, BARNEY’S
BOUNTY and RIKASSO LILLY collided, causing both greyhounds to shift out and
lose ground. Rounding the turn into
the front straight, BLACK KOALA and BARNEY’S BOUNTY collided, causing RIKASSO
LILLY to be checked and all greyhounds to be hampered. Entering the front straight, BARNEY’S
BOUNTY and JUST LIKE YAZZA collided, causing both greyhounds to be
hampered. |

COFFEE AT RONI’S MIXED 4/5 GRADE HEAT 2 – 431M NEW ABODE was best away.
Shortly after the start, FRANKA, PRATER’S ACE and ODESSA bumped. In the 1st turn, NEW ABODE and
PRECIOUS SAL both raced tight, causing NEW ABODE to be hampered. In the front straight, PRATER’S ACE and
FLASH GEE raced wide. Stewards’ questioned licensed trainer, Mr S Lockhart,
about the performance of the greyhound, FRANKA, where he stated that the
greyhound would not continue to race over the longer distance. He also stated he did not support the
greyhound The greyhound FRANKA underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. . |

MIXED 4/5 GRADE HEAT 3 – 431M Even start.
Shortly after the start, MULROONEY, WILDASH TOM, CAPTAIN’S KNOCK and
SHAKEY RANDLE raced tight, causing all greyhounds to be hampered. Leaving the 1st turn, MULROONEY
clipped heels and lost ground. In the
back straight, MULROONEY was wide.
Leaving the top turn, BUNDY BUCKS and MISS SHRAPNEL bumped. |

SKY
RACING 5TH GRADE FINAL – 431M Even start. Shortly after the start, FIRE TO RAIN and
MISS AMELIA collided, causing FIRE TO RAIN to lose ground. In the 1st turn, VELOCITY ONYX,
MISS AMELIA, NO LAYING BACK, TWIN GALAXY and FARAHMAC all raced tight,
causing all greyhounds to be hampered.
Rounding the turn into the back straight, NO LAYING BACK and VELOCITY
ONYX collided, causing VELOCITY ONYX to fall and give no further competitive
part in the race, resulting TWIN GALAXY and FARAHMAC to be checked with both
greyhounds losing ground. The greyhound VELOCITY ONYX underwent
a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the off
fore toe and was stood down for a period of 10 days

MIXED 4/5 GRADE HEAT 4 – 431M Even start, with VEGAS BOY marginally slow. Leaving the 1st turn, MY
GLORIOUS GAL and SPRING LOTTIE collided, causing both greyhounds to lose
ground. Rounding the turn into the
back straight, AUGUST FLAME, DAY TIME FRIEND and BENNE FORTUNA collided,
causing BENNE FORTUNA and DAY TIME FRIEND to lose ground. Entering the back straight, VEGAS BOY
clipped heels and lost ground. |

MIXED 4/5 GRADE HEAT 5 – 431M FLASH FLOW JOE was best to begin. Shortly after the start
SECRETIVE INTENT, KIRKHAM ZOEY and TUNDRA STORM collided causing all
greyhounds to lose ground. In the 1st turn ZOU BISOU BISOU, MAM’S
MAGIC, YOU JANE and FARMOR IN TUNE all raced tight resulting in SECRETIVE
INTENT and KIRKHAM ZOEY to be checked causing YOU JANE, SECRETIVE INTENT and
KIRKHAM ZOEY lost ground. Entering the back straight ZOU BISOU BISOU and
MAM’S MAGIC collided causing ZOU BISOU BISOU to lose ground. Approaching the
top turn KIRHAM ZOEY turned its head outwards but did not make muzzle contact.
YOU JANE and KIRKHAM ZOEY raced wide in the front straight. Stewards’ advised trainer, Mr S Lockhart, that the
greyhound, KIRKHAM ZOEY, would be charged under Rule 69 A, Failing to Pursue
1st Offence, 28 days + satisfactory stewards’ trial all tracks,
431m. The greyhound KIRKHAM ZOEY underwent a post race veterinary examination
and no apparent injuries were found The greyhound MAM’S MAGIC underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. . |
