RACE 1 was delayed by 2 (two) races because of technical issues.

The finish links camera was broken and the judge was assisted by a steward to judge the race1 and 2

 

BLUE GIRL BLUE was best to begin, with CLICK COWAN marginally slow.  Shortly after the start, ORANGE OAK ROAD, MISS EMMY and BLUE GIRL BLUE collided, causing ORANGE OAK ROAD hampered.  In the 1st turn, ORANGE OAK ROAD clipped heels and lost ground.  In the front straight, LITTLE LUCK and MISS EMMY raced wide.

SKY RACING MAIDEN – 431M

 

DECADENT ENOUGH was best to being with ZABDON ZINGER marginally slow. In the 1st turn DECADENT ENOUGH and RAPID MAIL bumped. In the back straight DECADENT ENOUGH and LET’S WIN BILLY collided causing DECADENT ENOUGH to lose ground.

 

The greyhound DECADENT ENOUGH underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Stewards’ advised trainer, Ms K Raines, that the greyhound, DECADENT ENOUGH, would be charged under Rule 69 (a) Failing to Pursue, 1st Offence, 28 days and must perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial 431m all tracks.

SMART WERINA was best to begin, with WERINA LIGHTNING marginally slow.  Shortly after the start, WILLY TOULA, MAYWYN OFTEN, HAVANA BLACK and JOHN’S CHOICE raced tight, causing HAVANA BLACK to lose ground.  In the 1st turn, NIVEK RETSERROF and JOHN’S CHOICE collided, causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  In the front straight, WERINAL LIGHTNING and HAVANA BLACK raced wide.

JUST GREYHOUNDS PHOTOS 5TH GRADE – 520M

 

Even start with DUDE PERFECT marginally slow. Approaching the finishing line MAYWYN EMERALDS eased.

 

The greyhound WESTERN HONEY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound MAYWYN EMERALDS underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound WESTERN HONEY  underwent a 2nd post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the off side hock and was stood down for a period of 14 days.

 

Stewards’ advised trainer, Mr Robert Essex, that the greyhound MAYWYN EMERALDS would be charged under Rule 71, Unsatisfactory Performance, and must perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks.

Even start.  Shortly after the start, STANKY LEG, LOZZA’S TROUBLE and DONNY’S BEACH raced tight, causing STANKY LEG and LOZZA’S TROUBLE to be hampered.  In the 1st turn, IT’S DYLLAN clipped heels of DOLLAR AND CENT, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  Rounding the turn into the back straight, CYCLONE BARCI and MISS DENLYN collided, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  IT’S DYLLAN and STANKY LEG collided, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.

GJ WALSH & CO MASTERS FINAL – 431M

BROOKLYN SKYE was best to begin, with FROSTY BEJAY marginally slow.  In the 1st turn, SMASHNIAK MARCY got onto the hindquarters of NOOREE DESSA, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  In the back straight, FROSTY BEJAY and NOOREE DESSA collided, causing both greyhounds to be hampered.

Even start.  In the 1st turn, ZHICHAO LEE, BURNING OAK, RED VEE and ANOTHER RED all raced tight, causing ZHICHAO LEE, BURNING OAK and ANOTHER RED to lose ground.  Rounding the turn of the back straight, BOOMWAH and FABRIQUE collided, causing BOOMWAH to lose ground.

ZABDON FERRARI AT STUD MIXED 4/5 – 630M

Even start.  In the 1st turn, CHIPPIES clipped heels and lost ground.  Entering the front straight, on the 1st occasion, KNOCKER KNOCK clipped heels and was hampered.  Rounding the turn out of the front straight, on the 1st occasion, MAGIC BARB and SORRENTO shifted out collided, and both greyhounds lost ground.

Even start, with MR MICKEY and SHORT STOP marginally slow.  In the 1st turn, RULE THE ROAD, WIGGLE, HYPO SHOW and SHOW ME JAKEY all raced tight, causing all greyhounds to be hampered.  Rounding the turn in the back straight, RULE THE ROAD, HYPO SHOW and SURE SHOT collided, causing all greyhounds to lose ground.  Rounding the turn in the home straight, MR MICKEY and RULE THE ROAD bumped.  In the home straight, SURE SHOT and SHOW ME JAKEY collided, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  Approaching the finishing line, EYE THAT GIRL eased and turned its head outwards not making any muzzle contact. 

 

The greyhound EYE THAT GIRL underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Stewards’ advised trainer, Mr T Zammit, that the greyhound, EYE THAT GIRL, would be charged under Rule 69(a), Failing to Pursue, 1st Offence, 28 days and must perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial over 431m all tracks.

BARNEY BE GOOD was best to begin, with PANTERA NEGRA slipping on the matting, causing the greyhound to be hampered.  Shortly after the start, ROAD CAM, SHE’S MY LADY and ENOUGH KNOWLEDGE collided, causing all greyhounds to be hampered.  In the 1st turn, SHE’S MY LADY and GITCHA ALLEY collided, causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  Leaving the 1st turn, MISSED CONTROL and PANTERA NEGRA raced tight, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. 

 

The greyhound PANTERA NEGRA underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
