1.

WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM MAIDEN HEAT 1 – 431M

CHIEF SNOW was best to begin.  In the 1st turn, all greyhounds, except CHIEF SNOW, collided, causing all greyhounds to lose ground at differing degrees.  In the front straight, ROSDUE LIVE WIRE clipped heels and was hampered.

SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 – 431M

HAY BILLY and BONITA DE KAHN were best to begin, with TOPDECK DUK marginally slow.  Rounding the turn of the back straight, MIA’S KARMAR clipped heels and lost ground.  Entering the front straight, NOIRE DREAM shifted out colliding with MIA’S KARMAR, causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  In the front straight, NOIRE DREAM and MIA’S KARMAR raced wide.

SISTER KIRSTY was best to begin with BRAXTON HAYZE was marginally slow. Shortly after the start GOTCHA MOCHA, ROSDUE BARISTA and BLACKED OUT raced tight and all greyhounds were hampered. BLACKED OUT and GOTCHA MOCHA collided causing both to lose ground. In the front straight RED HOT GOSSIP turned its head inwards making muzzle contact.

 

The greyhound BLACKED OUT underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Stewards’ advised trainer, Ms C Dargusch, that the greyhound RED HOT GOSSIP would be charged under Rule 69, Marring 1st Offence, 28 days and must perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial, 431m all tracks.

ALPHA 390 FINANCE NPW – 431M

SNOW GIRL was best to begin.  Shortly after the start, DRUID PRINCE and BLACK KOALA bumped, causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  In the back straight, NOVEMBER FLYER and FULL OF TRICKS bumped, causing NOVEMBER FLYER to be hampered.  Rounding the turn in the front straight, NOVEMBER FLYER clipped heels and lost ground.

Even start, with GALWAY PANTHER marginally slow.  Shortly after the start, GOLDEN STORM was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  In the 1st turn, RUBY HAYZE, SASSY OAKS and MALUTKI collided, causing all greyhounds to lose ground.  In the front straight, GALWAY PANTHER raced wide.

 

The greyhound MAD GIRL underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the off near side hip and was stood down for a period of 14 days

TRUCK PARTS EXPRESS 5TH GRADE (1) – 431M

Even start.  Shortly after the start, MADAM LOOPSY was tightened for racing room and hampered.  In the 1st turn, all greyhounds collided, causing DESERT CHILD and SPRING ERNIE to lose ground, and BARNEY’S BOUNTY to fall giving no further competitive part in the race.  In the front straight, ZAHARA DYE raced wide

 

The greyhound BARNEY’S BOUNTY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Even start, with HARA’S HORNET and SHOW BEKIM marginally slow.  In the 1st turn all greyhounds, except SHOW BEKIM, raced tight, causing all greyhounds to lose ground at differing degrees.  In the back straight, ARABIAN SHREDDER and SHOW BEKIM collided, causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  In the top turn, ARABIAN SHREDDER and SHOW BEKIM collided, causing ARABIAN SHREDDER to lose ground.

 

The greyhound ARABIAN SHREDDER underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Even start.  Shortly after the start, ILLAWONG COWGIRL and HARA’S SAM bumped.  In the 1st turn, ILLAWONG COWGIRL, HARA’S SAM and GIFTED ANGEL shifted out, collided and all lost ground.

LA BAMBA and CAPTAIN LOUIE were best to begin, with BIG PRINCE and HARA’S HOOK marginally slow.  In the 1st turn, BIG PRINCE, SWARAVSKI and HARA’S HOOK collided, causing all greyhounds to lose ground.

KAWATI SON was best to begin, with HARA’S HUMMER marginally slow.  Rounding the 1st turn, SPRING SHELLEY and MADRE bumped.  In the back and front straight, YOU JANE ran wide.
