Best away was NIKKI NETTLE and IZY MAGIC, with the rest evenly away.  Entering the turn out of the home straight, WONDERLAND shifted out checking IZY MAGIC and BROTHER DESY.  Entering the back straight, INFRARED LASS checked off the heels of IZY MAGIC.  In the home straight, BROTHER DESY was wide. 

 

The greyhound NIKKI NETTLE underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Best away was SAINTLY BONUS, ROUGH ODDS and NIVEK RETSERROF, with WERINA LIGHTNING and CRAZY BELLA slowly away.  Entering the turn out of the home straight, ROSE HONEY checked off the heels of CRAZY BELLA, causing ROSE HONEY to race wide on the turn.  Entering the back straight, ROUGH ODDS and CRAZY BELLA collide.  In the back straight, ROSE HONEY was wide.  Entering the home straight, ROSE HONEY and CRAZY BELLA collide, with WERINA LIGHTNING wide in the home straight

 

The greyhound ROSE HONEY underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Best away was POWER SERVICE and BRIGHTEST STAR, with the rest evenly away.  Entering the turn out of the home straight, FARMOR IN TUNE checked off the heels of HI CLASS BELLE, causing those two greyhounds to race wide on the turn.  In the back straight, BRIGHTEST STAR was wide, and in the home straight DOLLY’S WALLY was wide. 

 

The greyhound FARMOR IN TUNE  underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the near wrist and was stood down for a period of 7 days

Best away was BIG BAD BOB, with MONBO BEACH and KULU TUPPENCE slowly away.  On the turn out of the home straight, and into the back straight, KULU TUPPENCE was wide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight, MONBO BEACH checked off the heels of DRAW THE WHIP.  In the home straight, PROPER GENT was wide. 

 

Connections of BIG BAD BOB were questioned by stewards and they stated that the greyhound has been freshened up and is capable of running up to that time.

GJ WALSH & CO 5TH GRADE (3) - 520M

Best away was MAN OF LEISURE and DREAM BLASTER, with the rest evenly away.  Soon after the start, DOLLAR AND CENT shifted out checking DIRECT TERROR.  Entering the turn out of the home straight, DOLLAR AND CENT, DIRECT TERROR and MYONA MORPHEUS all collide.  On the turn out of the home straight, SOFT SAND was wide.  Entering the back straight, IT’S DYLLAN checked off the heels of DREAM BLASTER. In the home straight, DREAM BLASTER was wide.

 

The greyhound MRS POLETTI underwent 2 x post race veterinary examinations, with the 1st inspection finding no apparent injury, and with the 2nd inspection, the greyhound was found to have a back strain injury and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

Even start, with ENJOY THE SHOW and SMART MARLOW slowly away.  Approaching the winning post on the 1st occasion, ENJOY THE SHOW and SMART MARLOW collide.  Entering the turn out of the home straight, MAURICE MINOR checked off the heels of SPLENDIFEROUS, causing MAURICE MINOR to shift out checking ENJOY THE SHOW, causing ENJOY THE SHOW to drop back sharply.  In the back straight, MAYWYNS NOISE was wide.

 

The greyhound ENJOY THE SHOW underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
