and BLUE GIRL BLUE were both best to begin.
ZABDON ZINGER and SHAKEY TIMES were both marginally slow. Leaving the 1st turn COCONUT
LASS was tightened for racing room and checked off heels, losing considerable
ground as a result. SHAKEY TIMES which
was trailing, collided heavily into COCONUT LASS, with both greyhounds losing
substantial ground and any competitive chance in the race thereafter. Approaching the top turn MAGIC MALT checked
off heels and lost ground. Rounding
the turn into the front straight, COCONUT LASS checked off heels and shifted
out sharply as a consequence. The greyhound
COCONUT LASS underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent
injuries were found. |

SKY RACING NOVICE –
431M SMART WERINA was best to begin, HAD BETTER DAZE and
MAYWYN’S NOMAD were both marginally slow.
In the back straight HAD BETTER DAZE shifted out and bumped into
MAYWYN’S NOMAD. Approaching the top
turn, MAYWYN’S NOMAD checked off the heels of HAD BETTER DAZE, causing both
greyhounds to lose momentum and ground as a result. Approaching the turn into the front
straight HAD BETTER DAZE checked off heels and shifted wide as a consequence.
The greyhound HAD BETTER DAZE underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

5TH GRADE HEAT 1 – 431M MUSTANG NOVA was best to begin with GLORIA’S CHOICE
marginally slow. Leaving the 1st
turn LIL MISS PINKY was tightened for racing room and lost ground, GLORIA’S
CHOICE which was trailing, was inconvenienced as a result. Approaching the top turn SHOW ME JAKEY was
tightened for racing room and lost ground.

TRUCK PARTS EXPRESS 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 – 431M LEST WE was best to begin,
BLACK KOALA and STICKY STICKA were both marginally slow and checked shortly
after the start. Approaching the 1st
turn PAY THE WAY was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Shortly after STICKY STICKA came into
contact with the running rail and lost substantial ground as a
consequence. Leaving the turn into the
back straight HYPO SHOW stumbled, becoming unbalanced and lost ground. Leaving the turn into the front straight,
PAY THE WAY shifted out and bumped into WILDASH WILLOW. The greyhound STICKY STICKA
underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were
found. The greyhound PAY THE WAY
underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a split
webbing injury to the left foreleg and was stood down for a period of 14 days |

GRADE HEAT 3 – 431M ODESSA was best to begin with PRATER’S ACE slow. Rounding the 1st turn BAILEY BE GOOD and
SPRING LOTTIE raced tight and checked, causing SPRING LOTTIE to lose ground
as a result. BAILEY BE GOOD and RULE
THE ROAD raced wide in the back straight.
Leaving the turn into the front straight, RULE THE ROAD was
momentarily impeded and shifted wide as a result. |

COFFEE AT RONI’S 5TH GRADE HEAT 4 – 431M Even start.
WILDASH TOM and WHITE EAGLE checked shortly after the start. At the 1st turn BLUMENTRIT
shifted in making contact with JOHN’S CHOICE, causing BLUMENTRIT to stumble
and lose ground as a consequence.
WILDASH TOM raced very wide through the 1st turn. WILDASH TOM raced wide through the turn
into the front straight and for the remainder of the race thereafter. |

MIXED 3/4 – 431M MAM’S MAGIC and ANOTHER RED were both marginally slow to
begin. Approaching the 1st
turn ZHICHAO LEE and ANOTHER RED raced tight and bumped on occasion. ANOTHER RED and COSMO TRAV bumped at the 1st
turn. Approaching the top turn, NIGHT
TIME LOVER, MAM’S MAGIC, SPRING ROY and CALL ME AUSSIE raced tight and
checked, with NIGHT TIME LOVER and CALL ME AUSSIE losing significant ground
as a consequence. ZHICHAO LEE and COSMO TRAV which were trailing, were
inconvenienced and shifted wide.

RACING 4/5 GRADE FINAL – 431M CASH FLOW JOE was best to begin,
KINGSBRAE HARLEY was marginally slow.
Approaching the top turn CASH FLOW JOE was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost significant ground.
AUGUST FLAME which was trailing, was inconvenienced as a consequence
and lost momentum. Approaching the
turn into the front straight, PRINCESS EMALYS stumbled and checked into
KINGSBRAE HARLEY, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. PRINCESS EMALYS and KINGSBRAE HARLEY raced
tight and bumped prior to the finish. |

5TH GRADE HEAT 5 – 431M WILDASH BAMBAM and FOXY BE GOOD were both best to begin,
with MYONA ROSE marginally slow.
Approaching the 1st turn IRON MAIDEN and NO LAYING BACK
raced tight and checked. NO LAYING
BACK raced wide in the back straight then shifted in approaching the top turn,
checking heavily with IRON MAID, causing both greyhounds to lose considerable
ground as a result. IRON MAID raced
wide through the turn into the front straight. The greyhound WILDASH BAMBAM underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

MA5 – 431M KEAVY was best to begin with WIGGLE marginally slow. Approaching the turn into the back straight
HERE FOR YOU checked off heels and lost ground. Shortly after AERONA was tightened for
racing room and lost ground. DORREGO
raced wide through the turn into the back straight and also in the back
straight. AERONA commenced to yield ground from the back straight onwards and
took no further competitive part in the race thereafter. DORREGO raced wide through the turn into
the front straight. The greyhound AERONA underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and was found to have an injury to the near hip and was stood
down for a period of 21 days. The greyhound HERE FOR YOU underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the near fore foot
and was stood down for a period of 7 days |
