The greyhound PHANTOM PETE performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trial, over a distance of 520m, in a time
of 30.78 and is cleared to race all tracks.
The greyhound LEST WE performed a satisfactory
stewards’ trial, over a distance of 520m, in a time of 31.90,
and is
cleared to race all tracks, except Albion Park.

and REAL JAZZ were best to begin.
ANGELS ARE REAL and KIMARI MARIA were slow. Leaving the turn into the back straight
NOIRE DREAM shifted in checking into PHANTOM ROAD, causing NOIRE DREAM to
lose considerable ground as a consequence.
KIMARI MARIA, PHANTOM ROAD and NOIRE DREAM raced wide through the turn
into the front straight. |

SKY RACING MAIDEN
HEAT 2 – 431M KENATAY muzzle was partly dislodged immediately after the
start. FANCY A BOHERNA and RUBEUS were
both marginally slow to begin. Leaving
the turn into the back straight, FANCY A BOHERNA checked off heels and lost
ground. Shortly after, BONITA DE KAHN
stumbled and lost ground. Leaving the
top turn, RUBEUS was tightened for racing room and lost ground. |

MAIDEN FINAL – 431M SHE’S A SORT
and CHIEF SNOW were best to begin.
Approaching the turn into the back straight, SPRING TOBY checked off
heels and lost ground. Leaving the
turn into the back straight, WILL EYE AM checked off heels and lost
ground. HARA’S SKYLAH and SPRING TOBY,
which were trailing, were inconvenienced as a result and lost considerable
ground as a consequence. |

ALPHA 390 FINANCE
NOVICE – 431M Even start. At the
1st turn, WHO SAID SO was tightened for racing room, checked and
lost ground. SPRING COLLEEN, ROSDUE
BARISTA and VELOCITY DELFINA, which were trailing, were all inconvenienced
and lost ground to varying degrees.
Approaching the top turn, WHO SAID SO, ROSDUE BARISTA and VELOCITY
DELFINA raced tight and checked, causing all to lose substantial ground as a
result. |

431M VELOCITY ZARIN, VALKYRIE NIGHT and WILDASH NITRO were all
best to begin. IRISH SPICE was
slow. Leaving the turn into the back
straight, VALKYRIE BLUE and WILDASH NITRO were tightened for racing room and
lost ground. Approaching the top turn,
KIA BE GOOD and VELOCITY ZARIN collided, causing KIA BE GOOD to lose
significant ground as a result.
VALKYRIE NIGHT and WILDASH NITRO raced wide through the turn into the
front straight. The greyhound VELOCITY ZARIN underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

KAYPAT LODGE 5TH GRADE (1) – 431M SPRING WATTLE, IRON MAID and HARA’S HORNET were best to
begin. SPRING WATTLE shifted in at the
1st turn and collided with HARA’S HORNET, causing HARA’S HORNET to
be checked and lose ground. BAILEY BE
GOOD and IRON MAID, which were trailing, were inconvenienced as a
consequence, causing IRON MAID to lose considerable ground. BAILEY BE GOOD and IRON MAID raced wide in
the back straight. In the top turn,
NATTY’S ON FIRE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. |

5TH GRADE (2) – 431M FOXY BE GOOD was best to begin. HARA’S HUMMER was slow. The entire field, apart from FOXY BE GOOD,
raced tight and checked at the 1st turn. Leaving the turn into the back straight,
WILDASH WAUCHOPE checked off heels and lost ground. Approaching the top turn, VIKING BUDDY
checked off heels and lost ground as a result. Shortly after, SPRING GARY checked off
heels and lost ground. |

STERNBERG VET SURGEON MIXED 4/5 – 520M NINPIN was best to begin. RATHNAIT was slow. Approaching the turn into the back
straight, NINPIN checked off heels and lost ground. Approaching the top turn, GILBERT GRAPE was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. RATHNAIT and ZIPPING AUSTIN, which were
trailing, were impeded and lost significant ground as a result. |

5TH GRADE (3) – 431M SUDOKU DOLL was very slow to begin. SASSY OAKS, SPING IVAN, WHIPPY MIDGET and
BLAZIN’ BLUE raced tight and checked at the 1st turn, causing all
to lose ground to varying degrees, especially BLAZIN’ BLUE which lost
significant ground as a consequence.
In the back straight, SPRING IVAN and WHIPPY MIDGET checked, causing
WHIPPY MIDGET to lose ground.
Approaching the turn into the front straight, JOHN’S CHOICE improved
onto the heels of CATCH ME KEITH, causing both greyhounds to lose
momentum. SASSY OAKS, which was
trailing, collided into the rear of CATCH ME KEITH and lost substantial
ground and any further competitive chance in the race thereafter The greyhound SASSY OAKS underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. . |

SKY RACING 5PW – 431M OLD MOON MADNESS was marginally slow to begin. The entire field, apart from OLD MOON
MADNESS and PARIS QUEEN raced tight and checked at the 1st turn,
with WAIKARIE SYLVIE, SPRING LEMON and WAYCOL BILL losing considerable
ground, and also causing SENNI LUCILLE to shift out and lose considerable
ground as a consequence. WAYCOL BILL
commenced to yield ground shortly after and took no further competitive part
in the race thereafter. The greyhound WAYCOL BILL underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near
side hock and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |
