Stewards’ Trial |
The greyhound, NITRO NIC, performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trial, over a distance of 431m, in a time of 25.87,
and was
cleared to race all tracks except Wauchope.
The greyhound, WILDASH PEBBLES, performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trail, over a distance of 431m, in a
time of 26.55
and is cleared to race all tracks.
The greyhound, WILDASH THUNDER, failed to
perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial, and must perform
another trial in the future.

MAIDEN – 431M ZABDON VEYRON
was best to begin. LAURASH ACTION was
slow. Leaving the turn into the back
straight, SPRING TOBY was tightened for racing room and lost ground. FANCY A BOHERNA, which was trailing,
checked off heels as a consequence and lost ground. FROSTY BLACK JAY raced wide through the
turn into the home straight. |

SKY RACING NOVICE –
431M BONDI GIRL and ZABDON CHARLIE were both best to
begin. BONDI GIRL raced wide in the
back straight. Approaching the top
turn, UMBREON checked off heels and lost ground. Leaving the turn into the front straight,
ZABDON CHARLIE and SPRING RUBY checked, causing SPRING RUBY to become
unbalanced and lose ground as a result.
FULL OF TRICKS was impeded and shifted inside just prior to the
finish. |

GREYHOUND_DATA.COM MA5 – 431M BROOKLYN SKYE
and WIGGLE were best to begin. At the
1st turn, the entire field raced tight, with BROOKLYN SKYE losing
ground as a consequence. Shortly
after, BARNEY’S BOUNTY checked off heels and lost considerable ground. At the top turn, BROOKLYN SKYE checked off
heels and lost ground. ZABDON LAMBO
raced wide through the turn into the front straight. The greyhound
BROOKLYN SKYE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent
injuries were found. The greyhound
COSMIC REVENGE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to
have sustained an injury to the off hind toenail and was stood down for a period
of 10 days. |

4TH GRADE – 431M GALLON was slow to begin.
VALKYRIE NIGHT, VIKING BUDDY and ELLY BYE BYE checked immediately
after the start. Approaching the 1st
turn, VALKYRIE NIGHT checked into JIGGLE SPLAT, which in turn, checked onto
COSMO TRAV which was racing to its outside, causing COSMO TRAV to stumble and
lose ground. Leaving the turn into the
back straight, JIGGLE SPLAT checked off heels and lost ground. At the top turn, GALLON was tightened for
racing room, checked, and lost ground.
VIKING BUDDY, ELLY BYE BYE and JIGGLE SPLAT, were impeded as a
consequence of that contact and lost momentum. VALKYRIE NIGHT raced wide through the turn
into the home straight, and for the remainder of the race thereafter. VIKING BUDDY and ELLY BYE BYE raced tight
and bumped at the turn into the front straight. The greyhound GALLEON underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off fore leg and
was stood down for a period of 7 days |

CITY
COUNTRY FOOD SERVICE 5TH GRADE (1) – 431M CAWBOURNE BIGRED was slow to begin. JUST LIKE YAZZA and WILDASH WILLOW raced
tight and bumped approaching the the1st turn. At the 1st turn, BLUMENTRIT
shifted out and checked into INNAMINCKA causing both greyhounds to lose
ground as a result. WILDASH WILLOW,
which was trailing, was impeded and lost ground. Approaching the top turn, LUCKMAN and
CAWBOURNE BIGRED checked and lost momentum.
BLUMENTRIT and INNAMINCKA, which were trailing, were hampered, with
BLUMENTRIT improving onto the rear of INNAMINCKA, causing INNAMINCKA to lose
substantial ground as a consequence.
LUCKMAN and JUST LIKE YAZZA raced tight and checked at the turn into the
front straight. The greyhound LUCKMAN underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound INNAMINCKA underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

5TH GRADE (2) – 431M KEAVY was best to begin.
LIL MISS PINKY was very slow.
Approaching the 1st turn, TINY TIARA stumbled and lost
ground. In the back straight, WOOLOOGA
checked off heels, then shifted out bumping GOOD GOLLY OLLY as it did. Approaching the top turn, TINY TIARA
checked off heels and lost significant ground. CLASSY CASSIE, which was trailing, was
severely impeded and lost substantial ground as a consequence. LIL MISS PINKY raced wide through the top
turn and for the remainder of the race thereafter. |

PHOTOS 5TH GRADE FINAL – 431M YOU JANE was best to begin. SCIPIO AFRICANUS was slow. ODESSA and CORYKODI raced tight and bumped
at the 1st turn. Shortly
after, YOU JANE was tightened for racing room and lost ground as a
result. Approaching the top turn,
SCIPIO AFRICANUS checked off heels and lost ground. YOU JANE and ARFA SHOW OFF raced wide and
bumped through the turn into the front straight. |

ROAD TO FLAME were tightened for racing room and lost ground. In the back straight, MAYWYN PETTYCASH
checked off heels and lost significant ground as a result. |

GJ WALSH & CO 5TH
GRADE (3) – 431M STRUDEL and SURFBOARD were both best to begin, SURE SHOOT
was slow. In the 1st turn,
WHINGING WILKO checked off the heels of MONDELLA and lost ground. FARMOR PERHAPS, which was trailing,
collided into WHINGING WILKO and lost significant ground as a
consequence. Approaching the top turn,
FARMOR PERHAPS was impeded and shifted out, losing ground as it did. FARMOR PERHAPS continued to race wide for
the remainder of the race thereafter The greyhound FARMOR PERHAPS underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |
