The greyhound, VELOCITY ANIFRID, performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trial, over a distance of 431m, in a time of 25.08, and
is cleared to race all tracks.
The greyhound, MR. RALPH, performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trial, over a distance of 431m, in a time of 25.72, and
is cleared to race all tracks.
The greyhound, ROSDUE LEON, performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trial, over a distance of 431m, in a time of 25.49, and
is cleared to race all tracks.

1 – 431M GOTCHA MOCHA
was best to begin, with BONITA DE KAHN slow.
Shortly after the start, RAIN ALERT shifted in, colliding with LONG
ROAD HOME, causing both greyhounds to be hampered. Rounding the turn into the home straight,
ALL BRUTON and RAIN ALERT bumped. In
the front straight, GOTCHA MOCHA raced wide.
The greyhound
CRUZ RAMIREZ underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to
have sustained an injury to the near hip and was stood down for a period of
21 days Stewards’
advised trainer, Mr C Dargusch, that the greyhound, CRUZ RAMIREZ would be
charged under Rule 69 (b) Failing to Pursue with injury, 21 days and
greyhound must perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial, 431m all tracks. |

SKY RACING MAIDEN
HEAT 2 – 431M BLUE GIRL BLUE and JAKEY BLUE were best to begin. Shortly after the start, BELL BURTON,
CELTIC FEAR, BIG HERO SIX and PHANTOM ROAD collided, causing BIG HERO SIX and
CELTIC FEAR to lose ground. In the 1st
turn, PHANTOM ROAD shifted in colliding with STOP THE IMAGE, BELL BURTON and
BLUE GIRL BLUE, causing all greyhounds to lose ground. In the front straight, REGAL TOPAZ, CELTIC
FEAR and BIG HERO SIX raced wide. The greyhound CELTIC FEAR underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards’ advised trainer, Mr T Chapman, that the
greyhound CELTIC FEAR, would be charged under Rule 71 Unsatisfactory
Performance, and greyhound must perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial, 431m
at Ipswich. |

Shortly after the start, HOT EMBER, FROSTY BLACK JAY and MINNIE BLUE
collided, causing MINNIE BLUE and FROSTY BLACK JAY to lose ground. Entering the 1st turn, MAGIC
MALT and ASPEN VALLEY collided, causing both greyhounds to be hampered. In the front straight, MINNIE BLUE was
wide. |

NOVICE - 431M SNOW GIRL was best to begin, with SPRING COLLEEN and HAD
BETTER DAZE marginally slow. Shortly
after the start, SPRING COLLEEN, HAD BETTER DAZE and KYEEKY bumped, causing
all greyhounds to be hampered. In the
1st turn, SASSY OAKS and FIVE GALLON and SPRING COLLEEN collided,
resulting in WHO SAID SO to be checked and all greyhounds to lose
ground. Entering the back straight,
FIVE GALLON HAT shifted out, colliding with WHO SAID SO causing both
greyhounds to lose ground. In the
front straight, HAD BETTER DAZE raced wide . |

MIXED 3/4 – 431M Even start, with SPRING ROY and VELOCITY ZARIN marginally
slow. In the 1st turn, LIGHTNING
WHITE was tightened for racing room and was hampered. At the same time, STAR RISE, PRATER’S
RECRUIT and CAPTAIN LOUIE collided, causing all greyhounds to lose
ground. Rounding the into the back
straight, LIGHTNING WHITE, SPRING ROY and VELOCITY ZARIN collided, causing
SPRING ROY and LIGHTNING WHITE to lose ground. Approaching the top turn, STAR RISE
clipped heels and lost ground.
Rounding the turn into the front straight, LIGHTNING WHITE and SPRING
ROY bumped on numerous occasions, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. |

the 1st turn, LUMINESCENCE and NOTORIOUS HERO bumped. In the 1st turn, LUMINESCENCE
and SMOKIN’ ALICE collided, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Leaving the 1st turn, NIVEK
RETSERROF, NOTORIOUS HERO and AUSSIE DIAMOND bumped, causing all greyhounds
to be hampered. Leaving the top turn,
NOTORIOUS HERO and NEXT tightened for racing room and lost ground. |
