satisfactory stewards’ trial, over a distance of 431m, in a time of 25.60,
and is now cleared to race all tracks. Stewards’
Trial 2 The greyhound SHAWSY performed a satisfactory
stewards’ trail, over a distance of 520m, in a time of 30.79, and is now
cleared to race all tracks. |

MAIDEN – 431m Even
start. Shortly after the start, SPUR
ON was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Approaching the 1st turn, HAY
BONUS checked off heels, stumbled into KIMARI MARIA, causing both greyhounds
to lose ground. Shortly after, HAY
BONUS was tightened for racing room, checked off heels and shifted out,
losing significant ground as a consequence.
Leaving the turn into the back straight, SPUR ON checked off heels and
lost ground. Approaching the top turn,
FIVE FORTY and BAGS IT’S MINE raced tight and bumped on occasion. Leaving the turn into the front straight,
POWDER and ASH TIDE raced tight and bumped, and continued to race tight and
bumping on occasion for the remainder of the race thereafter. |

SKY RACING
MAIDEN – 520M BONITA DE KAHN, CAESER’S WARRIOR and ONE FOR MICK were
best to begin. ZABDON ZINGER and
INFRARED STAR were both marginally slow.
Approaching the 1st turn, ROCKY SPIES checked off heels and
lost ground. MAGIC MALT, which was
trailing, checked off heels and lost considerable ground as a
consequence. Leaving the turn into the
back straight, MAGIC MALT checked off heels and lost significant ground. Approaching the top turn, BONITA DE KAHN
was tightened for racing room and lost ground. The greyhound MAGIC MALT underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off side hock
and was stood down for a period of 10 days The greyhound, CAESER’S WARRIOR, was inspected by the
veterinary surgeon after the completion of the race, and was declared
deceased. The greyhound was sent to the University of Queensland’s Gatton
Campus for an autopsy report. |

PRANCER and JOHN PRINCE were both slow to begin. Leaving the turn into the front straight,
BEIJING FLING shifted out and checked heavily into LOST IN ORBIT, causing
both greyhounds to lose ground and momentum as a result. |

FINANCE BEST 8 – 431M DU HAST was best to begin, BLACK PAWS was marginally
slow. At the 1st turn, the
entire field came together and checked, with all losing ground to varying
degrees. Shortly after, BLACK PAWS
checked off heels, then checked into TEE BE GOOD, causing both greyhounds to
lose ground as a result. |

520M SWEET
KARMAR was best to begin, SLICE OF CAKE and INFRARED LASS were both
marginally slow. In the front
straight, on the 1st occasion, SLICE OF CAKE checked off heels and
lost ground. Leaving the turn into the
back straight, GIFTED ANGEL checked off heels and lost ground. |

JUST
GREYHOUND PHOTOS 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 – 520M SPECIAL COVER was best to
begin. Approaching the 1st
turn, KYLE THE TANK was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Shortly after, IRON MAID and BRIGHT
SATELLITE raced tight, resulting in BRIGHT SATTELITE to stumble, and become
unbalanced, losing ground as a consequence. |

raced tight, checking immediately after the start. In the 1st turn, the majority of
the field, apart from BUD’S DELIGHT, CAPTAIN TIL and FOXY BE GOOD, came
together and checked, with all losing ground to varying degrees. Approaching the top turn, CAPTAIN TIL was
tightened for racing room and lost ground as a consequence. In the front straight, BE FEARLESS and FOXY
BE GOOD raced tight and checked, resulting in both greyhounds losing
momentum. |

GJ WALSH
& CO 5TH GRADE (1) – 431M YOU JANE and
SENNI LUCILLE were both best to begin, LITE ME UP was slow. Approaching the 1st turn, REGAL
WAZ, NO MORE CAKE, COSMIC DENLYN and NEXT raced tight and checked. SENNI LUCILLE raced wide through the turn
into the back straight, and also in the back straight. Approaching the top turn, NEXT was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost considerable ground as a
result. NO MORE CAKE and SENNI LUCILLE
raced wide through the turn into the home straight. |

5TH GRADE (2) – 431M MR. BELVEDERE
and VOLKEY were both best to begin.
MAGIC SWIFTLY was marginally slow.
In the 1st turn, HAD BETTER DAZE and VOLKEY checked. MR. RALPH which was trailing, was impeded
and lost ground as a consequence.
Approaching the top turn HAD BETTER DAZE was tightened for racing
room, checked off heels and lost considerable ground as a result. MR. RALPH, which was trailing, collided
into that greyhound, causing both greyhounds to lose substantial ground as a
consequence. MAGIC SWIFTLY, which was trailing those greyhounds, collided
into the back of MR. RALPH, causing MAGIC SWIFTLY to lose substantial ground
as a result. |

GRADE (3) – 431M MYONA
ROSE was marginally slow to begin. In
the 1st turn, MOOSE MAN and MYONA ROSE were both tightened for
racing room, checked off heels and lost ground. Approaching the top turn, HAVANA BLACK was
tightened for racing room and lost momentum.
Leaving the turn into the front straight, SIN CITY KITTY shifted out
and momentarily impeded HAVANA BLACK, which was trailing. |
