Trial 1 The greyhound JACKSON STORM performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trial, over a distance of 520, in a time of 31.47, and
is now cleared to race all tracks. The greyhound MONBO BEACH performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trial, over a distance of 520m, in a time of 31.40,
and is now cleared to race all tracks. |

MAIDEN – 288M Even
start. Shortly after the start, all
greyhounds except WILDASH HAWKO, raced tight causing all greyhounds to lose
at differing degrees. Approaching the
1st turn, LADY CRIMSON was tightened for racing room and lost
ground. In the 1st turn,
RED BELLY BLACK shifted out colliding with GRANDE KLUGER, which in turn
collided with MASTER TIDE, causing GRANDE KLUGER to lose ground and BAGS IT’S
MINE was checked as a result. In the
front straight, BAGS IT’S MINE and LADY CRIMSON collided on numerous
occasions, causing both greyhounds to be hampered. The greyhound
GRANDE KLUGER underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent
injuries were found. Stewards’
advised trainer, Mr N Catchpole, that the greyhound GRANDE KLUGER would be
charged under Rule 69(a), Failing to Pursue 1st Offence, 28 days
and greyhound must perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial, 288m all tracks. |

SKY RACING
MAIDEN BEST 8 – 431M AIM was best to begin.
Shortly after the start, DAISY DREAMS and DU HAST bumped. Approaching the 1st turn, all
greyhounds collided causing all greyhounds to lose ground at differing
degrees. Entering the back straight,
AIM clipped heels and was hampered. In
the front straight, FLAPPING GUMS and DAISY DREAMS bumped on numerous
occasions. The greyhound DU HAST underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off hind toe and
was stood down for a period of 3 days. |

KARMAR and RED HOT SPUR were best to begin, with BOGAN LAD marginally
slow. Shortly after the start,
INFRARED STAR, COCONUT LASS and ROCKY SPIES collided, causing all greyhounds
to lose ground. Approaching the 1st
turn, RED HOT SPUR and BOGAN LAD collided, causing BOGAN LAD to shift out
checking ROCKY SPIES and COCONUT LASS, resulting in ROCKY SPIES, COCONUT LASS
and BOGAN LAD to all lose ground. |

TRUCK PARTS
EXPRESS NOVICE – 520M BEIJING
FLING and LOST IN ORBIT were best to begin, with MY BOUQUET and GALWAY
PANTHER marginally slow. Shortly after
the start, GALWAY PANTHER clipped heels and lost ground. Approaching the 1st turn, LOST
IN ORBIT, IMPATIENT KID and LET’S WIN BILLY collided, causing IMPATIENT KID
and LET’S WIN BILLY to lose significant ground, with LOST IN ORBIT to fall
and give no further competitive part in the race, resulting in SIN CITY KITTY
to be checked and to lose ground. Rounding
the turn into the front straight, JOHN PRINCE clipped heels and was
hampered. In the front straight, SIN
CITY KITTY raced wide. The
greyhound LOST IN ORBIT underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

5TH GRADE (1) – 431M Even
start, with LUKE’S WAY slow. Shortly
after the start, PARIS QUEEN and WILLY TOULA bumped, causing both greyhounds
to be hampered. Leaving the 1st
turn, CATCH ME KEITH and WHINGING WILKO bumped. Rounding the turn in the front straight,
WHITE EAGLE became unbalanced and hampered.
In the front straight, WHINGING WILKO raced wide. |

RONI’S MIXED 4/5 – 431M Even start, with BON KNOCKA
marginally slow. Shortly after the
start, FONIC LASS, MR. BELVEDERE and HOOP DREAMS collided, causing all
greyhounds to lose ground. In the 1st
turn, HOOP DREAMS and BON KNOCKA collided, causing both greyhounds to lose
ground. Rounding the turn into the
front straight, MR. BELVEDERE and GET SHORTY both clipped heels and became
hampered. The greyhound BON KNOCKA
underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were
found. |

injuries were found. |

best to begin, with CUTE GAMBLER marginally slow. Shortly after the start, BUD’S DELIGHT,
MASTER DEAN, NO MORE CAKE and FOXY BE GOOD collided, causing all greyhounds
to be hampered. In the 1st
turn, CAWBOURNE BIGRED, HERE FOR YOU, BUD’S DELIGHT and MASTER DEAN collided,
causing BUD’S DELIGHT to lose ground and HERE FOR YOU and MASTER DEAN losing
significant ground. Rounding the turn
into the front straight, MASTER DEAN and HERE FOR YOU collided on numerous
occasions, causing both greyhounds to lose ground The greyhound
MASTER DEAN underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent
injuries were found. The greyhound
HERE FOR YOU underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to
have sustained an injury to the near side hind foot and was stood down for a
period of 10 days . |

5TH GRADE (3) - 431M Even start, with MR. RALPH marginally slow. Approaching the 1st turn, SASSY
OAKS, MAMMA’S BOY, MOOSE MAN, CLASSY SPRITE collided, causing all greyhounds
to be hampered. Entering the back
straight, MOOSE MAN and SASSY OAKS collided, causing SASSY OAKS to fall and
give no further competitive part in the race.
MAMMA’S BOY was checked as a result and lost ground. Leaving the top turn, CLASSY SPRITE clipped
heels and lost ground. Rounding the
turn into the front straight, MR. RALPH and HAVANA BLACK bumped. The greyhound SASSY OAKS underwent a post-race veterinary examination
and no apparent injuries were found. |
