431M SPEEDY MARINA
was best to begin, with SPRING RUSSELL slow.
In the 1st turn, JAKEY BOY, PHANTOM ROAD, SPRING RITCHIE,
MISS EMMY, FROSTY BLACK JAY collided, causing PHANTOM ROAD and MISS EMMY to
be hampered and FROSTY BLACK JAY to lose ground. Entering the front straight,
JAKEY BOY shifted out clipped heels and was hampered. In the front and back straight, MISS EMMY
and FROST BLACK JAY raced wide. |

SKY RACING NOVICE –
431M Even start, with SUCCATASH marginally slow. Shortly after the start, THANKING PETER,
HAVANA BLACK and ASH TIDE raced tight.
Leaving the 1st turn, THANKING PETER, BONDI GIRL and
WILDASH KAMILARO collided, causing WILDASH KAMILARO to become unbalanced and to
lose ground. Leaving the top turn, ASH
TIDE clipped the heels of WILDASH HAWKO, causing both greyhounds to become
hampered. The greyhound WILDASH KAMILARO underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off
side pin and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

GREYHOUND_DATA.COM 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 – 431M Even
start. Leaving the 1st
turn, NATTY’S ON FIRE and HESPERIDES bumped, causing both greyhounds to lose
ground. Entering the back straight,
HAVANA SURPRISE was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Shortly after, DODGY ETHAN was tightened
for racing room and lost ground.
Approaching the top turn, NATTY’S ON FIRE hit the running rail and
lost ground. Rounding the turn into
the home straight, SMOKEY WISHES and DODGY ETHAN collided, causing both
greyhounds to be hampered. In the
front straight, SMOKEY WISHES and DODGY ETHAN bumped. The greyhound
NATTY’S ON FIRE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent
injuries were found. |

5TH GRADE HEAT 2 – 431M PROPER TOFF was best to
begin. Approaching the 1st
turn, all greyhounds except PROPER TOFF collided, causing all greyhounds to
lose ground at differing degrees.
Rounding the turn into the back straight, SMART WERINA clipped heels
and lost ground. Leaving the top turn,
MISS AMELIA clipped heels, shifted out, and lost ground. The greyhound MISS AMELIA
underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were
found. The greyhound NO LAYING BACK
underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were
found. |

COUNTRY FOOD SERVICE 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 – 431M Even start, with WILDASH CECIL best to begin. Shortly after the start, AILLA and LEST WE
bumped. In the 1st turn,
BLACK SHARK, HAY HOPEY, LEST WE, TOPAZ TAN and SURE SHOT all raced tight,
causing all greyhounds to be hampered.
Approaching the top turn, TOPAZ TAN clipped heels and was hampered.
Leaving the top turn, ALOTA DAGZ and BLACK SHARK collided, causing BLACK
SHARK to become unbalanced and lose ground.
Rounding the turn into the home straight, BLACK SHARK, TOPAZ TAN and
SURE SHOT collided, causing all greyhounds to lose ground. |

CAWBOURNE BIGRED, MY GLORIOUS GAL and ORPHAN ANNIE collided, causing all
greyhounds to lose ground at differing degrees. Entering the back straight, COSMIC REVENGE
shifted out colliding with KAAN PAKMAK causing cosmic revenge to lose
significant ground and give no further competitive part in the race. Rounding the top turn, CAWBOURNE BIGRED was
tightened for racing room and lost ground.
Leaving the top turn, CAWBOURNE BIGRED collided with the running rail
and lost ground. The greyhound CAWBOURNE BIGRED underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound COSMIC REVENGE underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off
side pin and was stood down for a period of 21 days. |

GRADE FINAL – 431M COOKIE NO CREAM was best to begin, with REGAL CYNDIE and
RATHNAIT marginally slow. Approaching
the 1st turn, ODESSA shifted out and collided with COOKIE NO
CREAM, causing both greyhounds to be hampered. Leaving the 1st turn, SURFBOAR,
ODESSAA and COOKIE NO CREAM raced tight.
At the same time, MONDELLA and SPRING LOTTIE collided, causing SPRING
LOTTIE to lose ground. Rounding the
turn into the back straight, REGAL CYNDIE and LUCKMAN collided, causing both
greyhounds to lose ground. |

turn, AIM and RAPID EXPLOSION collided, causing both greyhounds to lose
ground. At the same time, COSMO TRAV,
HOOP DREAMS and MAYWYN REWARDS collided, causing MAYWYNS REWARD and HOOP
DREAMS to lose ground, and as a result DODGY DANCER was checked. Leaving the top turn, MAYWYN REWARDS and
DODGY DANCER collided, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. In the front and back straight, DODGY
DANCER raced wide. The greyhound RAPID EXPLOSION
underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were
found. |

SURGEON 5TH GRADE HEAT 4 – 431M Even start. In the
1st turn, ASTIN’S WARRIOR and WILDASH WAUCHOPE raced tight,
causing WILDASH WAUCHOPE to fall and give no further competitive part in the
race. Rounding the turn into the back
straight, HAD BETTER DAZE clipped heels and lost ground. Rounding the turn into the home straight,
SASSY OAKS clipped heels and was hampered. The greyhound WILDASH WAUCHOPE underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a back injury and was
humanely euthanised. |
