start. Shortly after the start, MASTER
TIDE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight,
YOGI BE GOOD and RED BELLY BLACK collide, resulting in YOGI BE GOOD to be
checked and to lose ground. MR. LEO,
which was trailing, was checked as a consequence, shifted out and collided
with ORANGE OAK ROAD, resulting in both greyhounds to be severely checked and
to lose considerable ground. FROSTY
SKY, which was trailing, was checked as a consequence and lost ground. The
greyhound MR. LEO underwent a post race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found. |

MAIDEN – 431M Even start.
Shortly after the start, EARTH SHAKE and BONITA DE KAHN collide. Through the 1st turn, EARTH
SHAKE and BONITA DE KAHN collided on a number of occasions, which resulted in
BONITA DE KAHN to be checked and to lose ground. Entering the front straight, MAGIC MALT
shifted out, which hampered the running of EARTH SHAKE. |

to begin. Shortly after the start,
ZABDON ZINGER was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the back
straight, ROCKY SPIES shifted out and contacted the hindquarters of GRU,
resulting in ROCKY SPIES to be checked and to lose ground. In the back straight, STOP THE IMAGE and
TOP DECK DUK collide, resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and to lose
ground. LADYLIKE GRACE, which was
trailing, was checked as a consequence and lost ground. Entering the front straight, STOP THE IMAGE
checked across heels and raced wide. |

JUST GREYHOUND
PHOTOS NOVICE – 520M Even
start. Leaving the front straight,
ALEENA LAD and JOHN PRINCE collide, resulting in both greyhounds to be
severely checked, with ALEENA LAD falling and taking no further competitive
part in the race. JOHN PRINCE was
severely checked, shifted out and collided with ZABDON PRANCER, which
resulted in JOHN PRINCE falling and taking no further competitive part in the
race. Shortly after, ZABDON PRANCER
retired from the race. GALWAY PANTHER,
which was trailing, was severely checked and lost considerable ground. SIN CITY KITTY shifted out rounding the
turn into the front straight. In the
front straight, during the run to the finish, LET’S WIN BILLY turned its head
and marred the running of WONDERLAND. The
greyhound ALEENA LAD underwent a post race veterinary examination and was
found to have sustained an injury to the near hind leg and was stood down for
a period of 10 days. The
greyhound JOHN PRINCE underwent a post race veterinary examination and was
found to have sustained an injury to the off front toe and was stood down for
a period of 7 days. The
greyhound ZABDON PRANCER underwent a post race veterinary examination and was
found to have sustained an injury to the near fore leg and was humanely euthanized. Stewards’
advised trainer, Mr B Kitchener, the greyhound LET’S WIN BILLY would be
charged under Rule 69(1) Marring 1st Offence, 28 days and
greyhound must perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial, 520m all tracks. |

5TH GRADE (1) – 431M Race 5 was a
manual start. Even
start. Through the 1st
turn, BUNDY BUCKS and LIGHTNING LARICO were both tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. Leaving the
back straight, GALLON was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Entering the front straight,
GALLON shifted out across the heels of STAR RISE and raced wide. |

CO 5TH GRADE (2) – 431M Even start, with the exception of MYONA ROSE, which was
marginally slow to begin. Through the
1st turn, all runners, with the exception of DOUBLE OAK, were
tightened for racing room and checked at varying degrees. Approaching the turn out of the back
straight, ZOU BISOU BISOU and LILLY PILLY LASS collide, resulting in ZOU
BISOU BISOU to be checked and to fall and taking no further competitive part
in the race. Shortly after, MYONA ROSE
and WAIKARIE SYLVIE collide, resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and
to lose ground. GOOD DAZE AHEAD, which
was racing to its outside, was checked as a consequence, shifted out and
collided with LILLY PILLY LASS, resulting in both greyhounds to be severely
checked and to lose considerable ground. The greyhound ZOU BISOU BISOU underwent a post race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

A DOUBT and ALOTA AMY bump, resulting in ALOTA AMY to be checked and to lose

turn, SAIL SURFER, POWER OF PENNY, NEVER A DOUBT and GITCHA HUMMIN’ were all
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Leaving the back straight, POWER OF PENNY
and ALOTA AMY were tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. |

greyhounds to be checked and to lose ground.
Rounding the turn into the back straight, FRIENDZ was tightened for
racing room and lost ground. Rounding
the turn out of the back straight, NOVELLA improved onto the heels of MR.

OF OMAHA and FLAPPING GUMS collide.
Shortly after, SAGE OF OMAHA was tightened for racing room, checked
and lost ground. FLAPPING GUMS
commenced to give ground rounding the turn out of the back straight. The greyhound
FLAPPING GUMS underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to
have sustained an injury to the near hind back muscle and was stood down for
a period of 28 days. |
