1 – 431M Even
start. Through the 1st
turn, ROSDUE KOLA, FARMOR SUSPENSE, DRIVES ME CRAZY, STORM POWER and COUNT
WERINA were all tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the back
straight, IVY’S BOUQUET was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Leaving the back straight, ROSDUE KOLA and
COUNT WERINA collide, resulting in both greyhounds to lose ground. IVY’S BOUQET and FARMOR SUSPENSE, which
were trailing, were checked as a consequence and lost ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight,
DRIVES ME CRAZY shifted out, which hampered the running of COUNT WERINA and
IVY’S BOUQUET. In the front straight,
DRIVES ME CRAZY shifted out, which checked the running of COUNT WERINA,
resulting in that greyhound to lose ground.

HEAT 2 – 431M Even start, with the exception of NO CONFIDENCE and
ROSDUE GYPSY which were both marginally slow to begin, and SPRING RITCHIE was
slow to begin. Through the 1st
turn, MAGIC MALT was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Entering the back straight, MAGIC MALT and
NO CONFIDENCE collide, resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and to lose
ground. Leaving the back straight,
SHEZ NIKITA and SPRING RITCHIE collide, resulting in both greyhounds to be
checked and to lose ground. NO
CONFIDENCE, ROSDUE GYPSY, MAGIC MALT and EYE HATE CAKE, which were all
trailing, were checked as a result of this incident and lost ground. |

MAIDEN HEAT 3 – 431M WIGGLE WABBLE
and DAVE THE RAVE were best to begin.
Shortly after the start, EYE LIKE CAKE was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. At the same
time, BONITA DE KAHN and ROSDUE MATAO collide, resulting in both greyhounds
to be checked and to lose ground.
Through the 1st turn, EYE LIKE CAKE was tightened for
racing room, checked and lost ground.
EL BAZZA, which was trailing, was checked as a consequence and lost
ground. Approaching the turn into the
back straight, COST A PENNY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Entering the back straight,
REAL JAZZ, DAVE THE RAVE, WIGGLE WABBLE and COST A PENNY all raced wide. Approaching the turn out of the back
straight, ROSDUE MATAO was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Entering the front straight,
COST A PENNY checked across heels, collided with EYE LIKE CAKE, resulting in
both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground . |

ALPHA 390 FINANCE NOVICE – 431M Even start. Shortly after the start, PATCHE DE KAHN and
BACK OFF collide. Approaching the 1st
turn, BACK OFF and ROSDUE LEON collide, resulting in both greyhounds to be
checked and to lose ground. Through
the 1st turn, ROSDUE SHAKA and AL BRUTON were tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. PATCHE DE
KAHN, which was trailing, was checked as a consequence and lost ground. Entering the back straight, ROSDUE LEON
shifted in and contacted the running rail and lost ground. Shortly after, ROSDUE SHAKA was tightened
for racing room, checked and lost ground.
Leaving the back straight, ROSDUE SHAKA was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. PATCHE DE
KAHN, which was trailing, was checked as a consequence and lost ground. The greyhound ROSDUE LEON
underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained
an injury to the near hind toe and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

ELLY BYE BYE bumped. Approaching the 1st turn, MAYWYN
PETTY CASH and SAIL SURFER raced tight.
Through the 1st turn, MAYWYN PETTY CASH and SAIL SURFER
were tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. COSMO TRAV, which was trailing, was checked
as a consequence and lost ground. DODGY DANCER raced wide in the back straight,
and again in the front straight. |

WALSH & CO MIXED 4/5 – 520M Even start. Shortly after the start, WHINGING WILKO
shifted out, which tightened the racing room of TOPAZ TAN, resulting in that
greyhound to be checked and to lose ground.
Rounding the turn out of the front straight, COSMIC CAPERS and TOPAZ
TAN were both tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Shortly after, ALLPA MAMA and DOGMATIC
collide, resulting in DOGMATIC to be checked and to lose ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight,
TOPAZ TAN and DOGMATIC collide, resulting in DOGMATIC to be checked and to
lose ground. COSMIC CAPERS, which was
trailing, was checked as a consequence and lost ground. |

Through the 1st turn, all greyhounds with the exception of
SPRING IVAN and WILLY TOULA were tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground to varying degrees. Rounding
the turn into the back straight, SPRING IVAN was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. Approaching
the turn into the front straight, WAYCOL BILL and BELL BURTON collide,
resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and to lose ground. |

SKY RACING 5TH
GRADE (2) – 431M Even start.
Approaching the turn into the back straight, SASSY OAKS was tightened
for racing room, checked, shifted out and collided with LA BELLA MIMI
resulting in both greyhounds to lose ground.
Approaching the turn out of the back straight, SPRING LEMON shifted
in, contacted the hind legs of DAILY MUSTER, resulting in SPRING LEMON to be
severely checked, fell and took no further competitive part in the race. In the front straight during the run to the
finish, SASSY OAKS and HOME LUCK collided on a number of occasions. The greyhound SPRING LEMON underwent a post race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |
