Stewards’Trial

The greyhound AGENT’S CHOICE performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial, over a distance of 520m, in a time

of 31.36, and ins now cleared to race all tracks except Brisbane.

The greyhound PONCHERELLO failed to perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial.

The greyhound BARBARELLA, while participating in the stewards’ trial, sustained an off hock injury and was

given a stand down period of 28 days.

Into the 1^st turn, EYE HATE CAKE checked off BROKE EVEN, causing QUEEN WERINA to check. Out of the 1^st turn into the back straight, EYE HATE CAKE raced wide throughout. Out of the top turn into the home straight, QUEEN WERINA checked off BROKEN EVEN’s heels. Into the home straight, EYE HATE CAKE raced wide.

SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 – 431M Even start. Into the 1^st turn, SNITTY checked off TOP SCORE’s heels, causing SNITTY to collide with EYE LIKE CAKE, causing EYE LIKE CAKE and ONE WHISPER to check. Out of the 1^st turn into the back straight, SNITTY collided with FROST BLACK JAY and EYE LIKE CAKE, causing SNITTY to fall and take no further competitive part in the race. In the back straight, CYNDIE’S ANNIE raced wide. Into the top turn, EYE LIKE CAKE and ONE WHISPER collide, causing ONE WHISPER to check and lose ground. The greyhound SNITTY underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near fore leg and was humanely euthanised.

Into the 1^st turn, REAL JAZZ, STORM POWER, DAVE THE RAVE and BONITA DE KAHN all collide to differing at degrees. Out of the top turn into the home straight, STORM POWER and REAL JAZZ collide. DAVE THE RAVE raced wide down the back straight.

4.	ALPHA 390 FINANCE NOVICE – 431M RACE 4 was delayed due to the boxes malfunctioning. All greyhounds were passed fit to race. The race was a manual start. AL BRUTON was best to begin. Shortly after the start, CLICK COWAN and CLEO NOT CHLOE bumped, causing CLICK COWAN to lose ground. Into the top turn, CLICK COWAN checked off MAYWYN’S NOMAD’s heels, colliding with BONDI GIRL, causing BONDI GIRL to check and lose ground. SIN CITY KITTY raced wide in the front straight. The greyhound BONDI GIRL underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Out of the 1^st turn, LA BAMBA, MAMMA’S BOY and EMMA’S MAGIC collided, causing MAMMA’S BOY to check and lose ground. The greyhound LAZZA MANAZZA underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near hip and was stood down for a period of 10 days
