ROULETTE was best to begin. Shortly
after the start, BONITA DE KAHN and EYE LIKE CAKE collide, resulting in both
greyhounds to be checked and to lose ground.
Shortly after, FARMOR RUSH and LADYLIKE GRACE collide, resulting
LADYLIKE GRACE to be checked and to lose ground. Through the 1st turn, CHANCE ME
BRO improved onto the heels of LADYLIKE GRACE resulting in both greyhounds to
be checked and to lose ground.
Entering the back straight, EYE LIKE CAKE improved onto the
hindquarters of CHANCE ME BRO, resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and
to lose ground. Rounding the turn into
the front straight, and in the front straight, LADYLIKE GRACE and FARMOR KA
CHING collide on a number of occasions, resulting in both greyhounds to lose
ground. Mr L Waldon,
trainer of LADYLIKE GRACE was informed that the stewards’ had some concerns
over the greyhounds actions in the run to the finish, however, after
considering all available evidence, stewards’ could not be comfortably
satisfied that the Greyhound had offended under any rule and gave it the
benefit of the doubt. |

LEON, which were both marginally slow to begin. Shortly after the start, HAZE PURPLE was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Through the 1st turn, BROKEN
YOLK was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the back
straight, HONEY’S PRINCESS shifted out, which checked the running of
SUCCATASH. Rounding the turn into the
front straight, ROSDUE LEON was tightened for racing room, checked and lost

Subsequently all races were put back 2 race time slots. Even
start. Through the 1st
turn, SPRING ERNIE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Approaching the turn into the
back straight, KAAN PAKMAK was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Approaching the turn into the
front straight, BARNEY’S BOUNTY checked across heels and lost ground. The greyhound
SPRING ERNIE underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to
have sustained an injury to the off hind leg and was stood down for a period
of 14 days. The greyhound

marginally slow to begin. Through the
1st turn, MAM’S MAGIC improved onto the heels of SPRING RUBY and
lost ground. Rounding the turn into
the back straight, DOUBLE OAK improved onto heels and lost ground. In the back straight, JOHN’S CHOICE and
FARAHMAC collide on a number of occasions, resulting in both greyhounds to be
checked and to lose ground. Rounding
the turn out of the back straight, DOUBLE OAK shifted out, which checked the
running of JOHN’S CHOICE and FARAHMAC, resulting in all greyhounds to lose
ground. |

KNOCK and CORY’S DIAMOND were both tightened for racing room, checked and
lost ground. Entering the back
straight, CAPTAIN’S KNOCK commenced to give ground to retire from the
race. Leaving the back straight,
SPRING WATTLE and CHULU CHULULU were both tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. The greyhound
CAPTAIN’S KNOCK underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to
have sustained an injury to the off side pin and was stood down for a period
of 21 days. |

Rounding the turn into the front straight, on the 1st
occasion, ROCKY SPIES was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Shortly after, AGENT’S CHOICE
was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground, then shifted out and
collided with ROCKY SPIES, resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and to
lose ground. WHIPPY MIDGET was checked
as a result of this incident and lost ground.
Entering the front straight, on the 1st occasion, SLICE OF
CAKE and WHIPPY MIDGET collide, resulting in both greyhounds to be checked
and to lose ground. Approaching the
turn into the back straight, SAY GOOD DAY was tightened for racing room and
was hampered. |

HOME was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Entering the back straight, LONG ROAD HOME
improved onto the heels of SPRING SAL, causing that greyhound to be severely
checked and lose considerable ground.
Leaving the back straight, SPRING COLLEEN was tightened for racing
room, checked and lost ground. Shortly after SPRING COLLEEN collided with
LONG ROAD HOME, which was trailing, resulting in both greyhounds to lose
considerable ground. Entering the
front straight, SPRING COLLEEN and LONG ROAD HOME collide, resulting in both
greyhounds to lose ground. |
