BLUE was best to begin, MAD ELLY DEE was slow. Approaching the 1st turn, FROSTY
BLACK JAY, SHEZA RENEGADE and SPRING PHOENIX collided, causing those
greyhounds to lose ground. The muzzle
of SPRING PHOENIX became dislodged from the mouth area at this point. GOTCHA GIFT checked off heels and lost
ground at the turn into the back straight.
EYE HATE CAKE raced wide in the back straight, and remained wide for
the remainder of the race thereafter. FROSTY
BLACK JAY raced wide through the turn into the front straight and for the
remainder of the race. |

SKY RACING NOVICE –
431M BELLEEK was best to begin. CAWBOURNE FAWNY began awkwardly and checked
into ROUGH ODDS immediately after the start, losing ground as a result. EL DOUBLE ONE shifted out at the 1st
turn, which impeded BONDI GIRL.
VANDERWEGHE, which was trailing, collided into BONDI GIRL, causing
both greyhounds to lose ground.
Leaving the turn into the back straight, LITTLE LUCK checked off heels
and lost considerable ground.
Approaching the turn into the front straight, both CAWBOURNE FAWNY and
VANDERWEGHE checked off heels and lost momentum. The greyhound BONDI GIRL underwent a post race veterinary
examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off fore leg and
was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

begin. SPRING ELLIE and COSMIC REVENGE
bumped at the 1st turn, causing COSMIC REVENGE to shift out which
impeded RATHNAIT as it did, with both greyhounds shifting out and losing
ground as a consequence. Approaching
the top turn, SPRING ELLIE was tightened for racing room and lost momentum. |

MIXED 3/4 – 431M MAYWYNS NOISE and MAYWYN PETTYCASH were both best to
begin. ASTIN’S WARRIOR was marginally
slow. At the 1st turn,
NEVER A DOUBT and VALKYRIE BLUE bumped, causing VALKYRIE BLUE to shift out,
SPRING COLLEEN and LARRIKAN LASS, which were trailing, were inconvenienced
and checked, causing both greyhounds to lose substantial ground. At the top turn, PYRO BOB was tightened for
racing room and lost ground. VALKYRIE
BLUE and MAYWYN PETTYCASH raced wide through the turn into the front
straight. |

COUNTRY FOOD SERVICE 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 – 431M Even start. ASH TIDE was
tightened for racing room after the start and lost ground. Approaching the 1st turn,
STROGANOFF was tightened for racing room, shifted out and collided heavily
with VELOCITY CHARM, causing STROGANOFF to lose significant ground and
VELOCITY CHARM to lose momentum.
Approaching the top turn, VELOCITY CHARM came into contact with the running
rail and lost ground. Shortly after,
ASH TIDE and SPRING SHELLEY were tightened for racing room and lost
ground. STROGANOFF, which was racing
to their outside, was inconvenienced and lost momentum. Midway in the front straight, PATRICK
GEORGE began to ease and dropped back through the field. The greyhound RATHNAIT underwent a post race veterinary examination and
no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound VELOCITY CHARM underwent a post race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards’ advised trainer, Mr T Barton, the greyhound PATRICK GEORGE
would be charged under Rule 69a Failing to Pursue 1st Offence,
with the greyhound being stood down for a period of 28 days, and to perform a
satisfactory stewards’ trial, at the track it offended, prior to racing. |

431M AGRO’S THUNDER was best to begin, MOOSE MAN was
marginally slow. The entire field
raced tight into the 1st turn, resulting in AGRO’S THUNDER and
GUNLEE ROCKER to be tightened for racing room and lose considerable ground as
a consequence. Leaving the turn into
the back straight, DIRECT TERROR and SEDUCTIVE SMILE bumped, causing
SEDUCTIVE SMILE to shift out. MY
GLORIOUS GAL and GUNLEE ROCKER, which were trailing, were inconvenienced as a
result, with GUNLEE ROCKER becoming severely unbalanced and losing
considerable ground. Shortly after,
DIRECT TERROR improved onto the rear of AGRO’S THUNDER, causing AGRO’S
THUNDER to stumble and lose ground.
Leaving the turn into the back straight, MY GLORIOUS GAL improved onto
the rear of SEDUCTIVE SMILE and became severely unbalanced, losing significant
ground as a consequence. Approaching
the top turn, GUNLEE ROCKER was tightened for racing room, checked off heels
and lost ground. The greyhound MY GLORIOUS GAL underwent a post race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

KAYPAT LODGE 5TH
GRADE HEAT 3 – 431 GRETA’S GIFT and SPRING IVY were both marginally slow to
begin. Approaching the 1st
turn, SPRING IVY was tightened for racing room, checked off heels and lost
ground. Leaving the 1st
turn, WILDASH TOM was tightened for racing room, stumbled and lost
ground. VELOCITY ZARIN, which was
trailing, was severely impeded as a result and lost considerable ground. Shortly after WILDASH TOM checked off
heels, became severely unbalanced and lost substantial ground. BUNDY BUCKS, which was trailing was impeded
and lost significant ground as a result.
DOUBLE OAK and SPRING IVY raced tight over the concluding stages of
the race. The greyhound WILDASH TOM underwent a post race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

GRADE FINAL- 431M VALKYRE NIGHT was best to begin. At the 1st turn, SASSY OAKS and
SISTER KIRSTY checked, causing SISTER KIRSTY to shift out and collide into
MASTER BULLET, AUGUST FLAME and GUY FAWKES, which were all racing to the
outside of that greyhound. AUGUST
FLAME and GUY FAWKES lost significant ground as a result of this
contact. SISTER KIRSTY lost
substantial ground and took no further part in the race. The greyhound SISTER KIRSTY underwent
a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury
to the off hind leg and was humanely euthanised. |

SURGEON 5TH GRADE HEAT 4 – 431M MAYWYN PROMISES was best to begin. MUSTANG NOVA and BLACK KOALA were both
marginally slow. At the 1st turn, AL BRUTON shifted in sharply and
collided with MUSTANG NOVA and BINALONG ROAD, causing AL BRUTON to become unbalanced,
and MUSTANG NOVA and BINALONG ROAD to lose significant ground as a consequence. BLACK KOALA, which was trailing, collided
with BINALONG ROAD, resulting in both greyhounds losing ground. Approaching the top turn, RICHMOND ROAD
checked off heels and lost ground.
Approaching the turn into the front straight, ENOUGH KNOWLEDGE came
into contact with the running rail, became unbalanced and lost ground. |

turn, WHITE EAGLE and BETTA BE RIGHT raced tight and checked. Approaching the turn into the back
straight, PAWFECTION improved onto the rear of ON TIGHT LINES and became
severely unbalanced, losing ground as a result. WHITE EAGLE, which was trailing, was
severely impeded as a result and lost considerable ground. The greyhound PAWFECTION
underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were
