Race 1 – WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM MAIDEN – 431M
APPLAUD
ME was slow to begin. After the start,
DAVE THE RAVE and SILVER LUX collided, and SILVER LUX was hampered. ROSDUE KOLA
and BONITA DE KAHN collided and were unbalanced. In the back straight, ROSIE GAZE checked off
heels and lost ground. In the back
straight, APPLAUD ME shifted out and marred the running of SILVER LUX, causing
these two greyhounds and ROSDUE KOLA to be inconvenienced and to lose
ground. EARTH SHAKE was wide in the back
straight.
The
greyhound APPLUDE ME underwent a post race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found.
The
greyhound ROSIE GAZE underwent a post race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found.
Race 2 – SKY RACING MAIDEN FINAL – 431M
FROSTY
BLACK JAY began well. STRAIT RUM and
BERGARI collided at the start. TAYLOR
MAID and MAD ELLY DEE collided. In the first turn FROSTY BLACK JAY was
tightened causing this greyhound to shift out and check the running of STRAIT
RUM. SPRING PHOENIX was tightened and
lost ground. Entering the top turn,
BERGARI contacted the heels of NEXT EDITION and both greyhounds were checked.

ROSDUE
MISTY and ALPHA ATLAS were best to begin.
At the start, SIMMSY’S NINERON and FARMOR SUSPENSE collided. In the 1st
turn, SIMMSY’S NINERON and FARMOR SUSPENSE, FULL OF TRICKS and ROSDUE GYPSY
were all tightened, and as a result FULL OF TRICKS fell and took no further
competitive part in the event, with SIMMSY’S NINERON and FARMOR SUSPENSE losing
significant ground. In the 1st
turn, ALPHA ATLAS and ROSDUE MISTY collided and were unbalanced.
The
greyhound FARMOR SUSPENSE underwent a post race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found.
The
greyhound FULL OF TRICKS underwent a post race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found.
Race 4 – ALPHA FINANCE 5TH GRADE (1) – 431M
RINGBARK
MASON and DOUBLE OAK were slow to begin.
Shortly after the start, KOWBOY DE KAHN and SPRING REBEL collided. In 1st turn, CAIRNLEA ROCKET, COOL
VANE and DODGY ETHAN were hampered, causing COOL VANE and DODGY ETHAN to lose
ground. In the back straight, KOWBOY DE
KAHN shifted out colliding with SPRING REBEL, causing this greyhound to shift
onto the running of COOL VANE, DOUBLE OAK and DODGY ETHAN and all greyhounds
were inconvenienced. Entering the home straight, CAIRNLEA ROCKET shifted out
and turned its head outwards towards NO LAYING BACK and as a result both
greyhounds collided.
The
greyhound CAIRNLEA ROCKET underwent a post race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found.

GRADE – 431M
Even
start. In the first turn general
tightening resulting in interference to all runners, which were checked to
varying degrees, excluding BUD’S DELIGHT.
Leaving the 1st turn, SPRING WATTLE and SPRING SAL were
tightened and lost ground. GOOD DAZE
AHEAD was wide in the back straight. Entering
the top turn UNDER ADVICE was tightened and fell, taking no further competitive
part in the event. In the top turn,
HYPO SHOW and SPRING COLLEEN collided.
The
greyhound UNDER ADVICE underwent a post race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found.
Race 6 – TREMBATH TYRE REPAIRS MIXED 4/5TH
GRADE HEAT 1 – 520M
MR.
TERRIFIC was best to begin. At the
start, FLYAWAY BARB was tightened and momentarily hampered. In the front straight, MR. TERRIFIC and
SNOWBALL OTTO raced tight. In the 1st
turn, TOPAZ TAN and FLYAWAY BARB collided.
Leaving the top turn, SNOWBALL OTTO and KYLE THE TANK collided and were
unbalanced.

GRADE HEAT 2 – 520M
Even
start. In 1st turn, BELLA
CETTE, ONE DOLLAR and SNOWBALL CREED all collided and were unbalanced, causing
ONE DOLLAR to lose ground and PHANTOM PETE which was following, was
inconvenienced. In the front straight,
SNOWBALL CREED and BELLA CETTE collided and were unbalanced. SNOWBALL CREED was wide entering the back
straight.
Race 8 – BUTCHER CO BEST 8 – 431M
SPRING REINA and DODGY
DANCER were best to begin, and collided shortly after the start. In the 1st turn, LITTLE ACH CHEE,
PYRO BOB and GUY FAWKES raced tight and were unbalanced. RAZZIAI RAIN was also hampered as a
result. Entering the back straight, PYRO
BOB checked off heels and lost ground. In the top turn, PYRO BOB checked off
heels, shifted out, colliding with SPRING REINA and both greyhounds lost
ground.
Race 9 - WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM 5TH GRADE
(2) – 431M
CLICK COWAN was slow to
begin. Shortly after the start, TIGGY
BUZZARD and REAL JAZZ collided. In the 1st
turn, general tightening resulted in interference to all runners, with SPRING
ELLIE losing significant ground.
The greyhound SPRING
ELLIE underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries
were found.
Race 10 – SKY RACING 5TH GRADE (3) – 431M
Even start. In 1st turn, CHIPPIES, SPRING
ANGEL and MUSTANG NOVA raced tight and bumped.
PARIS QUEEN was hampered in the 1st turn. In the back straight, SPRING ANGEL contacted
the running rail and was unbalanced.
MUSTANG NOVA was wide entering the back straight and home straights. Entering the home straight, GRETA’S GIFT was
tightened and forced to shift out.
