Race 1 - GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM MAIDEN – 431M

 

PAY TODAY and REGAL SAPPHIRE were best to begin, EYE HATE CAKE was marginally slow.  In the 1st turn, LYNNY’S HONEY and BONITA DE KAHN bumped.  Leaving the 1st turn, LYNNY’S HONEY and BONITA DE KAHN bumped.  Leaving the 1st turn, TUTA SINGLE ONE and NEXT EDITION bumped, at the same time, PAY TODAY clipped heels.  Approaching the top turn, TUTA SINGLE ONE and ALWAYS ALBURY raced tight.  In the front and back straight, EYE HATE CAKE raced wide. 

 

Race 2 – SKY RACING NOVICE (1) – 431M

 

NITRO NORMA and SUCCATASH were best to begin, with BAN CHI BABY and SPRING RUSSELL slow.  Shortly after the start, I’M HERE and PATCHE DE KAHN bumped.  Leaving the 1st turn, PATCHE DE KAHN, ROSDUE BARISTA and NITRO NORMA bumped.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight, BAN CHI BABY got onto the hindquarters of SPRING RUSSELL.  In the front straight, DOREAS and SUCCATASH collided.  In the front straight, PATCHE DE KAHN, ROSDUE BARISTA raced wide.

 

The greyhound DOREAS underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 3 – WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM NOVICE (2) – 431M

 

GYPSY’S WISH was best to begin.  In the 1st turn, EYE LIKE CAKE, COST A PENNY, EARLY SETTLER and ROSDUE GYPSY collided, causing FAKE NEWS to be checked, fall, and give no further competitive part in the race.  Rounding the back straight, EARLY SETTLER and ROSDUE GYPSY collided.

 

The greyhound FAKE NEWS underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 4 – ALPHA 390 FINANCE 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 – 520M

 

STEAL A KISS was best to begin.  In the 1st turn, NIVEK RETSERROF raced wide.  In the top turn, ROYAL PLAY and THUNDER OF FIRE raced tight.  Rounding the turn into the front straight, NIVEK RETSERROF clipped heels.  In the front straight, STEAL A KISS and VANDERWEGHE bumped.  Approaching the finishing line, VANDERWEGHE clipped heels.

Even start, with JAYCEE’S LADY an APOLLO’S WARRIOR slow.  Approaching the 1st turn, LILLY PILLY LASS clipped heels.  At the same time, FEMME FOLLE and OFF THE DECK collided.  Rounding the turn out of the front straight, CHIPPIES clipped heels.  Rounding the turn of the back straight, APOLLO’S WARRIOR and FEMME FOLLE collided. In the top turn, LILLY PILLY LASS and APOLLO’S WARRIOR collided.

 

The greyhound FEMME FOLLE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

 

Race 6 – TREMBATH TYRE REPAIRS 5TH GRADE (1) - 431M

 

SPRING BENNY was best to begin, with ALPHA HESTIA marginally slow.  Shortly after the start, LILY’S BEAN, ROSDUE SHAKA and CATCH ME KEITH raced tight.  In the 1st turn, all dogs, except SPRING BENNY, collided and lost ground at differing degrees.  Rounding the turn into the back straight, LILY’S BEAN and CATCH ME KEITH collided.  Entering the back straight, LILY’S BEAN, CATCH ME KEITH and MAMMA’S BOY bumped.  Leaving the top turn, SPIRNG COLLEEN and ALPHA ATLAS bumped. 

 

Race 7 - WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM MIXED 4/5TH GRADE – 431M

 

VELOCITY ZARIN was best to begin, with ZILLIE BEAN and ALPHA DAENERYS marginally slow.  Leaving the 1st turn, NO MORE CAKE and ROSDUE MISTY bumped.  Entering the front straight, NO MORE CAKE and VELOCITY ZARIN bumped.  On the top turn, SPRING RUBY and ALPHA DAENERY’S bumped at the same time.  VELOCITY ZARIN and ROSDUE MISTY collided.  Leaving the top turn, ROSDUE MISTY collided with ALPHA DAENERYS, causing ALPHA DAENERYS to fall and give no further competitive part in the race. 

 

The greyhound ROSDUE MISTY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Race 8 – BUTCHER CO 4TH GRADE – 431M

 

SPRING WATTLE and JETTA KNIGHT were best to begin.  In the 1st turn, NEVER A DOUBT, ASTIN’S WARRIOR, TUBBY TURNER and SPRING REINA collided.  In the top turn, SPRING WATTLE was tightened for racing room.  Rounding the turn into the front straight, LIGHTNING WHITE and TUBBY TURNER bumped. Approaching the finish line, SPRING WATTLE, SPRING REINA and TUBBY TURNER bumped.

Even start.  Shortly after the start, I’M GLAD, AZA ZEUS and ROAD TO FLAME collided.  In the 1st turn, CAKE IT ON and ROAD TO FLAME bumped.  At the top turn, I’M GLAD, AZA ZEUS and CAKE IT ON raced tight. 

 

Race 10 – GREYHOUND OF THE YEAR 2008 ZANES’ BOY 5TH GRADE (2) – 431M

 

HONEY’S PRINCESS was best to begin, with CLICK COWAN slow.  In the 1st turn, CLICK COWAN and ALPHA PHOEBE bumped.  Rounding the turn into the back straight, ROSDUE KOLA clipped heels.  In the top turn, TIGGY BUZZARD got onto the hindquarters of HONEY’S PRINCESS.  Rounding the turn into the front straight, CLICK COWAN and TIGGY BUZZARD collided.
