Race 1 – GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM MAIDEN HEAT 1 – 431M

Best away was IVY’S BOUQUET and DAM THE MAN, with EYE HATE CAKE slowly away. In the back straight, EYE HATE CAKE was wide. Entering the turn out of the back straight, MADAM KARMAR and CRYSTAL CASCADE collide. In the home straight, MISS EMMY and EYE HATE CAKE were wide.

Race 2 – SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 – 431M

Best away was LOGAN’S RUN and SPRING PHOENIX, with VALEGRO slowly away. Entering the back straight, FROSTY BLACK JAY and CELTIC FEAR collide. In the back straight, BLUE JAY JAY was wide. Entering the turn out of the back straight, VALEGRO checked off the heels of MAYWYN’S ZEPHYR, causing those two greyhounds to drop back. In the home straight, FROSTY BLACK JAY was wide.

Best away was BROKEN YOLK, with PENUMBRA and SPRING RUSSELL slowly away. In the turn into the back straight, PENUMBRA and COST A PENNY collide, causing COST A PENNY to fall, checking EYE LIKE CAKE, causing EYE LIKE CAKE to race wide in the back straight. In the home straight, BROKEN YOLK was wide.

Entering the turn out of the home straight, NO MORE CAKE shifted out checking LA BAMBA, causing LA BAMBA to fall, causing NOTORIOUS HERO to be checked and fall as well. In the back straight, STOP THE IMAGE turned its head outwards and made no muzzle contact. In the home straight, STOP THE IMAGE turned its head inwards and made muzzle contact with GOT THERE.

Best away was HONEY’S PRINCESS, with LEST WE stumbling on jumping. In the back straight WIGGLE WABBLE was wide. Entering the turn out of the back straight, SPRING IVY checked off the heels of LEST WE. In the home straight, HONEY’S PRINCESS and VAQUERO were wide.
