Best away was MAYWYN’S ZEPHYR, with the rest evenly away. Soon after the start, STORM POWER, SCOTT NO CLUE and SOLO PILOT collide, causing SOLO PILOT to check CELTIC FEAR. Entering the back straight, SOLO PILOT and CELTIC FEAR collide. In the back straight and home straight, FROSTY BLACK JAY was wide.

The greyhound CELTIC FEAR underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Race 5 – CITY COUNTRY FOOD SERVICE 5^TH GRADE HEAT 2 – 431M

Race 5 was delayed by one minute for an international harness race.

Race 9 – BUTCHER CO 5^TH GRADE HEAT 4 – 431M

The greyhound MONDELLA underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near side hip and was stood down for a period of 28 days.

Connection to the greyhound PRATER’S PROMISE, was advised that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 (a) Failing to Pursue 1^st offence, with the greyhound to be stood down for period of 28 days, and would be required to perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial, over a distance of 431m, prior to racing.
