Race 1 – ADOPT A GREYHOUND MAIDEN – 431M
HARA’S
SURF was best to begin. Approaching the
1st turn, CROCODILE TEARS and CASH IN collided. Shortly after, CROCODILE TEARS and CASH IN
bumped, causing CASH IN to stumble and eventually fall. Leaving the turn into the back straight,
LADYLIKE GRACE shifted out, which impeded CROCODILE TEARS momentarily. Leaving the top turn, SOLO PILOT was impeded
and lost momentum.
The
greyhound CASH IN underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent
injuries were found.
Race 2 – SKY RACING NOVICE (1) – 431M
MISS
GRASSCUTTER was best to begin. Leaving
the turn into the back straight, MISS GRASSCUTTER shifted in and checked with
HARDLY NORMAL, causing HARDLY NORMAL to lose ground. Approaching the top turn, HARDLY NORMAL and
ROSEY’S LASS checked. Entering the turn
into the front straight, ROSEY’S LASS was impeded, then checked out off heels,
losing ground as it did.
Race 3 – GREYHOUND_DATA.COM NOVICE (2) – 431M
TIME
AND PLACE was best to begin. In the 1st
turn, WAZZA SAID was tightened for racing room and lost ground.
The
greyhound NO CONFIDENCE underwent a post race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found.

431M
LA
BAMBA and PROPER GENT were best to begin.
MAM’S MAGIC, HAY WILLIAM and MASTER BULLET raced tight and checked at
the 1st turn. HAY WILLIAM and
LA BAMBA raced tight approaching the top turn.
The
greyhound HAY WILLIAM underwent a post race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found.
Race 5 – CITY COUNTRY FOOD SERVICE 5TH GRADE
HEAT 1 – 431M
MALUTKI was best to
begin, DEVIL FISH and ROYAL PLAY were both marginally slow. TAZI BE GOOD and MALUTKI raced tight and
bumped on a number of occasions into the 1st turn. At the 1st turn, ONE EL shifted in
and checked into REGAL REPORT, which inconvenienced the majority of the field
which were trailing, with all losing ground to varying degrees. Shortly after, ONE EL was tightened for
racing room, checked, and lost significant ground as a result. At the back
straight, DEVIL FISH shifted out and checked into MALUTKI. Approaching the top turn, DEVIL FISH
continued to shift out, then checked into TAZI BE GOOD. Approaching the turn into the home straight,
DEVIL FISH eased and turned its attention towards the greyhounds racing behind
it. Shortly after, TAZI BE GOOD, which
was trailing, was inconvenienced and lost momentum. BIG HUEY and SUPER CETTE raced tight and
checked in the front straight.
Approaching the finish line, TAZI BE GOOD shifted out, which momentarily
impeded ROYAL PLAY, causing that greyhound to lose momentum.
The greyhound DEVIL
FISH underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were
found.
Connection to the
greyhound DEVIL FISH was advised that the greyhound would be charged under Rule
69 Failing to Pursue 1st Offence, with the greyhound to be stood
down for a period of 28 days, and would be required to perform a satisfactory
stewards’ trial, over a distance of 431m, prior to racing.

HEAT 2 – 431M
COUNT
WERINA was best to begin, CALYPSO BAY was marginally slow. In the 1st
turn, COUNT WERINA shifted in and collided into APACHE VILLA. Shortly after, EL ROMANO checked off heels,
shifted out, and collided heavily into AL BRUTON, with both greyhounds losing
ground as a consequence GYPSY’S WISH,
which was trailing, was inconvenienced and lost momentum. Shortly after, EL ROMANO checked off heels
and lost significant ground as a result.
GYPSY’S WISH, which was trailing, was severely inconvenienced and lost
significant ground also. Approaching the
turn into the front straight, HOLLY KNOCKS and GOOD GOLLY OLLY checked.
The
greyhound GYPSY’S WISH underwent a post race veterinary examination and no
apparent injuries were found.
Race 7 – TRUCK PARTS EXPRESS 5TH GRADE FINAL –
431M
GALWAY
JOHANN was slow to begin. In the 1st
turn, TRAV SAID checked off heels and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the front straight,
DEBREE BONUS checked off heels and lost considerable ground. GALWAY JOHANN raced wide through the turn
into the front straight. At the turn into the front straight, DEBREE BONUS
shifted in which severely inconvenienced ASH TIDE, which collided into TRAV
SAID, with both greyhounds losing substantial ground as a result.

FOXY BE GOOD was best
to begin, SNOWBALL OTTO was marginally slow.
In the 1st turn, JETTA KNIGHT checked off heels and lost
ground. Shortly after, PRECIOUS SAL
improved onto the heels of JETTA KIGHT, with both greyhounds losing ground as a
result. AZA ZEUS, which was trailing,
collided into PRECIOUS SAL, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. In the turn into the back straight, JETTA
KNIGHT and REGAL WAZ checked.
Approaching the top turn, JETTA KNIGHT shifted out and checked into
PRECIOUS SAL, on multiple occasions, causing both greyhounds to lose
ground.. Approaching the turn into the
front straight, AZA ZEUS was impeded and lost momentum.
The greyhound JETTA
KNIGHT underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries
were found.
Race 9 – COFFEE AT RONI’S 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 –
431M
CHIPPIES and BELLE OF
SWORDS were both marginally slow to begin.
Into the 1st turn the entire field, with the exception of
ELUSIVE ARROW and MISS FERNANDO, raced tight and checked, with all losing
ground to varying degrees. At the turn into the front straight, OPPORTUNE
KNOCKA and GUNLEE ROCKER raced tight and bumped.

STAR RISE was best to
begin. ZILLIE BEAN began awkwardly, and
as a result was slow. Approaching the 1st
turn, CAPTAIN’S KNOCK and GUY FAWKES raced tight and checked on multiple
occasions, causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Approaching the top turn, FRUIT ZAFONIC
shifted in, which severely inconvenienced STAR RISE, causing that greyhound to
check off heels and lose ground. At the
top turn, JIMARY MAGIC was impeded and shifted wide, losing ground as it did. SNOW GIRL also raced wide through the top
turn.
