Race 1 – ADOPT  A GREYHOUND | MAIDEN GRADE | 288 M

Cawbourne Shelly was best to begin. Yapper Bliss and Zabdon Zinger shifted to the inside sharply, immediately after the start, which caused interference to the entire field apart from Cawbourne Shelly.  Shortly after Spike Tail checked off heels and lost ground. Approaching the top turn Mr. Stallone collided into Yapper Bliss resulting in both greyhounds losing momentum. Leaving the top turn Yapper Bliss improved onto the heels of Earth Shake, resulting in both greyhounds losing ground. Approaching the turn into the front straight, Spike Tail was impeded and lost momentum. Mr. Stallone and Spike Tail checked on multiple occasions through the turn into the front straight.

Race 2 – SKY RACING | MAIDEN GRADE | 288 M

Deep Emotion was best to begin. Shortly after start Diesel Magic, Zulu Delight and Aislinn checked and lost ground. Approaching the first turn Aislinn improved onto the heels of Diesel Magic causing that greyhound to lose ground. Approaching the turn into the front straight Diesel Magic improved onto the heels of Aislinn with, both greyhounds losing ground as a result. Krazy Zoe shifted out and raced wide through the turn into front straight.

Aislinn – underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Race 3 – WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM | NOVICE GRADE | 288 M

Chewing Shoes was slow to begin. At the top turn, Wild Spark and Heza Classy Size were both tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the front straight, Master Tide and Zulu Plastique checked. 

Race 4 – GREYHOUND_DATA.COM | 5^th GRADE | 288 M

Lady Crimson was best to begin. Louie The Flyer was slow. At the top turn Chasing Dollars was tightened for racing room, checked, lost ground and then collided into Zulu Vision which also lost ground. Approaching the front straight Zulu Vision shifted in sharply which severely impeded Louie The Flyer which lost ground.

Zulu Vision – underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Miss Milky Bar was best to begin. Spring Ritchie was marginally slow. Wazza Queen and Not Too Bossy raced tight and checked through the first turn, shortly after Wazza Queen checked off heels and lost ground. Approaching the top turn Maywyn Cash was impeded, then collided into Miss Milky Bar losing momentum as it did.

Race 6 – BEENLEIGH LEGAL 5th Grade H | 5 GRADE | 431 M

Polly’s Gift was best to begin. Sonic Boom and Point Seven were both marginally slow. In the first turn Sonic Boom and Princess Werina checked causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Leaving the first turn Gitcha Quick, Kenatay and Velocity Charm checked and all lost ground. Shortly after Gitcha Quick checked off heels and lost further ground. Point Seven which was trailing collided into Gitcha Quick and lost ground also. At the same time Princess Werina checked off heels and lost ground. Leaving the top turn Sonic Boom checked off heels and lost ground.

Race 7 – WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM 5th Grade H | 5 GRADE | 431 M

Kimm’s Choice was best to begin. At the first turn Maywyn’s Zephyr and Bay of Mojo’s checked off heels and lost ground. Ash Tide which was trailing was inconvenienced. Leaving the first turn Maywyn’s Zephyr checked off heels and lost further ground. Ash Tide which was trailing, collided into Maywyn’s Zephyr and lost ground also. Approaching the top turn Zip Zip Rumble and Zulu Assault checked causing both to lose momentum.

Race 8 – GREYHOUND GEAR 5th Grade F | 5 GRADE | 431 M

An even start. At the first corner Bonne Chance, Annie Said and Inquisitive Me checked and lost ground. Shortly after Inquisitive Me and Commodus checked and both lost ground also. Leaving the turn into the back straight, Bonnie Chance and Annie Said checked and lost ground. Leaving the top turn Bonnie Chance and Inquisitive Me checked on a couple of occasions losing further ground. 

Race 9 – WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM | BT8 GRADE | 431 M

Little Ach Cee was best to begin. Daisy Dreams shifted out and checked into Second Gear immediately after start causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Approaching the top turn Second Gear and Cyndie Who were impeded, then checked, losing ground as a consequence. Approaching the turn into the front straight, I’ve Got Cents checked off heels and lost ground.

Race 10 – MALE TRAINER OF YEAR 2017 - COLIN BYERS | M5 GRADE | 431 M

Sweet Karmar was best to begin. Water Boy was marginally slow. Fruit Zafonic and Annie’s Magic raced tight and checked on a number of occasions through the first turn, losing ground as they did. Water Boy which was trailing was inconvenienced and also lost ground. Leaving the top turn Hardaway Terror checked off heels and lost ground.
