Race 1 –ADOPT A GREYHOUND  MAIDEN GRADE  288 M

Shortly after start Petrie Tail was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight Diesel Magic was tightened for racing room and lost ground, Wildash Mickey was checked as a consequence and lost ground. Shortly after Ever Ready Eddy and Diesel Magic collide resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight Petrie Tail, Ever Ready Eddy and Diesel Magic collide, resulting in all greyhounds to be checked and to lose ground. Entering the front straight Drew’s Brew shifted out which checked the running of Outback Devotion. In the front straight during the later stages Outback Devotion shifted in which hampered the running of Drew’s Brew.

Race 2 –SKY RACING   MAIDEN GRADE  288 M

Three Horn was slow to begin. In the back straight Maywyn Irene was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Yapper Bliss which was trailing was checked as a consequence and lost ground. At the same time, Scott No Clue shifted out which checked the running of Skie”s Magic. Approaching the turn into the front straight Skie’s Magic shifted in and made contact with the running rail and lost ground.

Skie’s Magic - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Race 3 –WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM  MAIDEN GRADE  431 M

Smashniak Mirage was slow to begin. Through the first turn Natural Blue was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight Frosty Black Jay collide resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lost ground. Natural Blue which was trailing was checked as a consequence and lost ground. Leaving the back straight Smashniak Mirage was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Leaving the back straight Try This On was tightened for racing room and lost ground. In the front straight Natural Blue checked across heels and lost ground.

Smashniak Mirage - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off side pin and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

Race 4 – GREYHOUND_DATA.COM  NOVICE GRADE  431 M

Through the first turn the majority of the field raced tight, resulting in all greyhounds to be checked and lose ground with the exception of Phantom Dee. Entering the back straight Master Shadow was tightened for racing room and lost ground. In the back straight Spike Tail was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight Maywyn Wishes commenced to give ground finishing a considerable distance from the remainder of the field. Rounding the turn into the front straight Spike Tail commenced to give ground to finish a considerable distance from the field.

Maywyn Wishes- underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off side hock and was humanely euthanized.

Spike Tail - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off side leg and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

Race 5 – WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM  4 /5 GRADE  288M

Zulu Vision and Chrome Run were slow to begin. Approaching the turn out of the back straight Miss Jade was tightened for racing room and lost ground.

Race 6 – TREMBATH TYRE REPAIRS 5th Grade H  5 GRADE  431 M

Through the first turn with the exception of Who Nose Size and Maywyn Cash all runners were tightened for racing room and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight Burning Oak was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Stealth Karmar which was racing to its outside was checked as a consequence and lost ground. In the back straight Who Nose Size shifted out which hampered the running of Maywyn Cash.

Race 7- WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM 5th Grade H  5 GRADE  431 M

Rounding the turn into the back straight Elusive Fancy was tightened for racing room shifted out and collided with Queen Werina causing both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground, Reactor which was trailing was checked as a consequence and lost ground. Leaving the back straight Annie’s Magic and Queen Werina collide resulting in Queen Werina to be checked and lose ground. Rounding the turn into the front straight Queen Werina was tightened for racing room and lost ground. 

Race 8 – WHITE ROSE BOARDING KENNELS 4/5 Grade F 4 / 5 GRADE  431 M

Blue Jillem and Under Advice were both slow to begin. Blue Texada shifted out in the back straight which hampered the running of Walloon Moo. Rounding the turn into the front straight Blue Texada and Walloom Moo bump.

Race 9 – WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM  FFA GRADE  431 M

All runners were tightened through the first turn with the exception of Rapid Explosion. Entering the back straight Go Lassie Go, Dahomey Windsong and Ima Necromancer were all tightened for racing room and lost ground. Entering the back straight Proper Gent and Dahomey Windsong were tightened for racing room and lost ground.

Race 10 – WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM  5 GRADE  431 M

Through the first turn Hara’s Shadow was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Ash Tide which was trailing checked, fell and took no further competitive part in the race.  Leaving the back straight Hara’s Shadow improved onto heels, shifted out and lost ground. Patrick George which was trailing was checked as a consequence and lost ground. Hara’s Shadow raced wide rounding the turn into the front straight

Skie’s Magic - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.
