Race 1 –GREYHOUND ADOPTION PROGRAM | MAIDEN GRADE | 431 M
Blue Thunder Bud was best to begin. Shortly after the start Tuta Single One and What He Said all raced tight. In the first turn all dogs expect Big Man Rusty and Blue Thunder Bud collied and lost ground to different degrees. Approaching the turn into the back straight Accolade Royal and Tipsy Four collided. What He Said - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. Race 2 – WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM | MAIDEN GRADE | 520 M Dynamite Lucy was best to begin. Shortly after the start Centigram, Jeffreys Bay and Pearl Za Diamond collided. Approaching the first turn Centigram, Pearl Za Diamond, Firmino and Sheer Passion collided. Rounding the first turn Sheer Passion and Jeffreys Bay collided, causing Pearl Za Diamond to be checked and Centigram to clipped heels. In the top turn Valentino Fox got onto the hind quarters of Dynamite Lucy. Approaching the turn into the front straight Waltzing Danube clipped heels. Race 3 –SKY RACING | 4 GRADE | 431 M Love The Look was best to begin with Maywyn Emeralds slowly away. Entering the back straight Maywyn Emeralds and Sail Surfer bumped. Leaving the top turn Sail Surfer and Spring Wattle raced tight. Maywyn Emeralds - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the chest muscle and was stood down for a period of 14 days.
Race 4 –DOVER & SONS | 4 /5 GRADE | 520 M Even Start with Individual Richy marginally slow. Shortly after the start Butterfly Is She, Arch Rival Not Too Bossy and Haigslea Flyer race tight. Approaching the first turn Individual Richy shifted out checking Butterfly Is She, Arch Rival and Not Too Bossy causing all greyhounds to race wide. In the back straight Not Too Bossy raced wide. Approaching the turn into the front straight Haigslea Flyer and Individual Richy collided on numerous occasions. Not To Bossy - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. Race 5 – Vince Curry Memorial Maiden Ips 520 (G3) S | MAIDEN GRADE | 520 M Even start with French Frolic slipping on the green matting. Approaching the turn French Frolic, Panacho Not Lefty, Exciting Times, Mac Brothers, Headliner, Logan Belle and Mungo Barry collided causing French Frolic to hit the running rail and Pancho Not Lefty, Mac Brothers, Headliner to fall and give no further competitive part in the race. Pancho Not Lefty - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. Mac Brothers - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. Headliner - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. French Frolic - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. Race 6 – Vince Curry Memorial Maiden Ips 520 (G3) S | MAIDEN GRADE | 520 M Even start. Shortly after the start Canya Chase was tightened for racing room. Approaching the first turn Babs Kramer and Hay Haz collided causing Sir Pantsalot, Canya Chase and Velocity Chance to be checked as a result. Rounding the turn into the back straight Sir Pantsalot was tightened for racing room. In the top turn Velocity Chance and Babs Kramer collided stop. In the front straight Canya Chase turned its head and made contact on numerous occasion with Hay Haz. CANYA CHASE - was charged with marring R69 1st offence 1 trial and 28 days stand down Race 7 – Vince Curry Memorial Maiden Ips 520 (G3) S | MAIDEN GRADE | 520 M Yogi Bear was best to begin. Shortly after the start Outa Yetta and Queen Tina bumped. Approaching the first turn Emmaville Star and Tienne Tea collided causing Techno Hornet and Outa Yetta to be checked as a result. Queen Tina clipped heels. In the top turn Shorino shifted out and clipped heels.
Race 8 – Vince Curry Memorial Maiden Ips 520 (G3) S | MAIDEN GRADE | 520 M Bago Bluff was best to begin with Celtic Dragon marginally slow. Approaching the first turn Bago Bluff hit the running rail causing Big Nose Johnny to be checked. In the first turn Bago Bluff and Pitch Black Jet collided causing Chicko’s Charm to clip heels. In the top turn Bago Bluff and Twisted Mischief collided. Approaching the turn into the front straight Pitch Black JET clipped heels. In the front straight Hollow Words and Pearls Are Us bumped on numerous occasions. Bago Bluff- underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. Pitch Black Jet – underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. Race 9 – ADVENTURE TOURISM AUSATRALIA | 5 GRADE | 431 M Vaquero was best to begin. In the first turn Spring Daphne, Zip Zip Rumble and Bow Wow Wow collided. Leaving the first turn Commodus and Vaquero collided, at the same time Spring Daphne and Sienna’s Boy collided. In the top turn Will Eye Am and Bow Wow Wow collided. Will Eye Am - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. Race 10 –GREG STERNBERG VET SURGEON | 5 GRADE | 431 M Even start. Shortly after the start Spring Eagle and Next collided. Leaving the front turn Surfboard and Spring Eagle collided with Spring Eagle and Next colliding. In the back straight Next commenced to give ground and open running. Next - underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near hind leg and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
