Race 1: ADOPT A GREYHOUND MAIDEN – 288m (1) Gunnadoo Rebel – Checked off heels approaching the turn out of the back straight. Checked out across heels rounding the turn into the home straight. (2) Alpha Tyche – Declared a late scratching at 2.24pm under GAR39 for a weight variation of -1.4kg. Trainer M. Cuneo was fined $50. (5) Pads And Paws – Bumped with Fairy Wren at the start. (9/6) Fairy Wren - Buffeted between runners at the start and was checked. (7) Do The Talking – Bumped with Fairy Wren at the start. Raced tight with Pads And Paws approaching the turn out of the back straight and was momentarily hampered. (8) Cawbourne Shelly – Raced wide for a majority of the event. Race 2: SKY RACING NOVICE – 288m (1) Minor Details – Tightened for racing room entering the turn out of the back straight and was momentarily hampered. (3) Dorie's Pick - Tightened for racing room approaching the winning post and checked. (4) Crocodile Tears - Checked off heels entering the turn out of the back straight. Bumped with Fabio Marsha on several occasions rounding the turn into the home straight and throughout the home straight. (6) Fabio Marsha - Bumped by Golly Goodness, which shifted inwards at the start, and was checked. Bumped with Crocodile Tears on several occasions rounding the turn into the home straight and throughout the home straight. (7) Golly Goodness – Severely checked entering the turn out of the back straight. Tightened for racing room approaching the winning post and checked. Race 3: WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM NOVICE – 288m (1) Cisco Sniper - Tightened for racing room entering the turn out of the back straight and was bumped and hampered. (2) Dyna Charlton - Tightened for racing room entering the turn out of the back straight and was checked. (4) Abby Jazzy – Tightened for racing room entering the turn out of the back straight and was severely checked. (5) Take A Chance – Contacted on the heels by Black Spike when entering the turn out of the back straight, was severely checked, almost fell and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. (6) Cawbourne Imogen - Tightened for racing room entering the turn out of the back straight and was checked. (7) Mac Wiggles - Tightened for racing room entering the turn out of the back straight and was checked. (8) Black Spike - Contacted the heels of Take A Chance when entering the turn out of the back straight, was severely checked, almost fell and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. After reviewing the race footage, stewards considered the actions of Black Spike over the concluding stages, in particular whether the greyhound had followed the lure with due commitment. When factoring in the near fall, and that Take A Chance was attempting to shift inwards and bumping with Black Spike, Stewards could not be comfortably satisfied that the greyhound had offended under GAR 69A for Failing To Pursue, and gave the greyhound the benefit of doubt. Race 4: GREYHOUND_DATA.COM MIXED 4/5 – 288m (3) Dreaming Dora - Tightened for racing room into the turn out of the back straight and was momentarily hampered. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hip and was stood down for 7 days. (4) Vestiarius – Tightened for racing room into the turn out of the back straight and was momentarily hampered. (5) She's My Lady – Contacted the heels of Sage Of Omaha when entering the turn out of the back straight and was severely checked. (6) Sage Of Omaha - Contacted on the heels by She’s My Lady when entering the turn out of the back straight and was severely checked. (8) Indiana Princess - marginally slow to begin. Race 5: DOVER & SONS MA5 - 431m (1) Trademark Style – Tightened between runners when entering the home straight and was momentarily hampered. (2) Grand Angel - Tightened for room approaching the first turn and was checked. (3) Star Rise - Tightened for room approaching the first turn and was hampered. Checked off heels in the back straight. Raced wide rounding the turn into the home straight. (4) Myona Morpheus - Tightened for room approaching the first turn and was checked. Tightened for room over the concluding stages and was checked. (5) Demon Fury – Tightened for room approaching the first turn and was checked. Raced wide for a majority of the event. (7) Luca Bazooka - Tightened for room approaching the first turn and was checked. (8) After Glow - Tightened for room over the concluding stages and was checked. (9) Daze Like These - Race 6: WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 – 431m (1) Maywyn's Vixen – Checked off heels rounding the turn into the back straight. (3) Willy Toula – Bumped on the hindquarters by Beau’s Image through the first turn and was checked. (9/4) Daze Like These – Bumped with Beau’s Image shortly after the start and was hampered. (5) Beau's Image – Through the first turn, improved onto the hindquarters of Willy Toula, then shifted out and collided with Fabulous Gee, then Keith Henry, was severely checked and lost considerable ground. Checked off heels entering the turn out of the back straight. (7) Fabulous Gee – Tightened for racing room through the first turn and was checked. (8) Keith Henry – Collided with Beau’s Image, when that runner shifted outwards through the first turn, was severely checked and lost considerable ground. Race 7: BEENLEIGH LEGAL 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 – 431m (1) Mally's Nova - Bumped by About Ready at the start and was hampered. Checked off heels when entering the first turn. (2) About Ready – Bumped with Mally’s Nova at the start and was checked. (3) Stealth Karmar – Checked off heels when entering the first turn. (7) Phantom Dee – Bumped with Medellin Lad rounding the turn into the back straight and was momentarily hampered. (8) Oh She Glows – Shifted out on the turn into the home straight and bumped with Oh She Glows. Race 8: GREYHOUND GEAR 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 – 431m (3) No Confidence – Collided with Tictac Cloud through the first turn and was checked. (5) Junk Yard Hutchy – Tightened for room through the first turn and was checked. Tightened for room entering the back straight and was momentarily hampered. (6) Iwo Jima – Began awkwardly and was very slow to begin. Bumped with Tictac Cloud on a number of occasions when rounding the turn into the home straight and was checked. (7) Tictac Cloud - Collided with No Confidence through the first turn and was checked. Bumped with Iwo Jima on a number of occasions when rounding the turn into the home straight and was checked. Race 9: WWW.IPSWICHGREYHOUNDS.COM GRADE 5 – 288m (4) Velour Rumble – Collided with Pink Sunset when that runner shifted inwards shortly after the start and momentarily hampered. (5) Midnight Dasher – Tightened for room at the start and checked when Pink Sunset shifted inwards. (6) Pink Sunset – Shifted inwards at the start hampering Midnight Dasher and colliding with Velour Rumble. Tightened for room and severely checked when entering the turn out of the back straight. (7) Miss Emmy – Raced wide in the front straight. Race 10: OWNER OF YEAR 2011 – ROBERT ESSEX GRADE 5 – 288m (1) Catch Me Keith – Tightened for room and severely checked when rounding the turn out of the back straight and then bumped with Style County. (4) Zambora Spur – Tightened for room and checked when rounding the turn out of the back straight. (6) Style County – Bumped by Catch Me Keith when that runner was losing ground while rounding the turn out of the back straight and was momentarily hampered. (7) Haight Ashbury – Contacted on the hindquarters by Shintaro Star when rounding the turn into the home straight. (8) Shintaro Star – Collided with Haight Ashbury when rounding the turn into the home straight and was severely checked.
